I was just praying they wouldn't schedule the Flaming Lips at the exact same time as Broken social scene... but I guarantee you that's exactly what's gonna happen. 😠

There you go. Click on a date if you feel like looking. 🙂

Heh... naturally I went to check there first, but there isn't a single setlist listed for any recent dates—only stuff from a few years back. 😢 So, I figured I'd ask here, in case anyone happens to have info from this current tour...

Larry Cooper40 said:I was honestly just sitting here hoping—fingers crossed, right?—that they wouldn't schedule the Flaming Lips at the exact same time as Broken Social Scene... but let's be real, I'd bet anything that’s exactly what’s going to happen! 😠

Honestly, everything just keeps getting pushed to the second day! 😢
Maybe the headliner will be someone like they were last year—you know, kind of a throwback vibe?
8:45 PM Flaming Lips!
Can you believe we actually get to see Massive Attack at 10:45 PM?! I mean, talk about the perfect way to wrap up the night—just pure, atmospheric bliss right when the energy is peaking! Who else is counting down the minutes?
And this World Stage—I mean, seriously, can we talk about it? Is it just me, or does it feel like they absolutely nailed the vibe this year? It’s got that massive, larger-than-life energy that you only get at a festival like Coachella! I was standing there just soaking it all in, and honestly, the scale of everything is just mind-blowing. Who wouldn't want to be right in the thick of that?😕)
Can we talk about the broken social scene for a second? Seriously, things have just gone totally off the rails lately!
I mean, honestly, something's bound to happen with those two bands—who knows what kind of chaos they'll stir up?
Man, I am seriously craving seeing Massive Attack live again... and honestly? I’d jump around to Flogging Molly all over again in a heartbeat. Wouldn't that be incredible? 😢

Honestly, Caribou is one of those rare artists who you could just watch under the blazing midday sun and still be totally vibing—you know what I mean? It’s just that kind of energy! 😬

yeah, that was the first thing I noticed...
day one is just Morcheeba and LCD Soundsystem, then the second day will probably have all the heavy hitters... and with such a thin lineup, you'll end up missing half the stuff anyway... honestly, festivals suck😢

and yeah, the world stage? wtf 😕

I’m actually really curious about the set times. I just hope the three bands I’m dying to see on the first day don't clash—Pendulum, Morcheeba, and LCD Soundsystem... what a nightmare if they do, especially since they're all on different stages. 🙂

The second day should be pretty fun, though—hopefully they schedule things like New Young Pony Club and Caribou earlier so we can dance while the sun is still out.

Alright, is anyone actually going to drop the set times, and when?
Because with a layout like this, we’re just stuck guessing. 🤷

Alexander Miller54 said:Alright, but when exactly are we going to see the official schedule?
Because with the way things are being presented right now, we’re basically just left guessing. 🤷

I have a feeling they won't drop the full timetable until just a couple of days before the festival kicks off.

Here is the daily lineup:

Zero Day, June 21st
Alice in Chains
The Beat Fleet
Kawasaki 3P
Popeye
Absolut Party DJs

Honestly, I feel like they really ought to have booked at least one more major headliner to bridge the gap before AIC—you know, someone big to follow up after TBF.☕

Does anyone happen to know when they're re-running The Flaming Lips special? It was that short documentary that aired on PBS earlier today.

is forecasting some bad weather, but the irony is it’s still going to be sweltering. 30 degrees Celsius plus rain equals 👎

Is there any logic in just showing up for a single day when Pendulum is on the lineup, rather than committing to the entire weekend or simply staying home altogether? I find myself stuck in this endless loop of indecision...
I’ve been sitting here, methodically cycling through the rest of the roster, desperately hoping to stumble upon something truly transcendent, something that actually moves the needle. But honestly? It’s all just more of the same—nothing particularly groundbreaking, nothing that really grabs me by the throat.

Honestly, where is this coming from? There is absolutely no way they can accurately predict rain for June 21st right now. If you ask me, the weather is going to be perfect. 🙂 Just look back at last year—it was pouring rain 15 days before the festival and 10 days after, yet during the actual festival dates, we didn't see a single drop... even though the forecast the day before was terrible. 😉

quietcobra said:So the plan is either show up for just one day because Pendulum is playing, or commit to the whole thing—or just skip it entirely. Interesting approach...
I’ve been sitting here grinding through the rest of the lineup, praying I’ll stumble onto something actually decent, but honestly? Everything feels pretty mid. Just a bunch of "meh" tracks.

Wait, let me get this straight—so Pendulum is the only thing you actually care about, and for everything else, you're just now listening to them and deciding they're all garbage too? Seriously? 🤷

Drew Barrett4 said:So, let me get this straight... you’re claiming Pendulum is the absolute peak of musical existence, yet you haven't even bothered to explore the rest? You're just now discovering these artists, and frankly, you don't even think they're any good!?!?!?! 🤷

I am reasonably familiar with most of the headliners and the international acts, but if we are being honest, my knowledge of Alice in Chains or The Flaming Lips is incredibly thin—all I really know about them is that their vocalist lent his voice to a track by the Chemical Brothers 😁 )
I listened to a bit of Massive Attack a while back, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me; I suppose if I actually liked them, I would have jumped at the chance to see them live six months ago. Morcheba is decent enough, though if you listen for too long, you'll find yourself drifting off into a nap. Now, Audio Bullys? That’s something I could actually sit through. As for LCD Soundsystem, they have exactly one great track in my eyes, and the rest is just filler ☕ Idol has one good song (or so I was told regarding the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival), and Chk Chk Chk has one standout track as well (though, to be fair, it's just a remix, so I doubt the purists would agree), and so on and so forth...
