And these silent discos? What's the point? It's pathetic. I don't get why they don't just book some actual decent DJs and throw a real party under the tent. It wouldn't even cost much.
I'm with you. A silent disco is fine for maybe 15 minutes, then it gets annoying even for me, and I actually listen to electronic music.
They should just bring in DJs and host a real party. You can get some seriously high-quality names for relatively cheap. Based on how things have gone the last few years, I doubt we'll see any good DJs. God knows who's picking them.
Yeah, and I agree, it would be killer if Crystal Castles came 🙂

thanks for the heads up, man...
man, I really hope the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival finds us a beer brand that won't leave us with a killer headache... seriously... 🙂

Goodness, tell me about it.
I caught their set at Lollapalooza last year, and I suppose they really were something quite extraordinary. I am crossing my fingers that they might show up at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this year so I can experience that spectacle all over again.🙂

Honestly, I feel like it won't make much of a difference which beer they end up serving; I’ve never actually had a decent experience with draft beer at music festivals, no matter where I go. 😁
Plus, Crystal Castles are right in the middle of their tour this year—they've got a date set for June 24th in Madrid, but they're actually free for months leading up to that, so fingers crossed. 🙂

Dear Lord, please bless the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival with some beer that won't leave me with a massive headache... seriously... 🙂

I’m with you on that! Budweiser is the way to go—I don't know about anyone else, but green definitely doesn't look like beer to me (just trying to avoid the panic).🙂

I wouldn't even serve this swill to pigs😁
all those mass-produced beers are absolute garbage—but if I'm forced to pick one, I guess Budweiser will do

I'd much rather catch Crystal Method... 😁

Instead of booking actual DJs and throwing a real party... they could bring in some seriously high-quality names without breaking the bank. Based on how things have gone at Lollapalooza the last few years, I doubt we're gonna see any top-tier talent this time around. No clue who's even picking the lineup...
A party isn't even a real party if you don't feel like the bass is literally rearranging your organs... 😁

s3ngs... seriously, does anyone even listen to that stuff anymore??? 🤷
Fine, you nailed it on the Molly flogging. That was a solid call.
But I’m still sitting here thinking there’s no way in hell Kings of Leon are actually showing up—it just feels impossible. And don't even get me started on Prodigy, I'm not buying that either.
Whatever, man. Believe what you want.. 🙂

Kings of Leon definitely won't show up if they're stuck in New York City from June 20th to the 23rd
I mean, you can literally just Google anything these days, it's not rocket science... =))
And honestly? If they actually managed to book Prodigy—yeah, people would be freaking out trying to grab tickets, but the whole festival vibe would just get trashed because they keep booking the same damn acts over and over again, so...

I don't know, I'm taking her word for it.

This is such heavy news, even if they tried to lighten things up with a joke...
Gerard Smith (the bassist from TV on the Radio) has been diagnosed with lung cancer.

I actually posted this a good while ago on the previous page, and honestly, I’m a bit surprised nobody said anything about it. To me, they’re still one of the most interesting acts out there, right up there with Arcade Fire on T-Mobile

I have no idea how I managed to miss your post entirely... but honestly, let’s just leave that link right there so people can dive into those extra details.
A silent disco—maybe because they aren't allowed to crank the volume after 1 AM or whenever the noise ordinance kicks in...

And why would he suddenly turn bad? 🤷 He wouldn't...
Sorry, honey, but your logic is—to put it mildly—completely bizarre.
First off, I never for a second thought that Coachella would book Kings of Leon. Why?
Because they are one of the most expensive and sought-after bands on the planet right now—and our festival simply doesn't have the budget for that. Besides, they wouldn't even show up; their schedule is absolutely packed, and they're being extremely picky about where they play.
Second—you say they'll be in New York City at that time, but unless we've discovered teleportation, a band can't exactly be in two places at once, wouldn't you agree?
Third—take a look at this:
http://www.kingsofleon.com/pages/tour
So, go ahead—decide for yourself whether you'd rather believe a friend or the official data right there on the artist's own website.
OMG! I honestly don't know why I even bothered typing this out. I must be losing my mind. 😁

Don't even bother trying; you're just wasting your breath. Amanda Barrett4’s little friend is basically out here making predictions like she's Vanga, and Amanda Barrett4 isn't just her most loyal follower—she’s practically part of a cult centered around "Willpower." She acts like this incredibly rational person with a sharp eye and a brilliant mind who meticulously weighs every single fact before blurting something out just to be the first one to speak.
Regarding that comment someone made about Prodigy needing to play again for the festival to be worth it—I have to disagree! There are certain performers who will always be in high demand, and Prodigy actually has a "new" set that hasn't been performed at Central Park yet. It's honestly a tragedy when festivals keep booking mediocre acts over and over again (I won't name names this time, because I really don't feel like being torn apart on a sacrificial altar by some disgruntled soul)!

Give me a break, why even ask? 🥳
It’s not her fault her friend can actually see the future. 🙂
