Telescope recommendations?

Yesterday, someone was fiddling around with my telescope, and now I can't see a thing through it. It’s a single-tube design—some people refer to it as a refractor—but if it took a tumble onto the floor and something popped loose inside, is there any realistic chance I could fix it myself?😢

I actually thought about posting that photo myself, but I felt a little self-conscious about it 😳

Looking through my telescope, I noticed one of those pyramidal glass elements has popped right out of its housing where it belongs. Does anyone happen to know if there's a specialized repair shop anywhere in the Greater Los Angeles area that handles this kind of precision work?

It looks like you knocked the prism out of alignment😳 maybe try finding an astronomy hobbyist or someone who knows their way around a telescope to get it fixed up for you😉

You might want to check in with a local optometrist to see what they think; they'll probably be able to point you toward some reliable shops nearby.

Let me just answer my own question 😁. By the way, I honestly had no clue a telescope could be this bizarre... I always just pictured it as some simple tube filled with lenses 😁

Does anyone here happen to know of a reliable local business or service provider in the Orlando area or perhaps somewhere in Central Florida? I am having a bit of a hard time finding any helpful leads while I'm out here in the rural parts of the state.🤷

I could really use some advice here.
My telescope took a nasty tumble onto the floor while it was still in its case, and now I'm staring at a double image. It looks like the collimation is totally shot—basically, the lenses shifted out of alignment. Does anyone know how I can fix this?😕

Take it apart, fix it up, put it back together...

I didn't actually replace them, 😁
I just carefully sliced through the protective rubber seal on the binoculars, opened the housing up, and manually repositioned the prism 😁
