Yeah, that's pretty much how I'm seeing it too, 👍 not to mention there are plenty of acts missing from the lineup that I actually would have loved to see.😍

I’d bet anything that the Chemical Brothers are on the lineup since they’re playing Lollapalooza too, and I guess maybe Dropkick Murphys might show up because there seems to be such a heavy punk influence at this year's Coachella! Or who knows, maybe Muse could make an appearance? 🙂

Come on, just give me a hint—which one? 🙂

If only it were Metallica Slayer Pantera instead 😁
Green Day could probably pull it off too, though. :P

Green Day is out of the question—they're playing in Seattle the day before Lollapalooza, and then they've got a festival in Boston the very next day.

Well, unfortunately, Mando Diaw might show up, but he’s really the only big name I'm feeling a vibe from. Still, I'm holding out a little hope that maybe Strokes, Muse, or Ratm will make an appearance instead.

Calling all bands that played in America this past year—you better show up at Lollapalooza 😂

It was honestly such a disaster. Back when they were in Chicago about four or five months ago for that mess, Lollapalooza 👎👎

Sounds like you were the only one having a bad time... ☕
I mean, sure, it’s a bit silly to book bands that have already toured here, but what can you do? At least Massive Attack is worth seeing five times over...

...so, can we actually expect Spandau Ballet at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival now? 🤷 😁

..but honestly...Massive Attack would be awesome since I missed their last show...and it'd be so cool if Fatboy Slim showed up—I've been dying to see him perform...

I mean, sure, it’s a bit dull that they keep bringing back bands that have already toured the US recently, but honestly, seeing Massive Attack is worth watching five times over.

And obviously I'm disappointed! When I head to a festival, I'm looking for acts that haven't been playing shows in America for the last few years—or even the last few months, for that matter. ☕

You’re absolutely losing it. Honestly, if they were playing shows in my city every single month, I don't think I'd ever get tired of it... maybe.
If a band of this caliber were to grace our shores twice a year, I suppose one could argue it might actually be nothing short of fantastic.

Look, I don't see it that way at all, and honestly, I think it's pretty lame. End of story. 🙂

Well, I suppose I see your point regarding how nonsensical it might seem for a band to perform twice in the same city within a single year.

However, we aren't exactly discussing some mediocre garage act here. If, for instance, Nickelback were to book them twice, I might agree there’s little point. But Massive Attack is arguably at the absolute pinnacle of the music scene today, and their live shows are nothing short of genius. I’m not sure if you’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing them live, but I’ve been lucky enough to catch them twice—once in Vienna and more recently in Chicago—and I will most certainly be going again whenever they are back in the vicinity.

Furthermore, we have to consider that this is a festival setting. While the local Chicago crowd might feel a bit saturated, festivals are designed to draw people from a much wider geographic area. A huge portion of that audience likely hasn't had the opportunity to experience Massive Attack live, or perhaps they simply weren't willing to make the trek to Chicago solely for one show. For the vast majority of attendees, this will be a completely fresh experience.

..I honestly don't even know how to put into words how absolutely thrilled I am that they actually managed to scrape together enough cash to book Massive Attack by the eleventh month. 😍
