It was roughly $233 if I recall correctly 😁
Based on this, it seems like there's zero point in even picking up a non-APU, or basically anything without an iGPU

Seriously, Best Buy, this thing is basically built for people who just play League or stuff like that.

A 480GB SSD just dropped under $300 😁

Man, back in the day when we were dealing with the Vertex 3, you could have picked up a much better 120GB SSD for what a Vertex 4 used to cost.

It looks like the Kingston UV400 has stepped into that budget niche... from what I can tell, it feels noticeably better than the Trion 100 or the Crucial BX200, though maybe just a bit slower than the Trion 150.

It’s a pretty narrow field when you're comparing the Trion 100 and the Trion 150. 😁
Basically, most of these newer budget drives are cut from the same cloth. You really have to weigh the price against capacity, warranty terms, and actual user reliability feedback.

The Adata SP550 240GB is sitting at $155...
Also, that AMD R3 SSD looks like a solid little budget pick.

EDIT

Actually, this one is technically the cheapest option out there (links)

Not exactly $667, but looking at what things cost here in the States, I wouldn't be surprised if they jumped up to $2200-$$767

I figured it’d take maybe 3 or 4 weeks before we actually see what the 480 x is going to cost.
If its performance ends up being anything like the 390, those older cards are gonna need at least a 20% haircut—dropping them below the 480 x price point—assuming there’s even any decent stock left out there.
Of course, there will always be a few suckers sitting on shelves at insane prices, just waiting for some idiot to fall for them.

They’ve been running low for a while now, and most of the time they’re just completely out of stock. What we’re seeing right now is basically a clearance sale to move the remaining inventory. The real question is how much—if anything—will actually be left on the shelves in a month or so.

That’s a pretty standard price point. You can actually find it at some retailers for $6.75 even less

It’s still a steal compared to how much people are overcharging on Craigslist. 😁
