And the crazy ones? 🤷
Well, I'm on medication myself—feeling pretty decent right now, actually 🙂
But I have to admit, Kurt is actually good. Truth be told, I just finally sat down and listened to that link above, and it’s solid. It's not like we haven't heard stuff similar to this before, obviously, and yeah—I'm trying to imagine what they'd sound like if he played the accordion. Does an electric accordion even exist? 🤷
Go ahead, 🙏
So, how was the concert? ☕

which king 🙏

I suppose I poked his belly and ended up dancing for the first time (while wearing a dress) 😳

Ahem, you’ve already crowd-surfed once. Okay, fine, maybe you just sort of drifted through the crowd. 😵

🙏
Now I'm honestly kicking myself for not going to see that 😢

He snagged a single room at the hotel that was originally booked for Tanja Jovićević 😠
Some guy rolls up to the exact same hotel where The Cure stayed—you know, the one with the paperwork for Carnegie Hall—and the woman handling the reservations for the in Memoriam EKV event at Carnegie Hall just hands him a single room without a second thought. She clearly assumed he was part of the crew arriving early for 😠

🤣
Can't really blame her, honestly. I’d probably make the same mistake 😬

Who, Jason Chavez32? Not really.—
I felt a little intimidated myself once—back when I was rushing through my finals—but after that one time I stayed up two nights straight before graduation, I think they’d just keep me in the "underachiever" category indefinitely.🤷

She had booked four doubles and a single for the group, but she ended up just giving him a single room, assuming he was just an early arrival from the band's party. I guess she just assumed he belonged there. 😠
🤣 🙏 🙏 🙏
How's it going? 😍
And he can even play at least two Slayer songs, I guess. 😍

The whole scene: I show up with this group of nine people, and the woman at the front desk tells me, "Oh, one of you already checked in." 😍
Me: 😕
Her: "Yes, yes, he arrived earlier with paperwork for Carnegie Hall and Hotel Dora."
Me: "No, all nine of us are right here. We just pulled up in the van."
Her: "But he did, someone came by separately earlier."
Me: NO!
Her: "Here, look at the name on the sheet: Nijemac."
Me: *sigh*. That has nothing to do with this reservation.
Her: "It does. He showed up with the Carnegie Hall papers, and now I don't have any single rooms left for you."
Me: 😠 😠 😠 😠 😠 🙂
Half an hour later, they were scrambling to rearrange some suites just so they could rent them out as single rooms.

I felt like I was back in a Rolls-Royce again 🙂
So, I ended up just hanging out outside the local dive bar for about half an hour because they were playing Stavros over there, and honestly, the lineup was way better than anything else going on. I couldn't even bring myself to go inside, though; the place was absolutely packed 🤷

It was alright... though it would have been much better if I hadn't shown up 40 minutes late for the headliner😢.
I was honestly expecting a lot more energy and jumping from the crowd🤷.
Instead, it felt like the performers were just cycling through one after another on stage🙏.
On a brighter note, I got to meet the guys from Ideku/Gajbrush👋 (hopefully I didn't ramble on too much about nonsense... sometimes a lack of drinks causes that)😳).
