Sonic Youth

But they haven't played these tracks in years! 😲

This one is from Los Angeles:

If only they'd added "the world looks red" to that set above... 😍

Damn, hell... 😲

I’ve been looking at other setlists lately and figured they’d always kick things off with three or four new tracks, giving me some extra time to get settled... 😢 but I'll be damned if I can miss Sonic Youth

Man, if they played Diamond Sea...

Are we talking about "Diamond Sea" and "Green Light"? 😲 🙂

Billboard charts... 🙏 All we need now is Brother James to step in as moderator... 🙂

Anyone looking to snag a single ticket for Day 1?
Decided to head down to the coast instead, so I’m definitely not making the trip back...

The ticket sales are about to kick off... 🙂

Day one was spent just watching from the VIP stage
Day two was pretty much the same, except I caught a slight uptick in the crowd cheering instead of actually vibing with Iggy Pop

😬

What on earth is Iggy Pop doing here? And what's all this about The Stooges?? Why even mention Happy Mondays with that unknown guy??? I could have just bought tickets in Miami instead! 😕unknown

And how am I supposed to get around Miami without a car.... 🙄

Hmm, is this some kind of dream setlist or what? According to their own site, the setlist from the show in America goes like this:

the world looks red
incinerate
reena
hey joni
do you believe in rapture?
what a waste
jams run free
100%
bull in the heather
rats
turquoise boy
pink steam

encore

trilogy (the wonder/hyperstation/eliminator jr)

2nd encore

shaking hell

I’ve got a bad feeling about this one—honestly, it feels almost too good to be true! 🙂

My apologies there. 😳 😳 😳

Looking for one or two tickets... hit me up via DM if you got 'em

Please... you can't possibly compare that to what Iggy brings to the table (especially after my experiences at Lollapalooza)...

total chaos

uh. 😳

So, is Iggy actually being a drag at his recent shows? What’s he even playing? Does anyone have a recent setlist? I need to know what I'm dancing to... 😁 .

I am seriously about to lose my mind from all this excitement😍 :kajmije: 😳

I am not particularly excited; rather, I am curious about how one might sneak onto the Amtrak 😳

Guys, when do we think they're actually dropping?

Can I bring a camera?

You can bring along a camera, though I’d suggest sticking to that tiny little digital one...

I'll be there in about thirty minutes. Since I already paid for my ticket, I'm going to go check everything out. 🙂

Carol Jackson45 said:Are we allowed to bring a camera?

From the festival website:
Prohibited items:
• Bringing professional cameras or video equipment is forbidden; recording is only permitted with prior authorization from the organizers.

So, a standard point-and-shoot should be fine. Hopefully? 😳

boldscout72 said:You can bring a camera, but just a small point-and-shoot kind of thing.

Alright, I've got a little point-and-shoot 😍

But the map says absolutely no recording equipment allowed. 👎
