It’s honestly pretty pathetic when you claim a song is one of your all-time favorites, only to find yourself wandering around after the show asking strangers if that was actually it 🙈

Anyway, I'm just glad she finally made it

Lee is the heart and soul of this band 🙂

And trust me, I am definitely not the only one thinking this...🙂

Megan Rodriguez44 said:p.s. Oh, she has no clue this is actually me—so don't you dare let it slip... if you catch my drift. To her, I'm just the old version of myself. 😁

p.p.s. Actually, I'm being ridiculous; she’d probably figure it out if she ever bothered to read anything about the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. 🤣 Anyway, fine, I won't write *that* much nonsense. 😁 Except for this p.s.

Look, even she doesn't know—it's going to be revelation day 😬

Mostly... some people (meaning me) showed up about five early to beat the voucher lines and stocked up on drink tickets for what turned out to be incredibly watered-down beer. Obviously didn't grab food since I planned to eat later—huge mistake 😵

TBF—three and a half people sitting on the grass just glancing around... zero atmosphere. They definitely booked them too early. I actually really like them and always enjoy their stuff... such a shame...

Roisin was incredible for me! So... I wasn't at Moloko's concert, so I can't say if her solo set is way worse... but I loved what I heard. The guys in the crowd especially noticed that tight white shirt she wore without a bra 😁 Played way too short if you ask me... though technically it was timed, plus she started 20 minutes late... vocals 🙏
Shame she didn't sing more old tracks... but then again, her new album isn't even out yet

Popped into the tent by Budweiser for a bit; the music was decent, but it was a total sauna in there, so I spent most of my time outside on those rocks

Now comes the waiting in line for food vouchers and then the queue for a grilled cheese sandwich🙄

Sonic Youth was great... gotta admit they aren't a band I listen to constantly... but I was blown away. An hour and a half of playing—respect
It’s happened before where I’m at a solo gig and the band plays for less than ninety minutes 🙄

Give me a break... 🙈

I spent the whole night last night telling everyone how much I loved it because it's one of my all-time faves, but I couldn't quite nail down the title—something like Mute... 🙈
And I even mentioned it's the last track on the A side of the original Goo cassette I still have sitting around... 🙈

Hey! I can actually manage to take the bracelet off and put it back on myself... it slides right over my wrist 😛
Everything was pretty terrible, I suppose, except for the SY sets which were excellent, though even then it wasn't exactly a blast. They hold up well, though; I have to give them credit.

I just grabbed a light beer. Of course, I didn't get any food since I'm planning on eating later—that would have been a huge mistake

I saw people actually paying money for food! Meanwhile, there I was, just standing in line.

I guess—why didn't you guys just grab a day pass for $5.00?

Before I could even finish saying, "Wait, let's just go to the kiosk, get a day pass, and pay right now," she had already grabbed the ticket from the machine 😁

But in the end, it didn't really make much difference 🙂

Anyway, where are the photos? 🙂

That’s kind of the trick—you grab the ticket from the kiosk, head inside so the people behind you aren't stuck waiting, then walk back over to the booth and swap the kiosk ticket for a full day pass. 🙂

Here's one photo; the rest are probably floating around online somewhere. 😉

🤣

I was stoked they played "Mote" too 😍 but honestly, I wasn't thrilled about missing out on the front row with everyone else—my friend gets pretty anxious in those massive crowds, and I couldn't just ditch her. It sucked.

The lines for the merch vouchers 🙏 were basically an hour-long slog waiting around 🙏

Ran into a huge group of friends I haven't seen in forever since Sonic Youth was playing 😍 😍 😍 The walk back home along the riverwalk was actually fine. Crashed from 1 to 4 AM 🙂

Why can't I go to concerts anymore?

And don't even get me started on the people stuck in the bathroom line when there’s literally a cluster of twenty portable toilets sitting right there with nobody using them 😵

Yeah, you're absolutely right, that's exactly how we handled things last time... 🙂
It seems like there might have been a typo in your message... I'm not quite sure what you meant to say. If you could clarify, I'd be happy to help... kaže:
My plans for today? I know exactly what they are—get some good food and enjoy a few drinks at home... 🙂

That was just how they settled on things... 😁 Nobody gives a damn about me... 🙄 Thirsty for more. For the next one...

They were actually quite impressive, even for someone like me who usually isn't a fan 🙂, especially with those colorful visuals. They were pretty solid.

However, the organization was an absolute disaster—it felt like something straight out of a crime movie. 🤮
