There goes that typical American reserve. 😈

They’re all idiots regardless if they don't tell you at the entrance. Even if he was told to just check the ticket.

Honestly, if your bracelet starts giving you trouble, you might just need to go out and grab a new one.

It’s just how things work in the American lifestyle.🤮

yay, lonegardener14 😬

The guy from Sidewalk was incredible. And Lee? Even better.

Honestly, they seemed thrilled with how the crowd responded—it was a fantastic set. I have no idea why anyone would claim the audience was lackluster.

I only had to wait about ten minutes for my vouchers, picking them up around 6:00 PM when things were actually quiet. yay.

What the hell? Where is that even implied? Seriously? Have I ever been to a music festival in my life? No. So how am I supposed to know if it's not actually written down!!!!

Besides, buying a ticket is basically like signing a contract, and a contract should have all the terms laid out—including this stuff about keeping your wristbands.

Adam Moore said:What on earth are you talking about? Where is this supposed to be implied? Huh? Have I ever attended a single music festival in my life? No. So how am I expected to know if it isn't explicitly stated!!!!

Furthermore, purchasing a ticket is functionally identical to signing a contract. A contract should clearly outline every single provision, including these rules regarding the retention of wristbands.

Go find someone who actually told you that just showing a ticket is enough, or go ahead and sue them all. Disgusting.
I empathize.

So, does a problem with the bracelet mean it actually snapped?

Seriously, where is the common sense? 😵

So, hypothetically speaking, let’s say your buddies make it inside, someone ends up tearing their wristband, and then one of those friends sends you a photo of the torn band along with their ticket. You go to the box office to complain, they hand you a fresh one, and you walk right in for free.

The whole point of the wristbands is to prevent exactly that kind of loophole.

We aren't living in some hyper-regulated utopia; you don't need to draw up a formal complaint for every little thing.

That’s all fine and dandy, but they really need to put that right on the ticket!

To make sure today goes much smoother, we’ve bumped up the number of stations from 11 yesterday to 18 today, expanded the actual food stands, and made sure the beverage booth near the Night stage stays open all day long.

I literally just rolled out of bed (I was out cold from 3 AM until 1 PM 😍), but I'll be there soon! Honestly, around 5 PM yesterday, the lines for vouchers weren't even that bad.

I'm trying to listen to The Hold Steady right now, but I've got Schizophrenia stuck on loop in my head... 😬

I actually thought I was running a fever yesterday (I definitely had one the day before!), and I was bracing myself for a rough, sweaty ride—but once I stepped outside, I realized it wasn't me, it was just insanely hot out there! Please, please tell me it isn't going to rain today!!! Today's strategy: backpack on, tiny umbrella tucked inside, and plenty of water smuggling 🙂

Does anyone happen to know how Iggy Pop usually wraps up his sets?

Common sense? COMMON SENSE?
Walking around with a cheap plastic wristband on for over 24 hours straight?
Some people actually have a problem with wearing jewelry on their wrists.
On top of that, there was zero mention of this on the ticket—not a single word about a wristband.

Enough already.

The staffer fastened my wristband so loosely that it practically slides right off my arm—no struggle at all. I walked back over to ask if they could tighten it up a bit.
"No way,"
But what if it just falls off?
"Then you won't be able to get in tomorrow,"
Can I just take it off and keep it in my bag?
"No, because security will kick you out if they catch you inside without it on your wrist."
So, what am I supposed to do?
"You can try, but if you lose it, you'll have to buy a whole new ticket tomorrow."

Yeah, had the exact same thought last night. 😍

😲 What a disaster. 😂

On point. That Sonic Youth set was incredible, honestly gorgeous 😍 😍 😍 missed out on the NY dolls because I went for beers first, then two guys tried teaching me how to make paper airplanes, then a bathroom break, then SY... And during the Obojen set, I was stuck in line for those damn vouchers. Whatever, grabbed them for today. Not like I plan on drinking much of that nasty beer anyway.

Am I the only one who found Happy Mondays boring? 🤔

Feeling a little hyped up today. 😳

Same here. I might just leave my wallet at the Dirty Old Band booth just to be safe—don't want to end up broke again :jeboihfrancescotottidaihjebo:

I'm fixing to hit ya... 😵 👋 🙈 🎉 🙂

brada_ZG said:Just a heads-up, those two or three festival merch booths selling shirts and stuff also sell drink vouchers. We checked yesterday, and most people didn't realize it, so there wasn't a single line at any of those stands the whole time.

Someone from the crew walked right through one of the side lines to tell the staff, and nobody cared. People are complaining about the long lines, then a friend of mine walks up to the merch booth, grabs her vouchers without waiting, and comes back to show everyone they can actually get them elsewhere. And still nothing. Everyone else just stays stuck in the same line, complaining about how crowded it is... along with about 100 other people.

🙂

Critics might argue someone should have actually flagged this somewhere, though I suppose the idea of whispering it to people one by one is a perfectly valid approach too 😳

Nicholas King62 said:wristbands exist specifically to prevent those kinds of messes.

I missed out on the Coachella VIP Experience last time, but I've heard people saying the festival passes used to be double-perforated... honestly, that’s way better than this whole wristband nonsense. Based on how many people are venting on this thread, clearly a ton of folks hate them—whether it's because they're trying to get to work or they just don't want to look like total clowns walking around town with them. In my book, they should have offered an alternative for anyone who didn't want one, instead of having those jerks at the gate rudely telling you it's "not their problem" if you take it off—basically threatening that you won't get back in the next day. 😳

Personally, I don't care—I've always wanted a wristband anyway. 🥳

At this rate, I'm hoping they make us wear dog collars next year. 😬

I really think the organizers dropped the ball by not offering wristbands in different colors. Let’s be real—neon orange isn't everyone's vibe, and half the crowd is probably going to rip those things off the second they get home. Plus, wearing such loud, obnoxious colors right after a major memorial service feels a bit much. 🙂Summer is over, people. Give us some neutrals—beige, lilac, mocha... anything else.

Quick question: can I use the drink vouchers I picked up on Monday to grab a beer on Tuesday? Are there specific vouchers for each day, or what? I'm asking because there’s zero info printed on them. There really should be!

Seriously guys, just chill out... 😘
