Upcoming concerts at IEEE for March

The lineup is significantly inferior to what the previous organizers put together. What’s the point? They’ll just hike up beer prices even more now that these names are involved.

When I hit up the club at night, a beer was $7, but during the day it was only $5... I wasn't exactly hitting the books much back then 😳

Back when I first started hitting the local bars, a single pint would set you back something like fifteen bucks—and I’m talking about a top-shelf craft brew, too... 😁 🧐 🙂 And honestly, regarding that whole debate over whether a college degree actually matters in this economy... erm... 🙈

Why on earth don't they bother cleaning the lines or performing regular maintenance on the tap system? It's basic hygiene!

The beer is actually better than it used to be, damn it. I’m not saying it’s GREAT, but it’s an improvement over what we had before. It's certainly better than drinking out of a swamp, and definitely better than the swill they serve at SC or Spiders.

Honestly, folks from the South should be pushing harder to get some good bourbon served in places like this. But no—it’s always beer this, beer that. It's just the same old thing over and over again.

Looking at those posters above just brings back memories, especially since I just pulled Laddio Bolocko and Kepone out from under my desk. I felt bad putting them on the wall without frames... those concerts were legendary back then...

Beer is beer, alright? People drink it, some of us actually enjoy it (sometimes way too early in the day...)
There’s nothing else besides the beer because the faculty (yeah, we're just a bunch of engineering students) isn't exactly thrilled about the idea...
The lineup is what it is. We don't have anything better. You don't have to show up to this one—you can just stay home and whine about how things used to be better. All I'm saying is we're a new crew, we're still finding our rhythm, and killer bands will come back, eventually... Give us a second... It takes time. We're working on it.

And the Traitors are LEGENDARY!!!!

I once knew a girl who walked into an IEEE mixer just looking for free drinks, and then had the nerve to ask if we were serving Corona. 😉
