How do I get rid of spam?

Lately, my inbox has been getting absolutely hammered with spam, and honestly, it’s driving me crazy!
It's everything from ads for Viagra and knockoff watches to random investment scams... I don't even bother reading them anymore.
I've been using Outlook with its junk mail filter, and I make sure to mark every single one as spam to block them, but the volume just keeps growing. I don't know what I did to deserve this constant barrage.
Does anyone have any advice on how to make this stop!? 😠

Which email provider are you using?
If you haven't enabled the spam filters provided by your service, I’d suggest doing that—just be careful with the settings so you don't accidentally block the important stuff.

I use a Gmail account and honestly, I get hit with over 100 spam emails a day—it’s just too much of a hassle to switch providers at this point. I just tweak my filters a bit and rely on SpamAssassin to handle the mess.

Can I use it to scan my computer, and if so, how? I’ve got some junk sitting on my PC right now that looks like spam, and I just can't seem to clear it out...

So, how exactly do you expect to vacuum up all that spam if you aren't allowed to touch it? I mean—where would you even start picking at it from?

I was thinking about how every single time I sit down to browse and launch Mozilla, I get hit with this pop-up trying to find me a soulmate first :kill :kill, and only then does the actual program load. Everything is running painfully slow and it’s driving me crazy, but honestly, I just don't have the heart to wipe Windows and start fresh because my computer is already packed with so much stuff.

You might want to try Norton, Malwarebytes, SpyFu, or even CrowdStrike Falcon; they all have free versions or trials that could help you clear this out, if luck is on your side.

Just kidding. But seriously, that's a different issue entirely; maybe try using Google to hunt down a specific utility for that. I haven't dealt with that particular glitch myself—you might want to try the tools I already mentioned earlier.
