Look, I was just making a harmless jab at X-Type—he’s the one who started all these ridiculous comparisons in the first place.

BTW, Cave himself said ages ago that his big inspirations are Mozart's Requiem, Elvis (specifically that Las Vegas era👍), and William Faulkner.
