Man, I used to pull for Jordan just because that yellow was so damn bright... talk about pure love. I don't think I've ever felt that kind of connection to a team since. ๐Ÿ˜ข

I absolutely love them. I even custom-painted my helmet to match that style Firman had with the target design!

The R26 is hands down the most stunning car ever built.

Does anyone happen to remember the name of that one Formula 1 team that popped up back in the mid-90s? If my memory serves me right, they only showed up for maybe two or three races before vanishing from the grid entirely. They were sponsored by a credit card company, and I distinctly remember them having a really striking color scheme on their car.

We're talking a 1.5L turbo pushing 1400hp, a manual gearbox, a clutch, and zero electronic crap or driver aids. Just a 540kg beast that's purely rear-wheel drive. Imagine trying to handle that in the rain.

Good grief, that is an eyesore. ๐Ÿคฎ

Seriously, please explain to meโ€”what makes this car look like the absolute best ever designed? And why on earth doesn't Formula 1 look anything like this anymore?๐Ÿคท

Take a look at these lines and tell me what you think:

Oh right... here's some more ugly ducks:

Seriously, please walk me through your logicโ€”how on earth is this supposed to be the best-looking car ever??? And if itโ€™s so great, why doesn't modern Formula 1 look anything like this at all???๐Ÿคท

Just take a look at these lines and tell me I'm wrong:

Oh, wait... let me show you some other absolute disasters:

I think she's probably talking about all those crazy wings, flaps, and various aero-nonsense that have basically turned Formula 1 into a sport where pure driver skill matters way less than it used to.

Those two modern ones just look ๐Ÿคฎ to me. Look at how gorgeous the old cars were, especially that Lotus ๐Ÿ˜. These current ones just look skinny, stretched out, and like they're made entirely out of cheap plastic.๐Ÿ™‚

Back in '83, we had the Brabham BT52.

Thatโ€™s exactly what Iโ€™m talking about. Iโ€™m positive on this because I was hinting at a specific big-name credit unionโ€”I just didn't want to drop the name and sound like I was running a commercial for them.
If my memory serves me right, they were actually the ones who pushed for much stricter entry requirements for Formula 1.

Those guys showed up for maybe two or three races and then just vanished into thin air, mostly because their performance on the track was honestly pretty pathetic.

What really caught my eye about them, though, was that bold color scheme they used; it kind of made them pop out from the rest of the field.

I did a little digging online, and it turns out that crew was actually running the Mastercard Lola T97/30.

If you ask meโ€”and I do have my preferencesโ€”those Williams cars from '96 and '97 were absolute works of art. And don't even get me started on the McLaren 98-00 era; they were stunning. Itโ€™s all thanks to the design work of Adrian Newey, isn't it?

Heโ€™s the best. Period.
OT: I still think the Ferrari and Virgin cars are the best-looking ones this season. Hands down. As for all-time greats? That 2006 Williams was the peak for me. Then youโ€™ve got that 1967 Lotus that just looks incredible, and honestly, I could go on about Tyrrell being top-tier any year they were on the grid. ๐Ÿ™

Hands down, my all-time favorite has to be the 1977 Wolf WR.
I managed to grab some footage this past weekend at the Red Bull Ring during the F1 Historic race.

I guess Iโ€™ve always felt that the Red Bull car is definitely the most beautiful one on the grid, though maybe Ferrari comes in a close second
