What a bunch of commercialized idiots. Everything sucks.

2. Jennifer Lopez, Jenny from the block.
(Someone needs to tear her apart.)

3. Shakira (that album with Whenever, Wherever...)

Since when were those albums actually good?🤔

Question for everyone here?
Overrated by whom, exactly?
Is it the critics, the general public, or just some other group altogether???

But am I not allowed to have an honest opinion?

Give me a break. I’m just saying you sounded like you were looking for a fight.

Nah, you don't. Thank God that rule only applies in your own little universe.

Personally, I think The Rolling Stones are massively overrated. Sure, they’ve got a handful of solid tracks, but when you look at their massive catalog, it’d be weirder if they didn't have at least a few decent moments. Honestly, there are countless bands out there that blow them out of the water, both in the studio and when they hit the stage.

Hands down the most overhyped band in history:

The Rolling Stones.

One of the most overrated albums out there—MBV’s Loveless.

Daydream Nation isn't much better.

And JAMC... they really hit the spot back when they did that little Sandoval thing... a few weeks ago. That was real mainstream indie music. Warm... actual feelings... but this stuff they're playing now? Just pure alienation.

How long can this go on?

Why on earth would you say that? 😲Personally, I find Isn't anything far superior, though still...

I guess we can all agree that Mars Volta is absolute perfection, while Franz Ferdinand is just straight-up mediocre😁 👋

Loveless.. it's such heavy, awful garbage it's actually impressive how bad it is..
any mediocre Spacemen 3 record beats it.

I didn't listen to much Loveless, but whenever I tried, I’d practically die of boredom by the third track. I've never actually sat down with Spacemen 3, but Ride... man, Ride. 😍

I seriously get an allergic reaction just hearing anyone bring up those first two Pink Floyd drug-fueled disasters. It’s enough to make me break out in hives.

Honestly, all this constant worshiping of him? It’s probably going to give me liver failure.

New Order is such an overrated band. Seriously.

Preach. Nicholas Perez33 is probably gonna come for my throat, but I don't care—they're garbage to me. Same goes for anything by Belle and Sebastian.

And there's one band I wouldn't even call overrated, just straight-up top-tier trash that somehow stays glued to every single chart, whether it's critics or the people's choice : Eagles. 🙄

Agree.
The Doors are absolute trash to me—though, fine, "Touch Me" is a gem. 😍

Technically, those three were decent musicians, but I view Jim Morrison as one of the most irritating phenomena in music history.

As Lester Bangs puts it in *Almost Famous*: "Jim Morrison? A drunk who's tryin' to be a poet."

And then there's Dire Straits—a band I truly cannot fathom how anyone actually listens to, let alone a massive audience. 🙂

Honestly, no matter how hard I try to wrap my head around them, I just find Pink Floyd to be incredibly monotonous and boring 👎
