To me, the track feels like the very opening moments of Computerlove by Kraftwerk, but it doesn't quite go anywhere after that... it just sort of drags on. 😁

Anyway, I wouldn't say they're boring, they just aren't really my thing.

Look, even Placebo did a cover of Where is my Mind , but that doesn't change the reality of the situation—I still wouldn't want them anywhere near me, man... 😁

Ugh, honestly, Coldplay is just so overrated... I have no idea why I’m even wasting an entire post talking about them... 😕

Coldplay just played their new set at the Dallas venue here while I was stuck listening to some seriously subpar music playing in the corner of the shop... man, it was such a drag. Honestly, this stuff was even more mind-numbing than the last set, and that one wasn't exactly thrilling either. I actually ended up asking the lady working the counter to turn it off, and since I've got that certain charm, she just did it without a second thought...

Honestly, that one's a vibe too. 👍

Maybe it's just the nostalgia talking. I used to blast it to keep myself sane whenever college was absolutely wrecking me. 😁

Uh... I've actually got don't Panic playing right now... though I'm thinking about switching it off. 😁

... looks like everyone is wasting their precious time obsessing over Coldplay...

Anyway, "When you try your best but you don't succeeeeeeed" is basically a description of how things go down here:

Crazy Frog: "Ba ding ding ding ding di di ding ding bah bahbedayyyyyyyyyyy."

Honestly, kid, you clearly have no idea what actually makes music good. 😁 😁 😁

Sorry, ma'am, I totally get it... being young is just so hard, isn't it? I'm basically counting down the days until I hit old age so I can finally spend all my time being an absolute nuisance to you youngsters. Lucky you guys.

Frank Howard79 said:So, I was at this local diner in Dallas today listening to the new Coldplay album playing over the speakers, and honestly, man, I was just sitting there scrolling through some terrible music recommendations while the tunes played, and god, it was just so incredibly dull. Like, it was even more boring than their last stuff, and that wasn't exactly a high bar to clear, you know? I actually ended up asking the lady working the counter to please turn it off, and since I guess I have that kind of presence—or maybe she just felt bad for me—she just did it without saying a word.

It’s kinda funny how much people born in '75, 🙂 '77, or '78 seem to find Coldplay so tedious... I mean, we're basically just waiting for someone from '76 to chime in at this point, which probably feels like some kind of cosmic curse or something. 🙂

Well, obviously she listened because you’re older than her, I mean, come on.🙂1977.

I don't see how that even matters. 🙄

Just listen to Pulp and shut up. 😁

Easy for Coldplay to say. You aren't even a fan of Radiohead. 🙂 🙂 🙂

And you were born in '83, too. 😢

Daniel Sullivan352 said:All we need now is someone from 1976 to show up—clearly some kind of conspiracy at this point.🙂

Exactly!

Just so we're clear, I'm pretty sure there are actual plagues out there worse than Coldplay. Like, take Sajeta, for example. 🙂

Yeah, but that's their only common ground. 🤣

Btw, I wouldn't go that far. They're boring, sure, but at least they listen. There are plenty of bigger nightmares out there than them.
