I haven't tried Dermacil myself. I’m curious if anyone else here has. Check out this site www.bioclinica.hr and search for "Dermacil." Supposedly, it works.
Right now, I only have patches on my elbows. Before? It was a nightmare. I had a 10cm patch around my navel, half my arms covered, and issues in sensitive areas. DISASTROUS. Then a friend of mine, who deals with psoriasis too, took me out to Oakhurst in California to see a specialist named Jukopila. He’s a herbalist. I bought an ointment from him. It costs $167 and comes in this little box, like you're buying jewelry. After a month, everything cleared up. Unbelievable. Now it's just a little bit on my elbows, but this stuff handles it. It's great. I'm heading back there this weekend. You don't get much volume, but you only need a tiny amount. It's the first thing that actually worked for me, and I know several others it helped. There's something about natural remedies—plus, he's easy to talk to.
It’s worth a shot. I searched everywhere for a solution, even all the way in Canada. The doctor there just kept pushing corticosteroids.

Greetings from the US! Please forgive my clumsy English, I'm still working on it, 🙏
Just like many of you, I've been struggling with psoriasis. Last year, when things were at their absolute worst, some newer treatments arrived here in the States, like Remicade, Enbrel, and Humira.
Since I was dealing with one of the most severe cases around, they actually put me on Humira injections. If you're curious about how effective these medications have been, you can check out the details at this link:
http://www.freewebs.com/psoriasis-humira
The site shows how my skin looked before my first injection back in 2006, and then tracks the progress after 3, 11, 20, and finally 27 injections. In the most recent photos, you can see that the psoriasis has flared up again, though—hopefully, you'll notice—she's still about 90% better than she was originally.
If anyone has questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them.

On a side note, I really need to send my best to my friends over on Long Island in Sali 👍 :klap: 🙂
If they happen to be reading this, I'm sure they'll know exactly who's sending their love.
I truly hope this medication becomes available here in America soon. 👍 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

In my personal opinion, you guys are wasting way too much time and energy on something that’s just keeping things exactly as they are, while completely ignoring—or refusing to see—other options that are actually out there.
But hey, everyone's got the freedom to choose how they want to handle it.

Best,

Best,

So what other solutions are we supposed to look into besides creams, pills, and sitting in the sun?...😕 We'd all be thrilled if we could just get rid of these awful spots for good!!!!! I've been dealing with this for about 10 years, and things have only just started looking up for me! Best wishes...

New members should really take the time to scroll through the previous pages (ideally all the way back to the beginning, or at least as much as possible).
That’s exactly what I did when I first joined this forum.
It helps you get a feel for everyone here—who they are, what their vibe is, and what kind of experience they actually have.
You'll see everyone else's stories, both the good and the bad, which makes it easier for you to decide who to listen to and who to ignore.

Here’s the deal with what I’ve picked up about psoriasis so far: there isn't just one version of this thing, which means you can't just throw the same treatment at everyone and expect miracles. And honestly? Anyone out there claiming they’re totally "cured" is just blowing smoke, because let’s face it, that’s just not where we are yet. What *is* actually doable is managing the flare-ups through all sorts of stuff—everything from creams, lotions, oils, and ointments to UVB light therapy or even those specialized fish treatments. But here’s the kicker: everyone reacts differently. Just because some specific remedy worked wonders for one person doesn't mean it'll do squat for you, right? You’ve basically got to try the whole spectrum and see what sticks, while keeping in mind that your personal win might be someone else's total bust.

You can try telling me that, and I could tell you the same thing up until about fifteen days ago, before I witnessed it firsthand with someone I’ve known personally for twenty years...
If you happen to be in Washington, D.C., and wouldn't mind buying a round of drinks 🤣 , I might even be able to introduce you to him...

Do you actually have psoriasis?

How exactly are you treating it?

Well, I apply some white salve occasionally during the summer months, though most of the time I don't do anything at all 😬. It’s quite visible, but there isn't much I can do about it... I even have some patches on my head now. I seem to apply Eglonil 🙄 to those after I wash my hair...

Last year, I tried using a certain cream based on cocoa butter, olive oil, and aloe vera that was recommended to me, and I used it consistently for two months. Honestly, it made everything look even worse. While it looks nice and white currently, it eventually turns this sickly color, almost like raw organ meat 🤣. In short, it was a complete waste of time...

Last year, I used a cream someone recommended—something based on cocoa butter, olive oil, and aloe vera—for about two months. It actually made things look worse. Instead of this clean white appearance, it turns a shade resembling raw meat 🤣. Not worth the trouble,

Well, since the area is relatively small, using white salve shouldn't cause any harm...
Have you tried Psorcutan ointment? I’d suggest looking into it 👍

The only issue is that you have to order it from overseas, and it's quite expensive 🙄. But since it's just on your elbows, it should last you a long time

Timothy Jackson6 said:From what I've gathered about psoriasis, there isn't just one type. You can't treat them all the same way. Also, anyone claiming they've found a total CURE is just lying to people; that's just not happening yet. What *is* possible is managing the condition through various means—creams, lotions, oils, ointments, naphtha, or other aids, up to UVB light therapy or even specialized fish treatments. But every treatment hits everyone differently. Just because something worked for one person doesn't mean it'll work for someone else. That’s just not how it works. You have to try different things and decide what helps you most, but don't expect a universal fix for everyone with psoriasis.

That’s just your personal take. My point is that you won't even consider other solutions because you've already decided they won't work for you.
If you actually look through the pages on this forum, you'll see plenty of people sharing experiences that are completely different from yours, also based on their own personal history.

I'm currently under a ban and a final warning from the moderators. I have to be extremely careful about following the rules here so I don't get kicked off, which is why my writing might seem "unclear" or blunt. That's just the situation I'm dealing with.

I am inclined to agree with Michael Ramos3 that psoriasis can actually be cured—I have witnessed it with my own eyes, after all... though I remain skeptical regarding his claim that it can remedy absolutely everything. Still, if this approach works for even 30% of the population (which, mind you, would require rigorous scientific proof, though I wonder who would undertake such a task, how, or even where...), then that is certainly significant. There seems to be a curious phenomenon where the condition clears from treated skin as if one were simply curing an infection (???), yet it persists on untreated areas, which effectively dismantles any theories suggesting the root cause lies within the bloodstream.
But enough rambling; I am going to try out that cream from that lady down in El Paso, and we shall see how it goes...

On a side note, I attempted to call Michael Ramos3's father on his cell phone about two months ago, but after ten days of trying, I had no luck at all.🤣 It all started to feel far too complicated, so I eventually just threw in the towel. Michael Ramos3, you really must simplify this process. Why on earth should I have to contact someone else besides you? It should be simple: I call you, you tell me the price, you send the cream along with the instructions via bus or train, I wait for the bus to arrive, the conductor hands me the cream, I give him the cash, and the matter is settled...

I want to apologize if I said anything silly earlier; I suppose I was just thinking about how psoriasis doesn't care about where someone comes from. It can strike anyone, regardless of age—someone could be sick for one year or fifty. My intention was simply to share my own experiences with psoriasis and newer treatments like Humira. I've been dealing with psoriasis for 50 years now, and for the last 17 years, I've been on disability. I have tried almost everything you all have: steroids, PUVA, UVB, Tigason, Neotigason, Methotrexate, Medrol, and basically every option out there. When Humira became available, it actually helped me during my worst times. Please don't take this as an advertisement; I'm just sharing what worked for me, even though availability for this medication varies here in America.
Once again, please forgive me if I came across the wrong way.
Best wishes to everyone!🙂

I’m scrolling through all these new posts and reading about everyone's experiences every single day. Welcome to all the new folks joining us!
Regarding my own situation—to be totally honest—things definitely improved once I started using the oils recommended by Emergance. I felt better, for sure, and the scaling and buildup on my skin finally cleared up. So, thanks for the tips there.
However, the ointment from Izlečenov was the real game-changer for me. It actually tackled the root of the problem. If things stay this way, I am more than happy. Out of the 60-70% of my skin that was originally affected, I’m down to just 5-10 tiny little spots now—they look like nothing more than mosquito bites. I’m still applying the ointment to those spots, even though they're barely noticeable at this point.
I completely get why everyone is being so cautious; I’ve been let down by so many things myself. And I totally understand the urge to rush the process—believe me, I’m just as impatient as anyone else—but honestly, what’s two months of a new routine compared to the years I've spent dealing with this?
I truly believe this ointment could help a lot of you just like it helped me. Just hang in there, stay persistent, and do what you gotta do to take care of yourselves!
A huge thank you to Izlečenov, and my best to his whole family!
Cheers to everyone on the forum!

Regarding my own situation, it's true that my condition improved after using oils similar to what Emergance recommends. I felt better, though the surface area didn't actually shrink. My skin was clear of buildup and flaking. I appreciate the advice.
However, the ointment from Izlečenov truly solved my issue on a massive scale. If things stay this way, I couldn't be more satisfied. Out of the 60-70% of skin originally affected, I now have only 5-10 tiny spots left (about the size of mosquito bites). I’m still treating them with the ointment, even though they're barely noticeable now.
I understand why everyone is being cautious; I've been let down many times myself. I also get the impatience, as I'm the same way, but what is two months of a new therapy compared to all the years I've struggled...
I believe this ointment could help many people just as it helped me. Be persistent, be patient, and take care of yourselves.
A huge thank you to Izlečenov, and my best to his entire family!
Best regards to everyone on the forum!

I am glad to hear you are feeling better.👍

Please keep us updated on how things look once you stop using the ointment...👍

Hey there,
I just got back from my trip to the coast. Things are looking up slightly—the scabs on my arms and head have finally cleared up—but my legs are still just as bad and the itching is driving me absolutely insane. 😠
Like someone else mentioned, I’m starting to get really anxious about autumn hitting. If that happens, I'll be stuck in this endless cycle. Reading all your stories about miraculous recoveries gives me hope, even if I’m nowhere near that point yet. It’s good to know progress is actually possible. I’m thinking about trying some naphtha treatments this spring.
