If there weren't guns involved, this would feel like nothing more than a list of hypothetical scenarios from a PDF F1 meetup. It’s hardly surprising we don't host those types of gatherings. 🤣🤣
I was absolutely floored by that ochre-colored coin. I didn't even fully process it at first because I was reading it on the fly, but once I went back to take a second look, I couldn't stop laughing.

- So, let me get this straight—you don't know a single thing about breaking that lowlife out of jail, huh? the sheriff barked angrily.
- Nope. We just came by for a drink. - darkmarlin16 replied, totally deadpan.
- A drink... please. - Nathan Jones98 spat on the floor with pure disgust.
- Seriously, what part of that isn't clear?! - darkmarlin16 wondered aloud.
- Alright, fine. But what about that train robbery last week over in Tamburel? You're clueless about that too? - William Bennett53 pressed him.
- What train? - darkmarlin16 asked, just shrugging his shoulders.
- The one carrying the railroad payroll and some gold coins belonging to Mr. The End. - the sheriff explained.
- I have no idea what you're talking about! - darkmarlin16 snapped back.
- Then explain this. I found this gold coin right next to your horse outside the saloon! - the sheriff yelled, slamming the darkmarlin16 coin down on the table before standing up in a rage.
- Wait, this is a gold coin? - darkmarlin16 asked, squinting at the coin.
- You know what, Sheriff? Just give me five minutes alone with him. Just five minutes... - Nathan Jones98 pleaded, barely holding back his temper.
- Look, I'm just saying, this doesn't look like gold to me. It's not gold-colored, it's more like an ochre shade... - darkmarlin16 insisted, completely convinced he was right.
- He is playing us all for fools! - Clark commented with a cynical laugh.
- Oh, really? It's not ochre to you? Honestly, does anyone here actually have working eyes or...
BAM!!!
Nathan Jones98 channeled all that pent-up rage into a right hook, catching darkmarlin16 square in the face. The guy just collapsed onto the floor along with his chair, while the coin rolled across the wooden floor toward the bar, slowed down, spun twice, and stopped.
Just then, steelmaker83 burst into the saloon like he was running from the devil himself.
- They're coming... they're coming to hang darkmarlin16! - he managed to gasp out, completely out of breath.

When the chase broke out across the ridge overlooking the canyon, it was quite the sight. A massive cloud of dust gfggfgove gang trailed behind as they galloped toward Eau Rouge, with the boss falling further and further behind. Down south, Pila was riding hard after Tamburelo, while about two miles ahead, Mazgoon came barreling toward him with a mail coach and an Apache escort.
"Ugh, damn. Now tell me there's nothing living in this canyon," said stormybadger8 as he adjusted himself in the saddle.
"Way, what’s the move?" shadowhawk24 asked, fixing his hat.
(Now they're at Terry Carter2 to decide who goes where...)
Options are to split the posse or have everyone head toward, say, Pila. Alternatively, they could send just one—only one—member back to Paddington for reinforcements.
Meanwhile, over in Tamburelo , right as they entered the Bassanac saloon, someone was nailing a bounty poster to the wooden wall. It read: "WANTED: JASON CAMPBELL, DEAD OR ALIVE, REWARD $100".
A stranger stepped up to the bounty and ripped it down in one smooth motion.
"What the hell..." Bassanac muttered, turning around.
"Oh, uh... excuse me, sir, I thought you were... you know, kids and all..." he stammered, stepping backward.
Then his eyes went wide. The sound of a Colt being cocked hit his ears. Two shots fired at his feet, sending him into a frantic dance before he bolted down the street. The stranger watched the bounty for a moment, then lit a cigarette, staring blankly. After pinning the paper back to the wall, he sighed, mounted his horse, and trotted away. Bjesomar stepped out of the saloon, watching the stranger leave. Then he looked at the poster: "WANTED: JASON CAMPBELL, ... OR ALIVE, REWARD $100".

I should merely mention that graniteharbor502 possesses Native American heritage, which is a detail of significant importance to the narrative.

Who says you're the villain here? Perhaps you're merely an innocent victim of a smear campaign and relentless persecution...

A total villain at first glance, perhaps. But in your soul? A saint and a good person. 😁

I mean, obviously he isn't some massive villain if the prize is only $100...🤷
The real question is whether it's even worth chasing him given how pathetic the payout is...
Hell, that wouldn't even cover a decent burger, let alone anything else.😳

U Paddock citizens led by sukKi, rossie, Mirko and coastaldrifter6 had occupied the saloon entrance, calling for the sheriff to hand over Maminh. Things were looking grim—especially since sukKi was blaming Maminh for the loss of her beloved Mark, who never made it back from a high-speed chase.
- Hand him over!!! Hang him!!! - the crazed mob screamed.
- Ugh, looks like there's about 20 of them... - Clark noted, peering through the window.
- As long as I'm the sheriff in this town, nobody gets hanging without a fair trial! - William Bennett53 said firmly, heading for the doors.
- Clark, get over here and help me with chubby Clara! - Nathan Jones98 shouted, opening the pantry door for Clark .
- Beautiful... - Clark whispered, moving toward the pantry.
- You and Pat drag this poor soul up to the floor. - the sheriff told steelmaker83, pointing at the unconscious Maminh.
Stepping out before the crowd, the shouting and protest stopped for a split second. But as soon as the sheriff tried to ask everyone to disperse peacefully, a volley of whistles erupted alongside angry jeers. coastaldrifter6 even lunged forward, trying to storm the saloon and ignoring the sheriff entirely, but he was sent right back into the crowd by a well-aimed strike from a rifle butt.
- Step aside, Sheriff, or you'll end up just like darkmarlin16! - sukKi raged.
- Come on, guys! They won't have the guts to shoot us! - rossie yelled, charging toward the entrance.
- Hajdemoooo!!! - the mob bellowed.
Suddenly, bullets started whistling over the heads of the angry crowd, sending them scattering instinctively. Nathan Jones98 was frantically cranking the Gatling gun mounted at the window while Clark helped him. Chubby Clara let the whole volley rip. Then, suddenly, the street went dead silent.

I’m putting myself forward as a social worker to look after darkmarlin16—maybe then I can actually get included in this whole conversation.
#59 ·
Oh right, now I need to include everyone who has even posted a single time on this subforum.
The main characters of the forum should also be the main characters of the story. Hmm...vice versa does that hold up?
Fine, you can just be some minor, insignificant extra.

I'm trying to get all the active PDF F1 members included. Just be patient...
@ Jason Campbell70, I’ve got a solid follow-up ready, just waiting on Way to make a call! 😉
