The moonlight was washing over the prairie, where the Apache riders were charging frantically under the lead of Megan Jones3. You could barely make out the war paint on the faces of Leslie Eldridge and Partfish, but their eyes said everything. Raising a hand, Megan Jones3 halted the Apache group, while a young Cherokee scout slid off his horse and pressed his ear to the dirt.

"Three or four of them..." he whispered to Megan Jones3, his face still pressed against the ground.
"Over there... toward Tamburel..." he added.

Looking toward Tamburel, the chief Megan Jones3 straightened up, then shifted his gaze toward Padock, where the sky was bleeding red. Further off, near Eau Rouge, the small glow of a camp fire caught his eye.

(Here's your play, Chief Megan Jones3. You can head toward Tamburel via TBF, Paskaneman, the mobbers, and FilipomR5. Option two is Padock, which is currently going up in flames, or a third option: gfggfg's gang getting caught in the blaze exiting Eau Rouge.)

Meanwhile, the fire at Padock was starting to spiral out of control.

(Dorian g, Nathan Jones98, Clark, Pat, and 4season, the choice is yours. Everyone decides for themselves—though William Bennett53 and Pat need to stick together. All paths are open, so I won't limit your options.)

As things started heating up on the prairie, bounty hunter Kimi#1 buckled his belt, adjusted his hat, and stepped out into the street. He pulled on a pair of thin leather gloves as he headed toward the saloon, his spurs jingling in a steady rhythm against his boots...

I think I’ll respond by quoting my favorite line from Three War Havoc:
"He says he's defending his city. And anyone who doesn't defend their city for them is a coward."

The festivities might be winding down, but I still believe there’s a duty to defend the paddock—not just from the literal flames, but from the influence of big corporate interests like IBM, who likely hold significant stakes over at John Doe.🤣🤣

For the moment, yes, though I'm already making arrangements to bring in some new girls from another city if we ever need extra hands. I'll just have to check with John Doe to see which location he's thinking of if he plans on adding another spot to the mix. 😁

And just to be clear, my ladies aren't exactly "workers"—they are more like gentlewomen who choose to dedicate their time to weary, brave men, helping them forget about death and danger for a while so they can find the strength and spirit to face the next battle. 🥳

John Doe!!! — the guy’s lost his mind. Megan Jones3...turning my horse toward the city.
"Did you hear that?!" he stopped. IBM Listening to the night.
"They're just coyotes..." he muttered. mobberzg Staring into the lights— John Doe What was that flickering in the distance?
"And honestly, this guy could've been talking nonsense too," he added. John Doe Watching the wounded. John Doe
"For crying out loud, coyotes... just stop!" he yelled. IBM Listening to the night.

The sound of John Doe was growing louder—like distant thunder rolling in.

"John Doe!!!" he shouted. IBMNow, all I can see are those racing silhouettes under the moonlight.
"Faster!" he shouted. mobberzg I don't know what you're trying to get at with that—it's pretty much nonsense. John Doe Pulling his Winchester from the saddlebags, he grabbed the horse.

The four of them just bolted toward... John DoeJohn Doe and his crew have kicked off their absolute madness—they're out for blood. This isn't just a race anymore; it's a fight to the death. John Doe It’s getting harder to stay balanced in the saddle—I'm starting to lag behind the pack.

During that stretch, walking down Main Street... John DoeEight was just cruising along at a steady pace. The End Co. People start heading toward the lounge. Seeing that, rustydrifter10 I sent my girls home. According to the salon, he was coming from the opposite direction and— Kimi#1.

So, the boss said that— Microsoft "Can we get him there alive?" — he asked. John Doe John Doe
Look, I’m only saying this once—stay alive, alright? —he told the group. John Doe Just as they were pulling up to the salon—
- Does that mean we can actually hurt him? - just a thought. John Doe...as he was getting off his horse.
"Shut up and watch," he snapped back. John Doe Tying up my horse.

The group stormed into the saloon like they owned the place. There was the sheriff sitting right there behind the bar. John Doe He approached me. He just gave a quick hand signal to the substitutes—basically telling them to stay out of it. Unknown He grabbed him by the vest. Bob MarleyHe kicked the piano player out—straight into the street—then took his seat, stretching his legs out with total indifference. As for the rest of the crowd in the saloon? They didn't wait around—they scrambled for the exits faster than you can blink. John Doe, stefandelic, karlinho1 and John Doe They sat down at the tables—drinks left untouched. ja5 He leaned against the bar, just watching the subs—nothing more, nothing less. John Doe Just stayed right in the middle of the room. Came from the side street. Saw He was heading toward the saloon—desperate for a drink.

Stepping out onto the saloon porch, John Doe met John Doe's stare. With a sudden, cat-like agility, he lunged into the street, rolled, popped back up, and sprinted full tilt toward John Doe's brothel. John Doe burst through the doors with the sheriff and shadowstag10 hot on his heels. The End Co.'s crowd exchanged confused glances for a split second before erupting into delirious laughter. Saw was already at the brothel entrance when John Doe fired—but the bullet just bit into the wooden wall. John Doe screamed, sprinting back toward the saloon. Once inside the brothel, John Doe drew his Colt and headed for the stairs. Hearing the shot, Kimi#1 pulled his pistols and ran toward the building. John Doe approached the exit, watching the chaos unfold. With an ironic smirk, he turned to the crowd, gesturing for them to move toward Microsoft. However, Edward Howard2 was already standing on the steps, Colts in hand.

- It’s hardly polite to make such a racket. You're insulting me as a guest of your town... - he began.
- So, I’ll ask you nicely to vacate the saloon—with a decent compensation, of course. - he finished, pausing on the third step.
- Ha... ha-ha-ha!!! - John Doe was the first to laugh, and then the rest joined in.
- You, since you started laughing first... you're my first target. - Edward Howard2 said coldly, leveling his pistol at John Doe.
- Then those two standing, and then the ones sitting, because they'll take a little longer to go down... - he continued, pointing his gun at every single target he mentioned.
- Finally, I'll leave the guy in the corner by the piano, Unknown. He might have enough time to fire back... but by then, he'll probably have wet himself from fear, so even if he does shoot, he'll surely miss... - Edward Howard2 concluded his speech while staring at the stunned faces of The End Co.'s people
. - Still... if any of you is smart enough to head for the door, I promise I won't shoot you in the back. And... bartender, I suggest you duck. - he added, simultaneously cocking his revolvers.
- Tell your mother to duck! - Rain snapped.

For a moment or two, everyone just stared. Then, a gunshot from outside triggered a chain reaction. Bang, bang, bang... bang, bang, bang, bang... bang... pew, bang!

"Hey—wait!" he yelled at the top of his lungs.

No. Edward Howard2 He just kept walking steadily, moving further away from the station. All he could hear was the sound of tension— I don't know what you're trying to get at with that—just being vague isn't much of a conversation starter. Colta made him stop.

"How much are you paying these losers?" he asked. Edward Howard2 The End He turned his back.
"Dollar... maybe two a day... depends..." — he stopped mid-sentence. The End Nah, he didn't even manage to finish the sentence.

Edward Howard2 He spun around lightning-fast—two shots fired. sajko boba He didn't even have time to react. Damn them all, what a complete disaster, and the paramedics haven't even arrived yet... 🤣🤣🤣

Anyway, it’s perfectly in Rain's style to just keep pouring whiskey after such a total mess. 🙏
As far as her appearance goes, that's exactly how I pictured her visually. 😍
But Maminho's older one was a complete surprise to me as well. 🙏 🙏

Saw is running for the hills. 🤣 🙏

Megan Jones3 said:We could just scalp him. Since his nationality has already been swapped, why not change his gender too? At least then everything would be consistent with his name. John Doe, aka John Doe—the first hermaphrodite of the Wild West. He should work in a brothel dressed as a woman, so when Microsoft stumbles upon him and his hot dog, he loses his mind and tears the whole place apart. 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁

Look, if there has to be a trans prostitute in a brothel, wouldn't it be better if, instead of Microsoft killing her, one of the heroes realized this was a golden opportunity for his own backside? He could get exactly what he's attracted to while still maintaining his persona as a straight shooter. Or even a homophobe.

The street swelled with people hungry for life, all while the two newly appointed deputies, flanked by the Sheriff, made their way down the block under a barrage of curious stares.

I wonder if I will end up teaming up with the sheriff. 😬

I suppose I've developed a bit of an interest in him. 😍 🤣

I suspect the gentlemen would find a warm bath quite agreeable; after all, the responsibilities of a Vice President can be incredibly taxing. rustydrifter10
Unfortunately, these guys might be able to get the better of you. Just observing."... he concluded, turning back toward the saloon," the sheriff said.

Whaaaaaat?
I suppose it’s possible they became impotent following some skirmish in the past. 😁

I’m genuinely looking forward to the new installments. Are we planning on causing some trouble in the paddock—assuming we don't head out toward Nashville first?
Is it just a coincidence that among all those girls, we ended up with the moderator from the religion group?
And where on earth did the Native Americans go?

You see... it’s just fate. 😁

Don't be so impatient; just wait until the guys with the long barrels roll into town.
As rustydrifter10 so eloquently put it, if you're only looking at the ones with short barrels, you're missing out on the real show.
