For your homework, just look up some Grand Prix results and see how many times Sebastian Vettel finished ahead of him. Check out his miserable face back then versus how he looks today.

It won't be hard to find a Grand Prix where the German beat the guy from the States. 🤣

Now, just imagine if the maestro said that with his thick Spanish accent.

🙂

His English is pretty rough, too. I'll pass. 😁

I think you're obsessing over Alonso way too much when there's a much bigger elephant in the room: those tires.

Honestly, I’m losing interest in following this sport. It used to be classy. Now? It's just sad.

A complete fraud. A leech. A total scavenger.

The level of discourse here is truly impressive. 🙂

Honestly, Lujo is absolutely killing it right now—I am counting down the days until the Grand Prix in Germany.
That Mercedes win really shakes things up, doesn't it? It brings a whole new energy to the championship.

What, does it hurt when someone insults your Alonso? Ever wonder how people feel reading your posts about Sebastian Vettel?

Don't dish it out if you can't take it. ☕

Man, they’re showing the kerbs at Silverstone now—it’s pretty obvious those things were absolutely shredding the tires.

It really looks like they've been made way too aggressive.

It's true, we definitely let our passions get the better of us.

Look, I’m not saying he didn't absolutely destroy him. But it wouldn't have been nearly as impressive if Kimi Räikkönen actually had the pace to fight back. It’s like bragging about taking down a guy with one leg just because you ran a faster lap than someone hopping on one foot.🤷

Ferrari is basically a dumpster fire compared to Red Bull and this version of Mercedes (who looks like they finally actually sorted their act together during the break). Maybe it’s got something to do with what Fred Vasseur is up to? ☕

Given how much negativity you’re bringing to this thread, you clearly think pretty highly of yourself. No wonder. ☕

Don't even start with that nonsense—Ferrari actually has the best race pace on the grid. They're easily 2 seconds faster than Red Bull and Mercedes, maybe even 3 if you're counting.

I'm not saying Ferrari is perfect, but if Red Bull and Mercedes were actually better, we'd be seeing it.

What a disaster we saw from Massa today. He’s just driving like a maniac. I know Alonso needs the best car on the grid if he ever wants to win a championship.
I'm sorry, but I don't recognize that term. Could you clarify what you mean? kaže:
I think you're overthinking the whole Alonso situation. Honestly, the elephant in the room is the tires.

I have to admit, I’m losing interest in following this sport. It used to feel like it had some soul, but now? It's just sad.

It’s not just the tires. The whole sport is turning into a mess because they keep piling on these ridiculous rules that just strip away everything that made F1 great in the first place.

Keep your chin up. I bet Ferrari will schedule some private testing this Wednesday out in Arizona or maybe Texas—whatever suits their needs best—just to try and patch things up. They'll probably use an older chassis from earlier this year just so it doesn't look too suspicious to the public...

Correction—it's obvious Mercedes got their act together during those tests in Barcelona.

1522:

BBC F1 technical expert Gary Anderson headed out to Turn 4 at the Silverstone Circuit—the exact spot where all those tire issues popped up during the weekend. Here’s the breakdown of his findings...

Gary Anderson: "Everyone's been talking about Turn 4 all day, so we decided to get eyes on the ground to figure out what's actually causing these punctures. If you look at the section just inside the kerb, it looks green—almost like it’s meant to blend in with the grass—but it’s actually solid concrete. When the cars clip this part, the sidewall of the tire might be catching on a sharp edge of the kerb; it sits right at the same height where we saw those tires getting sliced and shredded."

Red Bull Racing has a slightly better car—though nothing crazy was obvious in Spain—but Mercedes-Benz hasn't had a better car until this race.

The previous races all showed that. You have to look at the full race distance, not just one qualifying lap.

Yeah, just like I said.
