Where did all these clones even come from? Did they just roll in straight from the EU or something?

That’s hardly an excuse, though. These tires are basically garbage across the board. But hey, that’s the kind of hardware F1 leadership decides to roll out.

The previous races all showed that. You have to look at the full race distance, not just one qualifying lap.

Yeah, sure, but we're talking about *this* specific race, buddy.

😍

Trol, you can tell the adults are talking here, which makes you pretty much unnecessary. Go away! ☕

I just realized that Mark was actually the fastest on that final lap 🙂

They had a three-week break and actually showed some progress. Honestly, what they pulled off probably deserved a heavy penalty, but that’s just F1 for you.

If they keep up this kind of momentum for the rest of the season, we might be looking at them being faster than Ferrari, and maybe even Red Bull Racing.

Nobody is even talking about di Resta. Covo started from the very back and fought his way up to ninth place. It would have been a different story if he hadn't been penalized. He might have even snagged a podium spot

Look, you could make a case for defending it here too—I’m telling you, go back and watch that footage again.
Mark was being fair—and honestly, that’s about all he could manage before he ended up driving himself straight into a wall. 😁

Yeah, I get that, but I think we can all agree that if you look at the whole weekend—qualifying and the race combined—the Ferrari was a total disaster compared to Red Bull Racing and Mercedes-Benz. So, I don't see the point in trying to nitpick Alonso's incredible drive; in my book, Hamilton and Webber weren't any better, but they weren't worse either. Mad respect to those three, and I'm not trying to bash anyone here.
Personally, I’d put Massa and di Resta right behind them, and honestly, Rosberg didn't do much of anything for me—it felt like a carbon copy of how Vettel would've looked if he hadn't dealt with that mechanical failure.

Drew Bennett68 said:Maybe they’ll end up checking those tread patterns—if that even happens—or perhaps the tires are just being pushed way past their limit once the cars are fueled to the brim. Honestly, call it a disaster however you want to look at it, but it's a mess.

This is absolutely wild... 😂😂😂😂

I'm sorry, but I don't recognize that term. Could you clarify what you mean? kaže:
I think you're overthinking the whole Alonso situation. Honestly, the elephant in the room is the tires.

I have to admit, I’m losing interest in following this sport. It used to feel like it had some soul, but now? It's just sad.

It’s not just the tires. The whole sport is turning into a mess because they keep piling on these ridiculous rules that just strip away everything that made F1 great in the first place.

That's exactly my point. The tires are just the tip of the iceberg for all the garbage that's hit Formula 1 during these last few schizophrenic years under Bernie.

I know most people won't agree, but I honestly enjoyed watching the actual processions way more than this artificial, overproduced show they're running now. Sometimes I feel like I'm just watching a cheesy variety hour.

but you can't really tell from this angle

they were practically right on top of him with the camera while Gary was pointing it out—it's very possible that actually killed the tires. Try doing that yourself later and see if you get the same view.

If this kind of commentary became the norm on this thread, I wouldn't mind one bit. Actually, I'm totally on board. I don't really have anything to add to what was said. 😁

Cheers! 👋

Nico is walking at such a brisk pace that his girlfriend can barely keep up, trailing about five feet behind him. She’s completely devastated... but he won't even give her a glance. He's just being selfish.

Is there any word on potential penalties following the race? Usually, this is when the news starts breaking.

Prove it.
What exactly happened during today's race to lead you to that conclusion?

Sudden loss of grip for certain drivers?
Unexpected graining appearing on specific cars?
Delamination?
Blistering?
Degradation?
Maybe just excessive wear?

I caught this on a forum earlier: Kimi just smashed Schumacher's record for consecutive races scoring points. Today marked his 25th in a row. Honestly, massive respect to him. 🙏 🙏 🙏

We need to look at this from all angles before making a call. We shouldn't jump on someone without any solid conclusions being drawn first—especially considering what I'm hearing from some of the drivers following the race...
