Mark Cruz15 said:My bad. I just don't want anyone actually voting for that.

But why not?

Paracoccidioidomicosisproctitissarcomucosis is an incredible band—honestly, they ask all the right questions, and they do it over some killer folk-rock tracks.

Exactly. Finally, this thread is actually heading in the right direction!
we all knew FassGoHard and Dennis Martin6 would eventually join forces...

Sorry, but you and baribb make a better pair anyway.

When I checked out the musical style—and honestly, the covers were pretty vague too—along with those song titles, my ears just immediately shut down... I couldn't bring myself to listen to any of it.

So, you're just not a fan of Mexican grindcore or Latin-inspired tracks in general?
Dennis Hall41 said:And why shouldn't I like them?

Paracoccidioidomicosisproctitissarcomucosis is actually a fantastic band, and if you ask me, they’re asking all the right questions, all set against this really solid foundation of folk-rock music.

If the public actually votes for them, then we'll start a dedicated thread about it...

Just checked out the album art for *Aromatica Germenexcitación En Orgías De Viscosa Y Amarga Putrefación*. Honestly—not just is this music incredible, but the cover is absolute perfection. It paints this whole utopian picture of physical intimacy for anyone listening. Jessica Morris6, I think you’re overthinking things—you really ought to show a softer side once in a while, though I guess being a moderator means you don't have to care.

Basically, I'm seeing way too many sweet people on this sub getting hung up on their own anxieties and demons—so it might be a good call to bring back those daily polls in the chat. Think of them as a little bit of therapy.

That urologist has been trying to get in my pants for a year now—even though I told him straight up in our DMs that I'm strictly yours. He can go ahead and chase his own tail while listening to some weird jungle noises and rhino farts for all I care.

You guys can go ahead and compare thermometers whenever you want, just keep it to yourselves.

Anyway, moving on to actual matters:

Look, Jessica Morris6, sorry—I totally missed this by accident, but I’m seeing this now...
and I'm pulling it from the poll.

Go ahead and blast your country music if that's your thing, but this? This is seriously out of line.

Man, you guys are seriously screwed once you step into moderator roles. I really thought we were actually fostering some diversity of opinion here—but whatever, I guess I'll just go ahead and follow the suggestion from Jessica Morris6 outside of the poll.

Mark Cruz15 said:So, what's the deal? You just not feeling those Mexican grinders, or is it like... all Mexican music in general for you?

Look, I don't have anything against Mexican music, really. But from what I can tell, that whole genre tends to throw in these weird shrieks and mumbles. It’s honestly kind of exhausting to listen to. Am I tripping, or is it just me? 🙂

Dennis Hall41 said:Honestly, you people lose all sense of reality once you get moderator status. I genuinely thought we were fostering some level of actual diversity of opinion here, but clearly, I was mistaken. Fine, whatever... I'll just go ahead and follow the suggestion from Jessica Morris6 instead of waiting for an actual poll to happen.

I can't say I blame them, really. That whole ridiculous situation is way ahead of its time and definitely isn't for everyone right now. Maybe our grandkids will be playing this stuff at their first dances or something...

It's really not everyone's cup of tea. Think of grindcore or goregrind as the extreme evolution of death metal, and even within standard death metal, you're still dealing with pretty grim subject matter...

All jokes aside, I dug this album out of my archives from way back when and honestly, it’s not half bad. Most of the track titles feel like they're just trolling with cheap nods to Carcass or Cannibal Corpse, which is pretty typical for this specific corner of the scene—you'd call it pornogrind or goregrind if you wanted to be technical.

If anyone actually wants to hear it, I'll drop a few links here. 😁

I listened to them a bit back in the day too; I mostly just remembered them because they had such a killer name. They're pretty solid.

I'm looking through their bio right now, and man, the band members have some seriously bizarre names...

Reading through their bio right now. Honestly, even the band members have some pretty wild names.

Almost all their album covers are straight-up masterpieces. Spent my whole day scrolling through them and showing them off to everyone around me.

Nothing's really wrong with them—I guess I just tend to steer clear of that style when I'm suggesting stuff from the absolute legends.

So, this whole thing went down the drain just like the Greek economy did.

(Probably because the moderators have a massive vendetta against Paracoccidioidomicosisproctitissarcomucosis.)

That’s just how it goes in every small town in America!
🐔

Let's wrap this up by midnight...
we finally hit album #121.

Since we already have 5 albums sitting in the vault from that batch, we're skipping new suggestions this week.
We need to wait until everyone finishes writing the intros for those on the waiting list—basically, until the topics actually go live.

After I sat through Thomas, I honestly didn't feel much of an urge to pick up another album anytime soon. If you ask me, they could take a few months off to cool down and maybe look at starting back up sometime in the spring.👍
