Good grief, we aren't monsters. Go deal with your problems, but let's be real: the garbage mods cannot just be two people who are virtually invisible because they have zero free time, overseen by a single admin. I have no idea how anyone expected the system to function like that in the first place.

but honestly, nobody’s actually out here causing trouble. I mean, if someone posts a massive image and gets hit with a red flag, they’re gonna think twice about how big the next one is. It's the same deal with any other violation or "stunt."

Just like my colleague Brandon Lopez6 was saying—we’re talking about literally just two active threads where maybe 10 to 15 posts drop in per day. Managing those topics takes, what, five minutes? Seriously, how is that a job that even three moderators can't handle? I mean, come on...🤷

First off, I really feel for the position you're in right now. But we've reached a point where nobody in charge actually seems able to moderate effectively. You don't have the bandwidth, Simplica (if I recall correctly) is busy with a newborn so her time is limited, and the admins are, predictably, always tied up with more pressing matters... As a result, the PDF is the one paying the price.

If they were to bring on two new moderators, I think that would actually make a difference. At the end of the day, it's obvious that the same handful of people are always the ones reporting posts. This whole mess could probably be settled by bringing in some fresh blood; new moderators could just send private messages asking people to stop off-topic rambling or to actually read the rules. You give them a warning first, then an official strike if they persist, and the problem is solved.

If any part of this is incoherent, my apologies—I've been battling the flu for three days straight and can barely keep my eyes open.

Look, let's set aside the fact that nobody is actually throwing a tantrum right now—it's more that people have simply reached their breaking point because of how everything unfolded after that last thread and those massive announcements; but, fine, let's assume you're right for a second.

Let's say, hypothetically, that swapping out the current moderators—Jet and his crew—for two or three new ones doesn't actually change a single thing. The whole forum falls apart, everything descends into total chaos, and it's just pure misery everywhere...

Don't you see that this would actually be a perfect scenario for the administration? Once and for all, they could eliminate every possible complaint about one thing or another, and maybe—just maybe—garbage wouldn't even show up on the PŽK in this entire century.

So, it’s still not entirely clear why they haven't just done it already. Or perhaps... it is? 😁

I mean, damn, you're the moderator here. It’s on you to be the one holding the line. If someone's out there breaking the rules on purpose, you're supposed to step in and give them a warning or a penalty every single time. If you aren't consistent, everyone else starts thinking, "Well, if they can get away with it, why can't I?" It's just how it goes.

So, what's your big solution then? You gotta see this whole PDF setup makes zero sense. Anarchy sounds great on paper, but in reality? Not so much.😢

Every single time there’s talk about moderating the garbage section, you swoop in—either to troll or launch some half-baked ad hominem attack.
Nobody is targeting you personally; people are just fed up because there aren't any active mods. You could have simply said, "Hey, I've got other commitments that the admins are aware of," and called it a day. But no—first you start throwing pots and pans, then you accuse the current crew of ruining the PDF... so I'll ask again: who do you think you are? Can you actually tell the difference between criticism and an attack?

Criticism is: there are currently no active mods on the garbage board, and we need someone to step up because I am sick to death of reading the chat on the garbage sub-forum—both from the regulars and the newbies. It's exhausting watching the old guard try to explain basic etiquette to the newcomers, while the newcomers just pick fights with them. I see all this play out in the threads because no mod is stepping in to delete posts or warn people against linking profiles of minors and such; meanwhile, the veterans are just trying to keep the thread alive since they can only issue warnings rather than actually scrubbing the filth...

An attack is: Chans is a useless moderator who doesn't understand the garbage section well enough to know which end is up. Your attempt to massacre the thread just to protect that little clique from the "skinny dipping" topic, along with the obvious trolling you allowed from that one old guy, was one of the worst moderation calls I've seen in my six years on this forum. Honestly, even Ty's standard move—letting a thread spiral into trolling just so he can lock it with a "you guys clearly don't know how to hold a conversation" line—is five times better than what you pulled that day (okay, fine, ten times better, but don't tell Ty, because he knows exactly what I think of his moderation under the PŽK back in 😉)

See the distinction? Look, I'm sorry you're dealing with health issues. I actually think you're a decent mod, but you haven't really made your mark on the garbage section (well, not at all, but let's be generous). I'm not demanding you be removed—this forum has always had names on the roster who only moderate once in a blue moon. If you love the garbage section and want to mod it, go ahead; I don't care if they keep you. However, the garbage section needs an *active* moderator—someone to clean up the nonsense and start new threads. Someone active in every sense of the word. By the way, where are Azra and Kov? If it's truly going to be such a massive catastrophe to recruit someone new for the role, maybe someone should put a shotgun to the heads of Azra, Kov, or Vajli and see who caves first 😍
