Lisa Davis46 said:I’m thinking along the same lines—I honestly don't know how to wrap my head around this whole Radiohead thing.
But I probably shouldn't push it... wouldn't want my colleague mimma to start hating me. 😁

And '69... man, that year was something else. Captain should be right up there at the top, just like Nick Drake.

Not being subjective at all 😁

Regarding '69, you guys pretty much covered it, though I’d just add that Woodstock happened that year too. So, if you ask me, maybe it was actually the most significant year in the history of rock.

Not really. 😁

But honestly, I feel like The Beatles are (way too often) overrated. 🙄
Though, I guess 'Abbey Road' might be their best album...

So, looking back at that list Anderlon posted at the start of this thread, the top four spots are just The Beatles, then Radiohead, then The Beatles again, then Radiohead... 😁 And fifth place? You guessed it—The Beatles.

Just saying... 😛

Honestly, the way The Beatles get on my nerves is actually insane. Someone else mentioned Radiohead earlier, and don't even get me started on that whole indie rock wave that took over everything back in the 2000s.

We really need to start a thread where we can just rip into terrible music without everyone taking it personally.😁

Jason Mendoza said:Hey guys, I was thinking... we should probably start a thread where we can just vent about music we absolutely hate, but let's keep it chill so nobody takes it personally! Just a fun way to talk about the stuff that drives us crazy... without the drama! 😁

Got it! Music reviews... 🙂

I think we should start a thread where we can talk about music we absolutely hate—but let's try to keep it civil so nobody takes it personally. 😁

Maybe there's something to this. styleWhat's even worse—they’re actually out there commenting on it too. 😁

Great topic, honestly just asking for people to pile on and hate. 😁

Hey everyone, my bad... I'll have the topic up tomorrow at the latest.

Look, you guys know I don't usually drag out the intros, but I just haven't had the time. Plus, we still don't have a theme for the 60th album, and since Baribb vanished into thin air with no sign of coming back anytime soon... I guess it’s officially my job to cover Perfume Genius and his album from last year: inconnu! 🎉

So, yeah.

As for next week... everything will be back to normal on Thursday. 🙂

I’m really digging The Mountain Goats right now. I've already got them on my second listen...

I've actually never listened to them myself, though I know a few people who are obsessed.
Jason White17, which albums should I start with to get into them?
🙂

And please, throw some more suggestions my way... 🍿

I really wanted to suggest Ifčet, he was my only choice—but then I realized the full album isn't even on YouTube. Honestly, thank god because Goca bend totally hits everything I look for in top-tier American music.🙏

Ugh. 😁

Hey, Dennis Hall41, since you're hanging around, why don't you suggest something? It's pretty obvious this thread is dying out...
