siamak aghaei/colin jacsen - ascending bird

I finally gave it a listen and man, I am hooked! I ACTUALLY LISTENED TO IT! It takes me right back to... 😍

Stigmata

It’ll be Elliot's turn eventually.

And this one too. 😁

You know your music. Period. 🙂

Laughter isn't always a sign of joy—sometimes it's just a reaction to the absurdity of it all. 🙄 😬

Is this from one of those novels again? — I'm pretty sure I saw his comment floating around Facebook last week where he dropped a link to Amadeus.

For the optimists—perhaps?

Man, this Angel Olsen stuff is actually pretty good—I can't even remember who first told me about her, but I’ll probably catch her set at the local arena!

Edit: oh man, Deva is killing it! I am seriously craving a night out on the dance floor right now😁

That Angel Olsen stuff is actually pretty good—not sure who originally put her on my radar, but we’ll probably run into her at the local arena.

Edit: man, Deva makes me want to move. I have this sudden, intense urge to go out dancing.😁

Honestly, I dig this. They play her on NPR all the time, though it never quite clicked for me before.

Heh, that's exactly why Deva hits the spot.

Is this some kind of thing Roman posted again? I'm pretty sure I caught his comment on Facebook last week where he dropped a link to Amadeus.

Hahaha! Honestly, I could eat Roman for breakfast.

I feel like I’ve officially listened to every single track by JJ Cale available on YouTube. But then, Mr. YouTube himself decided to drop this gem in my recommendations— Deodato. It is absolutely perfect for putting on in the background while I'm reading... 🙂

I finally stumbled upon Ian Dury’s son, Mr. Baxter, yesterday—check out I'm Not Your Dog 😲
I am absolutely loving this track!

😁 Why do people say they'll eat someone for breakfast? I usually have a pretty substantial breakfast myself. 🤔

This is colorful and excellent. 😁

Free Love Freeway

Women and Fury Vol. 2:

This girl is going places—way further than she is now—and this video is honestly one of the best takes I've seen on cultural barriers in relationships:

Total favorite of mine from the last few years—hands down. When I first heard this track, I honestly couldn't believe how much one song could actually convey.
