Emily Patel70 said:Honestly, those symptoms sound like textbook anxiety to me. And hey, looking at what you described, maybe the thyroid is acting up too? It might be smartest to just start there 🤷

People love to get hyper-fixated on one single diagnosis and then try to blame everything on it.

Besides checking the thyroid—yeah, I'm with you there—you should probably get an EKG done too.

brightwalker32, the silver lining here is that you aren't facing anything life-threatening, which is what Brandon Newman95, Ladybug, and Jacob Sullivan91 were all picking up on—it really just looks like some heightened anxiety and depression. It’s nothing catastrophic or scary, and honestly, isn't it a blessing that we live in an age where you can just hop online and educate yourself about what's going on? So, try to keep your focus on those specific diagnoses without letting them overwhelm you. There's nothing strange, crazy, or shameful about this; if it makes you feel any better, there are hundreds of much more severe and dangerous conditions out there that people deal with every day.

So, just take a deep breath and keep moving forward.
If I were in your shoes, my best advice would be to shake things up and make a radical change in your routine—maybe pick up a new sport, dive into a hobby, start researching something fascinating, or even just commit to some intense daily walks to get your heart rate up. Is there anything more satisfying than pushing yourself physically until you're completely wiped out, playing around like a kid, feeling that total release, taking a hot shower, and then finally drifting off to sleep?
Trust me, it works wonders.

Ladybug, this is exactly my point: In this piece, Pfizer gets totally exposed because they basically stepped on the toes of the big players. They were this relatively new, small player that was aggressively threatening the market share of giants like Pfizer, Niagara Falls, and Johnson & Johnson.
And honestly, the same thing is happening today. These massive corporations pull these moves all the time—I actually had a friend of mine who is a doctor confirm it; he admitted it to me personally. Now, look, doctors might not be getting a direct kickback for every single injection of Torecan, but I’d bet my life they get some kind of quarterly bonus from Niagara Falls if they hit certain targets for Torecan or other specific products. Just read that article closely; it details exactly how doctors were being "rewarded." That's how the machine works. I'm not out here spinning conspiracy theories; I'm just trying to find a logical explanation for why medicine seems to involve such excessive prescribing in general. This explains everything for me. It's a global issue, really.

As for me, the tachycardia started right after I took Torecan. My EKG came back perfectly fine. My cardiologist sent me to get a Holter monitor, so I'll get that done. Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with my heart; I think it's the Torecan itself. If this were caused by depression, I'd be crying for a whole rainy season straight. Before Torecan, I was practically weeping constant streams of tears due to depression. Now? I can barely squeeze out a tiny tear when I need to. Most of the time, the tears just well up in my eyes and get stuck there. It wasn't like this before. On top of that, I've lost all sensation in my genital area, which I am certain isn't from depression or anxiety—it's caused total sexual dysfunction. If people actually lost physical sensation like that just from being depressed or anxious, humanity would have gone extinct ages ago.

Living with brain damage like this... it just feels senseless. Honestly, things weren't exactly easy before I started Torecan; I was already dealing with the fallout from AD. Back then, I could still function, you know? I could live a relatively normal life. But now? Everything has spiraled a thousand times over. It’s safe to say my life has been completely derailed. Just because an injury isn't visible on the surface doesn't mean it isn't there, slamming into you every single day. People tend to multiply our struggles by zero. They look at us and insist we're perfectly fine, telling us we should just "be happy," as if they have even the slightest clue about the hell we're walking through. There are people out there who have reached their breaking point with this kind of damage and simply couldn't go on.

This picture captures my situation perfectly. Honestly, the absolute worst part is when someone looks at me and says, "Oh, you look fine!" Like, excuse me? My medical history isn't exactly written in bold letters on my forehead!!!

Look, you just don't want to admit it. These are all symptoms. If you’re actually worried, go get an EKG or something. And keep an eye on your potassium levels. People have gotten better from this stuff before. If your life were truly hanging by a thread, you wouldn't be sitting here typing on a forum. Seriously. I used to be pretty active, doing sports for fun and everything. If your life were really on the line, you'd be in the ER right now struggling to breathe or choking on a cough. I honestly don't get why you're questioning whether you should finish college or get married. Just... go find yourself a really solid psychologist or therapist. Any kind of damage would show up on a brain scan or some other organ test. I'm telling you this from my own personal experience.

Look, you didn't just pick that med up while taking a casual stroll through downtown... you were at the ER for a reason. You ended up in the emergency room because something was actually wrong.

Honestly? If I were you, I’d go find a solid psychiatrist and maybe—just maybe—stop falling down those crazy conspiracy theory rabbit holes... 🤷

Pise says she was panicking. That I shouldn't have nagged her and that I didn't jump to conclusions myself regarding certain things (like how high blood pressure might be what caused the brain damage seen on the scans).

I’m going to dig up some research that clearly shows this damage. I need people to actually believe me here. Honestly, my heart is the bigger concern right now. I’d much rather deal with a physical issue than have to worry about whether Allstate is cutting corners. Sometimes my heart just starts racing out of nowhere—imagine if I had to sprint to the ER every single time that happens! And if they put me back on Torecan, I might just keel over right then and there. Look, I'm not out here pushing conspiracy theories. This is based on the Hippocrates scandal, which was easily one of the biggest healthcare disasters in American history (you can read more about that mess here: Believe me, if we started digging into what other big pharma companies are hiding, we’d find even bigger scandals.

This article is about the Hippocrates scandal, which was easily the biggest healthcare scandal in American history (here's another one on it: There are probably even bigger scandals waiting to be uncovered from other big pharma companies.

Look, stop trying to play doctor. Take it from me—this is genuine advice. Just leave it to the professionals who actually deal with being sick. I'm talking about someone who has literally been hovering on the edge between life and death. Seriously. I didn't give a damn about "side effects" back then. I was just freaking relieved whenever I could actually catch a breath. When water—meaning fluid, obviously—was basically flooding my lungs and my heart. I was just so happy to be able to breathe. You have no idea what that feeling is like, and honestly, it probably left some kind of mark on my brain. Go find yourself a good psychiatrist or psychologist. And you know what else? In my case, it turned out to be a hidden congenital heart defect, but everything is visible now.

I am truly sorry to hear about your illness and everything you've been forced to endure.

It feels like those of us suffering from chemical brain damage—the official diagnosis being Toxic Encephalopathy, per the 2019 ICD-10-CM Diagnosis Code G92—are just expected to fade away because the American healthcare system simply refuses to pay attention. I belong to a Facebook group where people have been hit by this exact issue; we’re talking dozens of deaths and thousands more living with permanent brain damage. Most of them have been completely brushed off by doctors, while the rest of the world tries to insist it's all just "in their heads." If you want to understand what this damage actually entails, take a look at this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neurotoxicity

It’s pretty obvious that those of us suffering from chemical brain damage—the actual medical diagnosis is Toxic Encephalopathy, 2019 ICD-10-CM Diagnosis Code G92—caused by certain "medications," are just supposed to be left to rot because the American healthcare system completely ignores us. The only reason I'm even bringing this up is because if we don't speak up while there's still something visible left to fight with, nothing is ever going to change.

Are you seriously suggesting that my "invisible" injury is somehow going to endanger people who are dealing with obvious, visible issues?

brightwalker32 said:I already had some mild brain damage from chemical exposure (symptoms included: partial emotional numbness, sexual dysfunction, cognitive issues, tinnitus, occasional insomnia, and trouble regulating body temp). Then, at the ER, they just gave me Torecan without even asking me—which I absolutely did not want. Since then, my life has been a living hell. It’s been two months now. This second hit made my condition a thousand times worse. That first week, I could barely talk, eat, or walk. I got past that part. But now? I’ve got almost total emotional numbness (which has basically ruined my life), complete sexual dysfunction, even worse cognitive decline, worsening tinnitus, shallow sleep plus even worse insomnia, chronic fatigue, dysautonomia (racing heart and issues sweating), partial loss of skin sensation, diminished sense of smell and taste, and more frequent vision issues. With my initial damage, I could still live a decent life despite the bad days. After this second hit, my life is destroyed. I'm only 23. I had so many plans for the future, from finishing school to getting married, and now I'm just trying to survive and I don't know if I can. I can't stop asking "why me."

So, what do you actually do for a living?🤔
Look, I had big plans too, and honestly, we all do...
And since you're acting like such an expert by searching up all the negatives online (like for different medications and stuff), why don't you try being smart and Google the positives for once?
Where are your parents in all of this? Your family?
To me, this sounds like a massive case of depression, which isn't something you fix by using Google...

Look, just go see a doctor 🙂 and get some actual help instead of coming on here to trash talk everyone else to make yourself feel better.

I used to be a student. Now? Well, I don't even do that anymore because my brain has been absolutely wrecked by "medication." Most doctors out there are just looking out for their own interests. And no, I’m not self-diagnosing via Google—there isn't a doctor in existence who can fix the damage I've sustained! Honestly, thank God I managed to Google the types of drugs they administer in the ER before things went too far. I found a site with a full list. If I had just recognized the extrapyramidal side effects back then, I would have known it was an antipsychotic, and I never would have let them inject that stuff into my system. Oh, if only I’d had the sense to Google it sooner. My life would be so much better right now. No, listen to me: this isn't depression. Depression doesn't cause you to be unable to cry, to feel emotionally numb, to suffer from sexual dysfunction, to have your thoughts block up, or to deal with massive memory loss. I don't know why you're defending Torecan so fiercely, but I’d gladly give you my current condition for just one month, and then you could see what real misery looks like. Just imagine: your libido is completely dead, you have almost no emotions left, your cognitive abilities are shattered, you forget everything, and you aren't even 24 yet—you have the rest of your life to live like this! And to top it off, if you actually complain, people try to convince you it’s just depression and tell you to go for a jog . Instead of saying "thank you" for warning you about Torecan, you're acting like I shouldn't have warned you. Gross. Truly disgusting. I'd load you up with Torecan myself. Three injections a day until you end up exactly where I am (because one shot probably wouldn't touch you if your neurological system is healthy). Then we'll see how much you defend Torecan. Would you call it depression then, or brain damage? And just so you know, Torecan has been pulled from most parts of the world! It's only used in a handful of Eastern European countries. Even Mexico got rid of that garbage, that poison. In my neck of the woods, it was pulled under a different brand name. You simply cannot use Torecan long-term; it destroys even healthy people. It’s mostly used as a one-off in the ER under the assumption that no one will notice the fallout from a single shot. But here I am, with my entire life ruined by the very profession meant to save lives and help people. The place that should have been the safest—the hospital—became the most dangerous place on earth. Doctors have sold their souls to Big Pharma, pumping their toxins into people just for a paycheck. Good luck to all of them. They destroyed my precious life. And instead of standing together to fight this, people just trample over the victims. They mock our suffering, telling us it's just depression and that we should go for a run , conveniently forgetting that they or someone they love could easily end up in our shoes. If that were the case, it would be quite the "depression" that gets cured by jogging . I really wonder how you’d react if a doctor walked up to you with a syringe of Torecan after reading this . I highly doubt you'd be sitting there thinking, "The doctors know what they're doing," and letting them jab you.

Those are all classic symptoms of depression. Do yourself a favor and do two things first: take a psych test and get an MRI. The results will be identical. People dealing with serious illnesses actually study and move forward; they don't go looking for excuses. Also, if you reject any medication at the ER—unless you're allergic—you'll get paperwork for refusing treatment. Everything is digitally linked now. And don't act surprised next time when you go to the doctor and she mentions you filed a complaint against her. Since you didn't mention any permanent damage, don't go pointing fingers at everyone else; look at yourself. You're simply unhappy with your life. I had big plans once too, but things didn't turn out the way I wanted. You took one injection, and now you're making this whole drama out of it. I’d love to ask you how you'd feel if you were hovering between life and death, struggling to breathe because of cancer or something, and you refused three or four shots of something vital. Think about how many young people, kids, etc., are fighting cancers right now.

How on earth was I supposed to know what I was getting into by April!? It’s tragic when someone is battling cancer, truly, but personally, that doesn't change my situation one bit. Under US patient rights laws, they actually should have consulted me before administering that injection. If they had just asked, this whole mess would never have happened. Even if I were the picture of perfect health, I still wouldn't have signed up for an injection like that—people need to be given a choice beforehand. Everyone on this forum is staying silent, too. They’re just stepping over your struggle without a second thought. Honestly, it’s no wonder the healthcare system is such a disaster and why we feel like we're being screwed from every angle when people act like this. And does anyone even bother to ask why Torecan was pulled from most of the global market, or why it's still only used in a handful of Eastern European countries? Or why here, it was withdrawn in favor of a more expensive alternative? Meanwhile, the standard stuff for dizziness and nausea is something everyone is constantly reaching for.
