How do I download Photoshop?

So, whenever I head over to grab that Photoshop and Lightroom bundle, it keeps telling me it's unavailable in the US and that I need to track down some local distributor here. What is that even supposed to mean, and how am I actually supposed to pull this off??

Honestly, in America, everything feels like it's marked up way higher than anywhere else (I think maybe there's a tiny 1% exception somewhere, but whatever), so I don't see any reason why software would be any different. It just isn't possible.

Nah, Adobe isn't going to sell you that here in the States; they really push you toward those local subscriptions instead.

Man, if I did it by the book, it would probably cost me about $267 a year, but this way it’s $3,000. That is a massive gap.

It really all depends on how you plan to use it. If it’s just sitting at home for your own personal projects, nobody is going to bother you. But if you’re using it for business? I wouldn’t mess around with that... the penalties can be pretty massive.

If you’re running code at home, you aren't going to run into any trouble because we still have net neutrality out here in the States (unlike when some corporate inspector decides to come sniffing around your office). Honestly, if I had actually paid full price for everything I own legally, half the neighborhood would probably be under a mortgage right now.
