I was just wondering what Dietrich would decide... turns out he made the right call.

Like there was even any point in overthinking this...

Honestly, even the folks at Red Bull Racing can't make a fair comparison between the old and new specs if they give it to Max. They have zero clue how much faster Max could be with that old PU...
With Ricciardo, it’s a totally different story since they actually have all the data on how Ricciardo handled the same track last year...

I'm calling it now: either Vettel or Kimi takes the win 😁
the real question is which Ferrari driver is going to screw up the race more 😬

But honestly, one of them should pull it off. They're my two favorites, and it’s pretty cool that they're the ones who actually won in Monaco on this exact date 😁

In all honesty, even the engineers at Red Bull Racing can't make a legitimate comparison between the old and new specs if they hand them to Max Verstappen. They simply can't be certain what his baseline would actually be using the old PU...

With Ricciardo, the situation is entirely different because they actually have the data on how Ricciardo performed on this exact same track last year...

Then again... that's why...

Look, the deal was already set in stone way before we even hit FC Barcelona—Daniel Ricciardo was definitely getting that new power unit for Monaco.

Honestly, Red Bull Racing is absolutely dominating right now... they could easily pull off a victory here... if Ricciardo can find that extra bit of pace, I think... 🙂

Unknown...🙂

What did I say? Ferrari is a joke—not only are they trailing behind Red Bull, but they’re actually falling behind their own junior team, Toro Rosso, who they basically sell last year's Power Unit to...🤣 Sebastian Vettel hits the barrier twice—it’s absolute chaos out there—and Kimi is still sitting right ahead of him in the standings...😁

Maybe you should focus on getting McLaren to actually beat Mercedes in Monaco instead...

Look, I'll be the first to admit—McLaren is still pretty mediocre right now. But what’s happening over at Ferrari? That's just an absolute embarrassment. They’ve completely trashed everything they actually built up last year... honestly, it’s a good thing Fernando Alonso got out while he could.

it’s really just a matter of which Ferrari driver messes up the race more. 😬

Does anyone have any fresh links for the Sky Sports stream? Or more generally, does anyone have anything working for qualifying and the race? Please, someone help me out here—the quality on my flash drive is absolute garbage, and that old Sky Sports link died ages ago. 😢

Seriously, what is going on with Ferrari? How can they be this underwhelming? 🤦

Way to go, Ricciardo! 🙏🙏

He's only 0.2 sec off Schumacher's record ☕

Bravo, Ricciardo! 🙏🙏

He finished just 0.2 seconds behind Schumacher's record... ☕

Ferrari has shifted its entire focus toward developing the car for the 2017 season, which explains why... 🙂

It truly comes down to how much work people put into their training sessions, doesn't it? Though I must admit, Red Bull Racing looks quite impressive out on the track lately.
There is some quiet whispering going on regarding potential manipulations involving tire pressure, specifically involving one team from the top tier and another sitting somewhere in the middle of the pack—and no, I am certainly not referring to Ferrari or McLaren 😬 .

There are whispers going around about some clever maneuvering regarding tire pressure involving one top-tier team and one mid-field team (and no, it isn't Ferrari or McLaren 😬 ).

Well, it has been common knowledge for a while that we're talking about RB and Toro Rosso...
Apparently, they found a way to heat up the rim edges just before the measurements are taken, which allows them to hit that sweet spot of legal pressure. Then, once the race actually starts, that pressure drops slightly, giving them a performance edge...
It seems McLaren has already voiced their concerns and requested official "guidance" from the stewards, because technically, these guys (RB and Toro Rosso) aren't actually breaking any rules—they've just found a very clever way to skirt around them...

They supposedly discovered a clever little trick to pre-heat the wheel rim edges just before the official measurements are taken, ensuring they maintain that ideal, legal tire pressure; however, once the race actually gets underway, that pressure drops off slightly, granting them a distinct performance advantage...
If I recall correctly, McLaren was the one who raised this concern and requested some sort of official "guidance" from the stewards, because technically speaking, these teams haven't actually broken any rules; they have simply found a rather ingenious way to circumvent the spirit of them...

I seem to have missed the details on this one; when exactly did McLaren lodge their protest?

It’s kind of interesting how Mercedes managed to find some serious pace on this specific track—even while Red Bull was basically running circles around everyone else everywhere else

McLaren was actually seeking clarification...
