Poor McLaren is whining now. They weren't the ones who brought this up in the first place, so they shouldn't be acting surprised or feeling wronged.

It isn't a violation of the rules. And honestly, that whole business regarding tire pressure is just a garbage rule anyway.

That isn't actually against the rules. And honestly, those tire pressure regulations are total garbage anyway.

It's a liability issue, as they say... 🙂
If the governing body lets them do whatever they want, then tires will inevitably blow out sometimes, creating a massive safety risk... and then someone sues... 🙂

From what I've read, NASCAR handles this by drilling a tiny little hole in the tires, so the pressure slowly bleeds off throughout the race...

Now, apparently, teams will be required to hand over all their tire telemetry... I just don't see how they plan to penalize anyone who doesn't comply, especially once the race is already over and the winners have been declared... 🙂

Jenson Button had a rough run through FP 1 this morning. Right after St Devote, he hit a manhole cover that had been moved—sort of a repeat of what happened with Juan Pablo Montoya back in China in 2005—and ended up snapping his front wing and suspension.

Felipe Massa, predictably... spun out at St Devote. Last year, I actually made a bet with some guys from Italy about how many times Massa would lose it there...
Don't forget, back in 2008, Massa had that penalty and then completely botched his race because he went off track... and where? Right at St Devote, of course, and still managed to finish third.

Ferrari is still struggling—even with Allison coming into the pits, they just can't seem to get anything right. Kimi is looking better than Sebastian Vettel again.
It looks like Seb just isn't himself this year... driving way too aggressively...

McLaren, as usual... nothing but nonsense from their press releases. It’s almost like the truck drivers hauling their gear are just a couple of guys carrying manure with shovels, clogging up all the communication channels.

It’s not even about breaking the rules. And that whole tire pressure thing? Total garbage rule.

What’s actually surprising here? 🤣
They've been the resident whiners of F1 for ages...

Even if they're actually right this time, this nonsense with Pirelli and their tire pressure stupidity makes zero sense—especially since Mercedes didn't even get penalized for low pressure at the start.
Honestly, screw these rules that nobody follows, and screw them even more when the people actually breaking them don't even get called out. 🤦

The forecast is calling for heavy thunderstorms this Sunday—plus, things won't be nearly as warm. Maybe Ford is cooking up some kind of rain-focused setup, though I honestly find that hard to believe.

What kind of rain setup are we even talking about in Monaco?

The vibes in Italy are intense right now, and people are seriously losing it with Ford. They’re all asking what on earth is going on with that chassis, especially seeing how a Red Bull with an old Ferrari engine is absolutely smoking them. I mean, sure, Monaco is its own weird beast, but still. 👎
I honestly think that polished little seat of theirs is about to start shaking violently.
Even Sebastian Vettel is being brutally honest, basically saying they're complete garbage right now.

Daniel Ricciardo is absolutely loving the new engine upgrade, just like everyone predicted, claiming it’s worth at least a solid 0.2 seconds per lap.
http://www.gazzetta.it/Formula-1/26-...43828591.shtml
Red Bull Racing, Ricciardo hyping up the power unit: "It's worth at least two tenths."

Meanwhile, Max Verstappen says he still needs another two races before he truly feels dialed in with the car:

Formula 1, Verstappen: "Two more races and I'll have this Red Bull Racing under control."

So, what happens when he actually gets there? 🤷

I think the higher-ups are seriously sweating right now.

Even Sebastian Vettel is being incredibly blunt, saying they're basically useless.

He started early... couldn't even last two years... he won't be staying there much longer...

I mean, give me a break. If someone starts promising you a shot at the Titlemaster while you're stuck sitting right behind Red Bull Racing and their junior team, what else is there to say?

The latest reports from the Gazette suggest some serious shifts ahead in the paddock—looks like the tension is definitely ramping up as we head toward the GP Las Vegas. It’s interesting to see how the dynamics are shifting between the drivers, especially with the pressure mounting on the top teams to deliver. One can't help but wonder if the current strategy will hold up when things get intense on the track. It feels like we're on the verge of a real turning point this season.
Red Bull Racing’s own Ricciardo is giving the engine a massive vote of confidence—claiming it's worth at least two-tenths of a second.

And then there's Max—he’s claiming he needs at least two more races before he actually feels in sync with the car.
The latest updates from the Gazette regarding Formula 1 are rolling in—looks like the tension is building ahead of the GP Las Vegas. It’s getting interesting, to say the least. Everything seems to be centering around how the teams are handling the technical shifts as we head into this stretch. I’ll be keeping a close eye on the telemetry data once the sessions get underway. Stay tuned.
Formula 1: Verstappen claims he'll have the Red Bull under control in just two more races.

So, what happens next, then? 🤷

If you want to stay on top of the latest Formula 1 news—specifically the stuff that actually matters—you really ought to be checking out these two sites:

FormulaPassion.com

http://www.usracing.net/

The Gazette tends to lean into the sensationalist side of things—they’ll blow problems way out of proportion and act like every single win is some kind of miracle. I suppose that's because Formula 1 isn't their main focus, so they treat it more like a side show. They handle it exactly like our local news outlets do: It’ll be running through your veins—you honestly won't believe what happened to me today when I finally rolled out of bed this morning. It was absolutely wild—total nonsense, really.

The two sources I follow feel much more grounded and objective—mostly because they’re written by established journalists and insiders who have direct ties to Formula 1, whether they're active now or were in the past.

I used to cover all the news over at www.FormulaPassion.com.
If anyone manages to land an interview with the Gazette, then I basically own the Gazette.
Let’s be real, the Gazette is a total heavyweight compared to those small-time US sites.

If someone claims they landed an exclusive with the Gazette, then I guess it’s their big day.
The Gazette is still a powerhouse compared to our local sites, though.

Maybe they have the edge in soccer or other sports, but when it comes to Formula 1, they don't really have any exclusives—they aren't breaking news before anyone else.
This statement from Ricciardo came right after FP2, which is standard procedure—all drivers are required to take questions from the press at that point. So, Ricciardo isn't just answering to the local reporters; he's talking to everyone gathered around to hear from the guy who just clocked the best time.
FormulaPassion.com actually dropped this info yesterday at 4:15 PM, so it's not exactly true that the Gazette had an exclusive.
Besides, I might be a bit out of the loop here, but anyone who follows F1 regularly knows that once all the practice sessions and qualifying rounds wrap up, the drivers gather in one spot. They give statements in English first for the international media, and then they repeat themselves in their native language.

And every accredited journalist gets access there.

One more thing—you won't see a reporter's byline in a Gazette piece, whereas FormulaPassion always includes the specific author's name.
A serious news outlet or a major publication would make a huge deal about having a special correspondent trackside or claiming an exclusive!!!
So, there's the truth about their "exclusivity."

Most likely, they just paid some freelancer a small fee to publish his write-up.

Well, you just pulled one of my favorites out of the hat. :klap:
Now I’m sitting here feeling totally out of the loop while you clearly have all the inside track.
My bad, why don't you fill me in then? And don't hold back—I want the real scoop, delivered right on time with those exclusive details.
I’m telling you, the Gazette is basically the powerhouse of journalism.

If someone gives an interview to the Gazette, then I'm basically the Gazette's unofficial reporter.
The Gazette is a massive powerhouse compared to our local sites.

So, did Vettel give that same interview to the Gazette as he did to that one domestic site, GP1 or whatever it was called? 🤣
That interview was just a translated statement he gave to Sky—basically to every journalist in the crowd—in English...
Plus, my Italian isn't great, but his English statement doesn't back up your claim at all about him being super critical or saying they're useless. 🤦

On the contrary, he just said they had a rough day and ran a different setup than the others, nothing more. He mentioned they have pace and expect to fight with Mečko on Saturday and Sunday...
