What’s the absolute latest I can get an offer posted?

And honestly, if there are rules in place, they should probably be written more clearly, because if there's a specific deadline for something, then it's just common sense to actually follow it, otherwise having a deadline is completely pointless, right? 😉

Did I even quote that part of the rules?
What exactly is so unclear about that?😕

Look, everything's already laid out right there. What exactly do you want me to do, coach you through every single move?
You want me to give you the answer to Ferk's offer, or are you just acting like a kid?🙄

Crystal clear. Everything is exactly the same as it's been every single year.☕

If you want, you can reply to the old offer anytime between now and ten minutes before qualifying starts (specifically starting from midnight this morning).
Look, if you don't reply and then Ferk drops a new offer on you, you're obligated to respond to that one.
Ferk can send over a new offer whenever they want, as long as it's at least an hour and ten minutes before qualifying starts.

I mean, I guess, but I honestly don't get how you can't read what you just quoted right above.🤦

Look, the rules are right there in black and white. There’s really no point arguing about deadlines that clearly exist; it’s more like you just can't be bothered to read them.

Deadline is Tuesday at midnight. Don't even think about replying to the old offer before then.😳
Round 2 kicks off at 1:10 PM before qualifying starts. But look, you can still jump on the old offer between the first and second rounds if you want. It’s really up to you whether you play it safe and take the current deal now, or hold out hope for a better one once practice sessions roll around. Your call.

Do I need to draw you a diagram, or have you finally figured out how to play the Super League?

Why wasn't it made a rule that bids have to be on the table BEFORE free practice starts? 🤔

I’m honestly suggesting we tighten up these rules. Enough with all the "if this happens" or "unless that goes sideways" or any other bullshit excuses. 🙄

The setter needs to have their bid locked in by Wednesday at midnight, and the responder has to give their answer before qualifying kicks off. Period.

This is the Super League☕
The Super League is actually pretty intense because of all those "tactics" plays—it’s basically a pure mental game to see who blinks first.😁

It’s not just about some guy totally wrecking his prediction from last week with two quick tweaks and calling it a day.
You have to actually know how to play this, and you definitely need to know how to use tactics.

I’ve got a few ideas regarding rule changes, specifically concerning how offers and responses work since some people aren't even bothering to post them.
But I'm not looking to scrap the tactics element; if anything, I want to crank it up. 😈

And hey, if you’re staring at a killer offer and have absolutely no clue how to respond, just pay someone more experienced like a pro to help you out.😁🤣

Plus, you can always hit up the frontier for some advice.😉
That guy knows this game inside and out.☕

Keith Rodriguez27 said:Hey everyone, go ahead and check out the first page of this thread if you want. We’ve got all the results organized there (official race results will be posted on the first page after every single race), and we also rolled out some new rules. Even though that sounds a bit "messy," don't let it trip you up—honestly, the only major changes you actually need to care about are the first two sentences of point 13 and point 14. Basically, we took the whole "joker prediction" concept from the main league and brought it over here, so every player gets 2 jokers for the entire tournament. Even banned players can still participate by posting, but only as long as they have jokers left to use.

Feel free to look over the rules yourselves and call us out if anything looks missing or confusing, but I think we've covered everything and dialed it in as best as possible.

And obviously, in the Super League, you've got the results right at the start of the thread. Regarding the rule changes, the proposed tweaks look more extensive and, uh, "interesting" 😁 (meaning a bit bigger) than in other competitions, so we still need to sit back and see what sticks and what doesn't. For now, nothing has actually changed in this competition yet. Maybe today or tomorrow, but as of right now, nothing's been swapped out.

If they actually go through with changes, they really ought to do it during a window where there's enough time before the bidding deadlines hit. 😉
It absolutely cannot happen right before a race, especially since the deadlines have already passed. 😳
Maybe after this round, though even then, the gap between races is tiny.
The first deadline is way too close, and if anyone misses it, they face potential sanctions even if the player didn't even know the rules had changed.

Honestly, I think the best move would be to handle it between Bahrain and Barcelona.
Maybe I'll just drop them in the chat as a suggestion (to take effect after Bahrain) and see what the players think. 🤷

Clear, yeah. We'll hash it out over there and see what happens.

Honestly, I haven't got a clue. I don't care if they stick with the current rules or tighten up the deadlines even more. The Super League has always been its own thing anyway, especially since it lacks those strict cutoff times you see in other competitions.

Btw, so you're assuming that under your logic, an offer sent on, say, Thursday afternoon would just be totally void? Or that the person receiving it gets to cherry-pick which offers they actually feel like answering? Is that where you're coming from?

Yeah, but the reason I set the deadline for Thursday was simply because the free practice sessions in Monaco take place on Thursday. 😉

Proposed rule changes:
Part 1
Part 2
The updated rulebook won't kick in until after Bahrain, or maybe even later.
Since some stuff got delayed and certain things under the new rules should have been handled before the first race.
Just to be crystal clear, these aren't official rules yet, so there's no misunderstanding.

Personally, I think they're pretty solid. They add some interesting elements regarding tactics, penalize players who aren't consistent with their offers or responses, and sort out issues involving banned users or those who miss sending offers in the first or second round.😳
Plus, they'll heavily penalize anyone who doesn't take the Super League seriously.😳

I also tweaked the filling order, because honestly, Max has a point—champions are champions, and they really should be ranked ahead of the finalists.

Anyway, I want to know what everyone else thinks, because this is a pretty big shift.
If anyone has a better idea or an objection to the rules, let me know. I definitely want to hear your thoughts before anything gets changed.🙂

I'm especially curious about your take on the filling order. It’s been a major sticking point for a long time, but to me, it looks perfectly fine.👍
7 champions and the Super League runner-up🙂

Maybe, but Pat can still accept the offer by replying to the thread.

Also, I need to check when he was last online, considering how late you got this offer.

Anyway, grabbing coffee now. Not in the mood for this nonsense.
And my Best man is also losing it.😢
