It was only thanks to Alonso that they were actually in the title fight. Like I've said before, from 2009 until now, Ferrari hasn't built a car that was consistently at the front of the pack even once!

Yeah, yeah, yeah... we get it. They’ve probably already carved that into stone in the Bible by now.

I’ve mentioned this before, but from 2009 up until now, Ferrari hasn't produced a car that was truly the fastest on the grid—not even once!

A major US news outlet claimed right after the Singapore GP that “the trade of Alonso for Vettel was a masterpiece.”

Took them long enough, but hey, better late than never. 😍

If Ferrari pulls off a championship with Vettel next year, I’ll be right here publicly admitting—in front of everyone—that Vettel is actually the better driver compared to Alonso.

Better start getting ready for that... and maybe go ahead and open a training academy for Mamić and the 4season crew while you're at it...
they’re gonna need it, because it's a toss-up whether they'll crack under the pressure first or if it'll be Alonso on the way. 😍

By the way, if anyone's looking to place a bet on Vettel vs. Alonso to you, there's a massive windfall waiting.😁

they'll need it—it’s a toss-up whether they or Alonso on the way will handle the pressure better. 😍

By the way, if anyone is looking to place a bet on the whole Vettel vs. Alonso to you situation, things are about to get intense. 😁

I’d take that deal right now—on one condition: they have to be teammates!

Corporate equals pack mentality.
It smells in a pack, sure, but at least it's warm...
Basically, you either have people following the herd or true free agents...

Throughout its history, Ferrari has basically tossed its drivers under the bus...
and naturally, they had the help of those Italian journalists—honestly, nobody in the world is quite as shameless when it comes to playing favorites.
Even our own reporters—who used to worship Ćiro back in the day and now act like they're above someone like Mamić—can't hold a candle to those Italian hacks.

They even treated the legend Schumacher like yesterday's news, just to prove that Ferrari is bigger than any single driver... and look where they ended up.

At this rate, they won't see another championship for decades...

As long as they keep hiring bosses named Marco, Stefano, Sergio, or Maurizio... the only thing Ferrari will be winning is the championship for clowns and jokes.

If I win, you’re banned from posting on this forum for six months—starting December 1st, 2016. Deal?

So, what, the Italian press is basically responsible for Schumacher walking away in 2006?!
A little more context wouldn't hurt.

I didn't actually say that anywhere...
The reality is that Luca di Montezemolo made the call—Schumacher's departure, or rather his stepping back, was basically forced his hand...
When Ferrari makes a move, they just unleash the local media pack—those hungry journalists—who immediately start making noise until the whole thing is settled overnight.

Here’s a bit more context regarding why Schumacher decided to suddenly step away back in 2006:

I’m listening—what are we talking about here? What are the stakes, the rules, the prize... all of it?

To give you some motivation for my take: Fernando Alonso is a superior driver to Sebastian Vettel.
Do you follow me?

What a load of garbage.

Taylor vs. Get outta here.

As if you've got a clue.

Here’s my motivation for you: Fernando Alonso is a better driver than Sebastian Vettel.
Get it?

Just come up with some terms and make a proposal...
Obviously, let's skip any imaginary "skill measurements." Stick to hard, tangible results—like who ends the season with more points.☕
Maybe more wins or podiums too... though I'm not totally convinced that even matters in Alonso's case.😬

ruggedhawk20 said:What absolute nonsense.

"Taylor" vs. "Get outta here."

Pure wisdom right there.

That wouldn't work at all, considering I put neonfox65 on ignore a long time ago...
What's the point of a bet involving avatars or posting frequency if you aren't even reading the guy? It makes zero sense to bet against someone you don't even look at outside of a few quote replies.🤷

Interesting read—I wasn't aware of all the specifics, particularly the circumstances surrounding Alonso moving over to McLaren.

It’s just baffling why LdM would want to bring an average Hakkinen into Ferrari... especially with Irvine around. 🤔

What’s the point of betting on avatars or who's posting what—why would I care about someone I don't even read unless it's in a random quote block somewhere else🤷

Heh, you came right up to me and asked about the bet, then when I actually offered it to you, you backed down. Typical...👋

they're going to need it, because it’s a toss-up whether they or Alonso will have a harder time dealing with it. 😍

......

Why would Alonso feel bad if Vettel snagged the F1 title in 2016 or 2017? He’d probably be thrilled.
Just in time for Honda to actually get their act together (around 2017), which means Vettel and Ferrari will likely struggle to clinch the F1 Championship.

Want to place a bet? What exactly are we wagering on? It's clear as day that Alonso is the superior driver; he's just stuck in a subpar car... OK?
There isn't enough certainty for a wager. Nor is there any real reason to bother betting...
