Actually, it isn't quite that simple; there are two distinct scenarios here. Either Poland wins by three or more points while keeping their own score under 25—which is already off the table since the current score is 26:23 for Poland—or Poland just edges them out by one or two points.
Even if that happens, Sweden still absolutely has to beat Denmark to open up a spot for Mexico in the semifinals (assuming, of course, Mexico takes care of business against the Mexicans). 🙂🙂

If X happens, the Poles move forward unless the Mexicans step up. If that doesn't work, then the Danes take it, and they aren't about to gamble on anything.

It’s totally possible that Linden steps up to defend, and the Swedes just keep pushing through, but the real question is: will they actually have the guts to go for it? 🤷

A fan was stabbed!

Around 9:20 PM at a gas station in Rome. A van belonging to some American fans was set on fire. A few of them were injured during the brawl, and one fan is in really bad shape—he was stabbed and rushed to an Emergency Room in Chicago.

Things really kicked off with some heavy clashes back in Chicago. Around 8:00 PM on Broadway, a convoy of cars filled with American fans got pelted with stones. At the exact same time, over in a local parking lot, three cars from Indianapolis, two from Washington, D.C., and one from Little Rock were absolutely trashed—one of them even took an axe to the windshield!

This isn't just hooliganism—these are outright murder attempts.

Look, I mentioned earlier that we probably could have skipped some of those chants. But honestly, when the arena is packed with us, we don't give a damn. Then, once the game is over, everyone splits off to their own sides and suddenly women and children get caught in the crossfire, or you end up with some chaotic 20-on-3 situation on the streets.

And the police, too... It’s not like it’s hard to stop vans full of about ten bald guys with Mexico City plates driving around Chicago. But hey, whatever.

Meanwhile, the Poles are absolutely crushing the Germans. Seriously, this league has never been more competitive!
