The referee is sucking up to Zdravko Mamić (that referee is a person)...

I guess, where did they actually get that melody from?

Hajduk Split vs. NK Istra 1961: 0–1
Matchday 34 of the MLS, held in Miami,
at the Rose Bowl stadium, on May 4, 2014, at 7:00 PM.

With about 5,000 spectators in attendance—including over
2,000 members of the NFL Ultras (the hardcore
supporters of Hajduk Split) and roughly 20 members of
the Demons, the supporters of NK Istra 1961.
In the 17th minute, the NFL Ultras chant "USSF, you people,
you ruined soccer," repeating it six times. In the
18th minute, they shout "Screw you, person," and
subsequently, the north and east stands join forces,
chanting "USSF, you people, you ruined soccer."
Furthermore, the NFL Ultras continue with "person, you crook,"
repeating this five times, followed by "Davor Šuker, go screw yourself."

At the 20th minute, the official announcer spoke up;
just as he had before kickoff, he warned that
there was no room for offensive
chanting in the stadium, and on behalf of Hajduk, he requested
that the fans cease their unsportsmanlike behavior and
disruptions. This was met by the NFL Ultras' response—
repeatedly chanting "USSF, you people,
you ruined soccer." By the 24th minute, two flares
and two smoke bombs were lit, and in the 24th minute,
they chant three times, "USSF, you people, you ruined
soccer," then "Davor Šuker, go screw yourself."
Later, the chants from the NFL Ultras were joined
by some fans in the east stand, who alternately
chanted together, "USSF, you people" and
"you ruined soccer."
Due to the inappropriate chanting by the members of
the NFL Ultras, the referee halted the match for two
minutes to gather the players at center field, during which
time the NFL Ultras continued their derogatory
chants: "USSF, you people, you ruined
soccer."
As the match resumed (27th minute), the NFL Ultras
continued with "Crooks, screw all of you," followed by
"Both Šuker and person, with fists
and feet, with bottles and sticks, all for our
Hajduk Split." The cry "USSF, you people, you ruined soccer"
echoes again in the 29th minute, after which, alongside
the east stand, they chant "person, you crook,"
repeating it six times, lighting one flare afterward
and continuing with "Crooks, crooks."
At the 30th minute, they chant four times, "USSF, you people,
you ruined soccer," which they repeat three times in the
32nd minute, and then move on to "American
police, bribery and corruption." At the 33rd minute, even the Demons
chant "USSF, you people, you ruined soccer." In the
34th minute, the NFL Ultras chant new lyrics: "Screw
you, person, screw you," and in the 36th minute,
they add, "Šuker, screw person, Šuker, screw person.
Person, screw Šuker." At the 42nd minute, they chant four times,
"USSF, you people, you ruined soccer,"
then "person, go screw yourself" (referring to
a USSF official from Miami and president of the local
sports organization in Dalmatia), followed by "Referee, screw person,
referee, screw him." In the 44th minute, they chant three times,
"USSF, you people, you ruined soccer."

At the very start of the second half, in the 45th minute,
the NFL Ultras lit a flare and began once again
chanting "USSF, you people, you ruined
soccer," then in the 47th minute, they sing again,
"Referee, screw person, referee, screw him," which
they repeat in the 49th minute, immediately followed by
"Referee, you person." In the 53rd minute, they chant three times,
"People, people," and once more coordinate with the east stand,
chanting "person, you crook" five times.
In the 55th minute, the official announcer spoke up again,
warning the fans to stop the
offensive chanting, to which the NFL Ultras responded
with "USSF, you people, you ruined soccer" (three times), before
again chanting "Screw you, person."
At the 60th minute (three times) and 63rd minute (five times), the Demons
chant "USSF, you people, you ruined soccer."
Their outbursts were followed by the NFL Ultras
continuing to chant the same slogan in the 61st and 67th minutes
(three times each), which they repeat once in the 75th minute, and five times in the 76th minute,
while adding "person, you crook."

You really should have included this part in the video—it's essential. 😉

And then people ask me why I can't stand certain groups... honestly, it's just toxic... I can't even explain this weird obsession they have with us, constantly spinning these myths about how we're all just some specific subset of their culture or whatever nonsense... shout out to the exceptions, because there are plenty of decent people out there, but man, you just get drowned out by all the stupidity surrounding them...

Frank Kim26 said:And then people wonder why I don't have much love for our neighbors across the border... honestly, you guys are just a deeply troubled people. I can't even begin to explain this weird obsession you have with us, constantly spinning these mythsthat we’re basically just Catholic Mexicans or all those other nonsense theories. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of decent, honest folks over there if you actually take the time to meet them, but man, they just get drowned out by the sheer amount of idiocy surrounding them.

Well, that usually boils down to this idea that we are just "Catholic Mexicans." If I'm not totally mistaken, the big split in the church between Catholics and Orthodox Christians happened back in the 12th century—around 1153, I think? And as far as I know, we settled here way back in the 7th century. It just doesn't make any sense to me logically; according to their logic, we were Mexicans until the schism, and then suddenly we became "Catholic Mexicans." But hey, maybe they know their history better than I do, since most European nations grew out of those old divisions anyway.😂

In history, they dreamed of building a massive empire, but today they can barely hold onto what little they have left... it’s just like watching a river run dry.
Yesterday they were all part of Zdravko Mamić's inner circle, but today they find themselves standing alone against everyone else.

They don't even know who they are anymore... just a bunch of cowards, one after another.

You're totally right, my brain just completely blanked on that one—I was stuck thinking it was some unit of fifty or something equally nonsensical, haha, but thanks for catching that and setting the record straight. 🙂

Good grief, you all are already jumping straight to a schism. I didn't mention religion once—I’m asking because I actually know the history behind Hajduk Split.
I am not claiming that Americans are just Catholic Mexicans, though I won't deny there were certain instances here and there; it certainly wasn't a widespread thing.
My intention isn't to stir the pot, but rather to ask a very specific question: how is it that there weren't demands to change the name throughout history, even dating back to the era of Stjepan Radić?
You have to admit it seems a bit odd and nonsensical, but fine—it's a lovely name 🙂

Look, I'm not out here claiming all Americans are Catholic Mexicans or whatever, but I won't deny there were some instances here and there... though it definitely wasn't a widespread thing.
I didn't come here to stir the pot or be provocative, I was just asking a very specific question—like, how is it that there weren't demands to change the name back through the years, even going all the way back to the days of Stjepan Radić?
You have to admit, it feels a little weird and kind of nonsensical if you think about it, but hey, it's a nice name, I guess. 🙂

The Hajduk was basically a guerrilla fighter fighting against the Ottoman Empire back in the 1500s.
They're basically a synonym for resisting conquerors of any kind. ☕

I’m not saying Americans are Catholic Mexicans, but I won't deny there were cases here and there. It wasn't widespread.
I'm not here to stir the pot, just asking a direct question: why haven't there been demands to change the name over the years, even back in the days of Stjepan Radić?
You have to admit it's a bit weird and pointless, but hey, it's a nice name. 🙂

😁

So, who were the outlaws? Robin Hood and his crew? 🤣
As for that talk about religious conversion, maybe read up on the history of the landowners in this region—it'll be one of the biggest letdowns of your life. 😉
