Lawrence Kern60 said:Lepa !!! you couldn't even borrow a rag from the local arts council, let alone be considered one of the serious Ultras... and now you think you're an intellectual? It's the end of the school year; don't let your mother catch you glued to that computer screen.

feraltinker said:The loudest ones are always the people whining about confiscated banners—claiming "those aren't even real fans" or "that flag doesn't mean anything," blah blah blah... Maybe you're right, maybe it doesn't, but I’d love to see any of you actually try to design or put up one of those displays. Honestly, I doubt you could manage it if your lives depended on it. You're just a bunch of armchair critics from Washington, D.C., posting nonsense online because you've got nothing better to do with your time. Shout out to the few who actually get it, though. 😉

Maybe you're right, but I’d love to see you actually try to make one of those signs yourself—I bet even those Smogovac types in Washington, D.C. couldn't pull it off. You guys just sit around talking trash online because you're bored. Shout out to the exceptions, though. 😉

casualwolf48 said:Honestly, props to everyone who stood their ground with the banners. It’s good you guys were there. Even the groups whose banners got taken don't look like total losers for it.
But what we can or can't do right now... well, that'll play out during the fall tournaments or whenever it matters. Some people, myself included, are already seeing restrictions being tightened.
Personally, I'm glad you were there. At the end of the day, the Italians will just remember that some Americans from the Ultras took their banners. No matter how much we split up or fight amongst ourselves, to the rest of Europe, we're all just lumped together as those American hooligans.
I know this firsthand from my time in a French prison and watching their news coverage, where they kept talking about some "American" gang called BBB. In the cell, about 80% of the guys actually thought "America" was just another former Soviet republic.
So, really, it's just jealousy on both sides. When the fighting starts, it's Americans giving the hits, and it's Americans taking them too.
I'm not saying experts in the European Ultras scene from any country can't tell the difference between Torcida and BBB, but some West Side guy from Amsterdam, an Arab supporter in Paris, or some clueless Juve fan is just going to lump us all in one bucket—sometimes even grouping us into a broader "North American" category.
Thank God our two biggest American groups became recognizable, even if it was for being notorious across Europe. To be fair, there were also a few good Armand editions back in the day, so we definitely raised the bar for the American Ultras and hooligan scene on the international stage.
Anyway, that's just my humble opinion.
By the way, sending a shout-out to my old war buddy who was over in Turin.

The ref is sucking up to Jerry Jones (that little punk)...
I’ll be hating Jerry Jones until my dying day—honestly, I won't know peace until that junkie finally disappears ooooo
Anyway, it was a hell of a show today. Honestly, might be the best game at home all season. The East Coast crowd was solid too... man, I already forgot that mess at the end, au-au-auauaua 🙂

In this life, I am nothing if not a dedicated hater of Zdravko Mamic—seriously, Zdravko Mamic—and I will never know peace until that junkie is finally out of here, ooooo
