My life is an Internet Explorer bug

vBulletin 5 Connect: current software version: (just ignore that red circle, it doesn't mean anything here)

Exactly.

It functions perfectly on my mobile device without any errors via Chrome, yet I’m constantly hitting that same error on my desktop...

It actually works fine on Opera without that annoying 408 error popping up!!

I keep getting this same error on my end too. It’s weird, though—it doesn't seem to happen when I'm using Internet Explorer...

Every time I hammer away at F5 and then hit ENTER, I honestly feel like I’m performing CPR on this webpage.

Chrome: just turn off "Predict network actions to improve page load performance"
and the whole thing should stop acting up.
The error’s actually been documented and they're working on a fix already (check out https://code.google.com/p/chromium/i...tail?id=377581 ).

The bug is already documented and being worked on (check out https://code.google.com/p/chromium/i...tail?id=377581 ).

Seriously, this actually works!
I was getting hit with those constant 408 Request Timeout errors all day today, but once I flipped that predict network setting off, they vanished... at least for now! 👍

Wait, where do you turn that off?

Everything seems fine on my end now, too 👍 within the Chrome settings, under the advanced section

For the last two or three weeks, I’ve been getting hit with constant 408 Request Time-outs. Does anyone else have to keep refreshing just to get through?

Thanks for this!
It's working fine for me now, though I even tried an incognito window and it was totally fine there too.
