melloworca6 and Michael Diaz4, thanks guys. My gynecologist actually suggested Hemolex, but honestly... nothing seems to be doing a damn thing...
Regarding that Fact ointment... honestly, I'm stuck. My doctor told me exactly what the official instructions say, so I’m kind of in limbo here. I don't even know if I should be using it or not... even though I see so many pregnant women using this stuff all the time. 🙄😢 I’m honestly losing my mind here... just totally spiraling... 😢

So, here’s the rundown on what’s actually out there... just a quick list of available options. Definitely take this over to your OB-GYN and have a real chat about which one might be worth a shot for you specifically—because honestly, we all react to stuff differently... what works for one person might totally tank for someone else... anyway, just a thought...

Donna Johnson16 said:Just some Fact:
So, looking at what's actually inside this stuff... the active ingredients are polycresulen and cinchocaine hydrochloride. Just to break it down, every single gram of the ointment packs 50 mg of polycresulen and 10 mg of cinchocaine hydrochloride... basically the heavy hitters doing all the work.
The rest of the stuff includes disodium edetate, macrogol cetostearyl ether, and BHT (that's E321 if you're keeping track)... then there's some colloidal anhydrous silica, plus a mix of macrogol 300, macrogol 1500, and macrogol 400... also sodium hydroxide, purified water, and edetic acid... just a whole lot of chemistry going on in there...

So, about that Hemopip plus mast stuff... turns out there's a lot to unpack there... honestly, just thinking about it makes my head spin a little... anyway...
Vaseline, lanolin, royal jelly, propolis extract, calendula flower extract, and chamomile flower extract... basically just a heavy-duty cocktail of skin-soothing goodness.

So, I've been looking into PROKTEN®... honestly, there's just so much to unpack here... it's one of those things you don't realize you need until you're staring at the label wondering if it actually works... or if it's just more hype... anyway...:
The active stuff in this... we've got aloe vera extract, chamomile extract, olive oil, and Allantoin... definitely feels like a soothing mix...
The extra stuff they pack in there... basically just a mix of white Vaseline, liquid paraffin, lanolin, zinc oxide, Peruvian balsam, and Vitamin E...

Hemero protect...:
So, looking at the ingredients... this cream is basically built on a base of Water, Vaseline, Cetyl Stearyl alcohol, Ceteth-20, Stearyl alcohol, and some liquid Paraffin. It’s got Glycerin and d-panthenol in there too... plus some Chamomilla recutita extract. Then you get into the preservatives and stabilizers like Phenoxyethanol, Beta-glucan, Methylparaben, Allantoin, and Lactic acid. Oh, and it also uses Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Propylparaben, and Isobutylparaben... quite the list...

So, I was looking into that Hemopropin ointment... just thinking about it. It’s one of those things you see mentioned, but you gotta wonder if it actually does what it says on the tin. Honestly, sometimes these topical stuff feels like a total gamble... either it works wonders or it's just expensive grease. Still curious though... might have to dig deeper into the actual ingredients before I go buying up a whole stash...:
So, I was thinking about that old-school propolis tincture again... you know, that intense, sticky stuff people swear by when they feel a scratchy throat coming on? It’s such a classic American remedy, right? Just one of those things sitting in the medicine cabinet that actually feels like it does something... unlike some of the overpriced fancy stuff you see at the pharmacy. Honestly, there's just something about the raw, punchy vibe of a good tincture that hits different... especially when you're feeling run down and just want to get back on your feet...
chamomile tincture... yeah... just thinking about that stuff again. honestly, there's nothing quite like it when you need to take the edge off... just a little bit of nature's magic in a bottle... keeps things chill...
So, I was looking into white Vaseline... you know, that stuff they use as an excipient in all sorts of creams and ointments... and honestly, it’s everywhere. It's one of those ingredients that just sits in the background while everything else does the heavy lifting, but it's definitely doing something... stays on the skin, creates that barrier, keeps everything locked in... kind of like a silent bodyguard for your moisturizer. Just one of those things you don't think twice about until you realize how much of it is actually in your favorite products... turns out, it's pretty much the backbone of half the stuff in my bathroom cabinet...
So, let's talk about lanolin... that little helper ingredient you see popping up everywhere on labels lately. It’s basically one of those unsung heroes in the skincare world... just sitting there doing the heavy lifting while the flashy stuff gets all the credit. Honestly, if you're looking to actually lock in moisture instead of just slapping on some greasy film, this is the real deal... it's super effective at creating that barrier your skin craves, especially when things get dry out. Just a little something to keep in mind next time you're scanning the ingredients... it really makes a difference...

So, I was looking into that Aromara Hemo ex stuff... honestly, it’s hard to say for sure without more digging... just one of those things where you wonder if it's actually worth the hype... anyway...:
Pinecones... just sitting there... nature's little woody nuggets... I was thinking about them today... weirdly enough... they’re basically just these armored little seed pods waiting for their moment... kind of intense if you think about it... like tiny organic grenades... anyway... just a random thought... lost in the woods... maybe too much coffee...
Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia)... man, where do I even start with this stuff? It’s basically the holy grail if you’re dealing with skin drama... that weird breakout or itchy situation that just won't quit. Honestly, it’s like nature’s little miracle worker, though it smells pretty intense—kind of like a forest after a heavy rain, but, you know, sharper... Most people swear by it for acne because it’s got those killer antiseptic properties. Just a tiny bit goes a long way, so don't go overboard or you'll end up feeling like a desert dweller... totally dried out. If you're looking to soothe things down, maybe mix it with some Glycerin or a little Vaseline to keep the moisture in... definitely helps when your skin is throwing a tantrum. It’s one of those staples you really should have in your cabinet, especially if you're prone to those sudden flare-ups... just be careful with the concentration, okay? Seriously...
So, I was thinking about ČEMPRES (*Cupressus sempervirens*) today... you know, that Mediterranean cypress vibe? It’s such a classic look, almost like something you'd see lining a driveway in a fancy suburb outside of Los Angeles or maybe somewhere sunny in Arizona... just standing there, all tall and slender and elegant. It really brings a certain level of sophistication to a landscape if you do it right, but man, it can be a bit finicky if you don't know what you're doing with the soil drainage and all that stuff... anyway, just a random thought floating around my head while I was staring at the yard... turns out it's actually pretty interesting once you dig into it...
Geranium... honestly, what can I even say about it? It’s such a classic, right? Just one of those things you can't really escape once you start looking into it. It's got that vibe... just totally unmistakable...
Chamomile... just chamomile... honestly, sometimes you just need that one thing to take the edge off... nothing else really hits the spot quite like it...
Lavandin... honestly, if you haven't tried it yet, what are you even doing? It’s like that slightly more aggressive, punchier cousin to regular lavender. Still got those floral vibes, but it hits different... a bit more herbal, a bit more "wake up and smell the garden"... anyway, just my two cents...
Lemon...
So, let's talk about MIRA... you know, *Commiphora myrrha*... basically that heavy-hitting myrrh stuff everyone's obsessed with lately... It’s wild how much weight this single ingredient carries in the skincare world... Honestly, if you haven't looked into its properties yet, you're missing out big time... It's got this incredible way of working with the skin, almost like it's speaking its language... Just thinking about the sheer potency of it all... truly something else...
Wait, did someone just say PACULI? ... Seriously? I mean, if we're actually talking about that... my brain is already melting a little bit... anyway...
Sandal... honestly, where do I even start with these things? Just looking at them makes me think about summer in the States, sweating through my shirt while trying to find some relief on the sidewalk... you know how it is. Anyway, just thinking out loud here...
Smilje... turns out that little thing actually does something... I mean, I was skeptical at first, but after digging around, there's definitely some science behind it... just a thought...
BASE OILS AND MACERATIONS:
Grassland... just endless green...
Who is Kim Black?
Olive oil... man, where do I even start with this stuff? It’s basically liquid gold if you know what you’re doing... honestly... most people just grab whatever cheap bottle is sitting on the shelf at the local grocery store, but that's a total rookie move. If you want the good stuff, the kind that actually does something for you, you gotta look closer... it's all about that extra virgin quality... nothing else really compares when you're trying to get that real flavor or those healthy fats into your diet... anyway... just my two cents...
NEVEN
Sunflower...

Hemoran ointment... ugh, man... Travar MB Des Moines
So, here's the breakdown on what's actually inside... basically a mix of fat, white Vaseline, beeswax, pine essential oil, calendula oil, fish oil, olive oil, marigold, nettle leaf, plantain, and aloe root... just a whole bunch of stuff...

So, there are seven options currently on the market... and honestly? Not a single one of them actually contains corticosteroids.

Which doctor? Honestly, when it comes to this kind of stuff, I trust an OB-GYN the most. They should be the ones who actually know what's safe during pregnancy and what isn't. Other doctors might be up to speed, or they might not be—general practitioners definitely know their stuff, but with specialists, it really just depends on their specific focus.

Just my general practitioner. Honestly, I feel like I'm losing my mind because this current treatment isn't doing anything for me at all, and my due date is getting closer by the day. I would love to try using Fact, but I am just so worried about the possibility of it affecting the baby.🙄🙂

Tyler James5, thanks.
I’m currently using Hemopropin, but I haven't seen any real improvement. I also tried Hemoro Protect, which was a total bust—zero stars from me. I'm curious about this Prokten ointment; has anyone here actually used it? What’s the verdict, and did it actually provide any relief for you? 🙄

I'm currently using Hemopropin, but honestly, it’s doing absolutely nothing for me. I tried Hemoro Protect before that, too, and that was a total bust—zero out of ten, would not recommend. Now I'm looking at this Prokten ointment. Has anyone actually dealt with this stuff? Is it any good, or is it just more of the same? I'd love to hear if it actually helped anyone. 🙄

Honestly, during my pregnancy, nothing worked for me. I cycled through a bunch of different medicated creams, but they were all useless. My OB-GYN eventually suggested I give Fact a shot, which honestly caught me off guard—like, really? Even that didn't do a thing. Then, after my first baby arrived (look, I’m not trying to freak you out, and this isn't a guarantee it'll happen to you, but still...), that's when the real nightmare started. I ended up dealing with these massive hemorrhoids that actually cropped up because of an enema!🙂
So, I finally managed to chill them out a bit with some Pilex about three weeks ago. They haven't exactly retreated or anything, but at least they aren't hurting nearly as much! 🤣
I never quite managed to get rid of them for good.
During my second pregnancy, I actually spoke up about the issues I was having, and honestly, that made a huge difference—the fallout wasn't nearly as bad. This time around, I went back to using Pilex and Hemo ex oil again.

Then, when I had my first baby—and please don't let this scare you, as everyone's experience is different—that's when the real issues started with massive hemorrhoids, which actually resulted from having an enema!🙂
It took about three weeks before I managed to soothe them somewhat using Pilex, though they never fully receded; they just stopped hurting so much. 🤣
I never did completely get rid of them.
During my second pregnancy, I made sure to mention my history with this issue beforehand, and the consequences were definitely much more manageable. I used Pilex again along with some Hemo ex oil.

🙄

swiftpanther102, is it okay to start taking Pilex immediately after giving birth?
Since you mentioned your history with hemorrhoids during your second delivery, were they perhaps more careful with you because of that? I'm honestly quite terrified of what might happen afterward, given how things are feeling right now. 😢 😢
Also, what can you tell me about that Hemo ex oil? Does it actually help?

Actually, if we're talking about expertise on that specific subject, the person you really want to consult is a clinical pharmacologist. That's exactly who pregnant women should turn to when facing dilemmas regarding medication during pregnancy.

I need some help here. I’ve been dealing with external hemorrhoids for several years now. Over that time, they’ve flared up twice, and I’ve tried managing them with creams, herbal teas, and even Vaseline, but they just won't go away—they just sit there. When I first noticed them, I went to see a doctor who prescribed a cream, and that was the end of it. However, over the last year or so, I’ve noticed a specific spot that is oval-shaped—sort of like a fingernail—and it's quite thin and flattened. Now, I honestly can't tell if it's actually a hemorrhoid or something else entirely, especially since it hasn't been painful. Has anyone else dealt with something like this?

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!! I've been dealing with these stupid hemorrhoids for 9 months now! It started with one, and then another popped up... and I'm only 18! I have no clue what stage I'm at or anything! They've just been sitting there for 9 months... when I stick to my diet and use ointment, nothing hurts, but if I eat something like chocolate, the pain is absolutely killing me! Today was pure agony. How am I supposed to figure out which stage I have? I have two slightly larger external ones that have been there for those damn 9 months, and they usually don't hurt unless I eat something I shouldn't. I went to see a doctor, but all they did was hand me some cream and call it a day! Like, seriously? What kind of joke is that? :/

Eat plums and apples instead of chocolate and go see a proctologist.

But is dying in agony easier for you? If I could switch over to Water and flush out all that extra junk, you can too.

The pain... it’s constant! Ugh, I totally get it!! But honestly, the absolute worst part is being out with friends and having them grill me about why I’m not eating what everyone else is. It’s so awkward having to make up some lame excuse just because I don't want to admit I have an eating disorder, haha! Yes, I know all of this! It really just comes down to pure persistence and sheer willpower. I can do this, I have to! Thank you all!!! 🙂

Has anyone here actually gone to see Dr. Dominic Ivanovich over at the Leptir Clinic for an exam or maybe some kind of procedure? I’m curious to hear if anyone has any firsthand experiences to share. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much. 🙂

Jesse Castillo9, if you don't mind sharing the details of what happened... it would be incredibly helpful for everyone else here. After all, nobody wants to end up in the hands of someone unprofessional. I am truly sorry to hear you had such a bad experience.😢

From what I’ve managed to dig up online, Dr. Ivanovich also practices using the KB Merkur DG HAL method.

The procedure was a total failure. Nothing has improved; in fact, everything feels even worse than before. I essentially threw away two months of my salary for this. If you aren't looking to just throw money down the drain, I definitely wouldn't recommend private clinics.

Man, that sucks.

I wasn't planning on seeing him anyway. I only talk to surgeons under 50 just to get a sense of things. In this field, you can't really replace experience, but I was curious...

Hope you find someone who can actually fix this soon.

Thanks for sharing what happened. Good luck. 🙂
