Skonto-Hajduk F+2 @5 SS

It’s pretty obvious Hajduk is the superior side here. Skonto spent the whole match playing defense, just waiting to spring a counterattack. They finally got one chance in the 92nd minute, but they missed. Besides that, they had one dangerous corner and a single drive, but that was about it for them. Meanwhile, Hajduk is playing an aggressive high line and controlling about 75% of the possession—if not more. Honestly, they could easily toss in a few more goals.

Hajduk also looked much sharper in terms of work rate. Once Skonto is forced to open up because they have to chase the game, the guys should capitalize and put this thing to bed.

Anyone who watched the first leg knows exactly what I mean. These young players aren't going to sit back; they’ll be looking to bury as many as they can. As long as we don't run into any absolute disasters that trigger a total meltdown, we're golden.🙂

I'm leaning a bit heavier on this bet given the odds, but I'm fully confident Hajduk takes this. It’s really just a question of the margin.

Let's go, boys!🎉 🎉

Edit: Dammit, almost hit "post" before I was finished typing.🙂

Yeah, this feels like a "lock" to me. You've got Atletico—currently sitting in second place with 9 wins, a draw, and just one loss, including a six-game winning streak—they're in killer form. Plus, they’ve got Ronaldinh joining the ranks against a pretty mediocre Santos side that's missing their star, Neymar (who's off with the US Olympic squad)—though, honestly, even when they had him, they played terribly. The moneyline isn't huge at @ 1.50, but I think it hits; the handicap is sitting at @ 2.45.

@ Ethan Jones5
Hajduk is playing away from home... 🤦
I wouldn't be surprised if Skonto manages to scrape a draw, if not an outright win.
The only way this makes sense is on some casual little parlay.

Brazil vs. Egypt handicap -1 | 1 | 1.65

Brazil is on a completely different level here. They’ve got stars like Rafael (Man Utd), Thiago Silva (PSG), Marcelo (Real Madrid), Sandro (Tottenham), Damiao (Internacional), Oscar (Chelsea), Neymar (Santos), Hulk (Porto), Ganso (Santos), and Pato (AC Milan). Compare that to Egypt, where almost everyone plays in their domestic league, aside from Hegazy (Fiorentina) and Salah (Basel). If you know, you know. ☕

crven Zvezda-Naftan | 1 | 1.20

Word is the Marakana will be packed. I really think once the crowd gets going, the boys are going to absolutely dismantle those Belarusians. It's worth noting that Naftan hasn't been looking great in their own league lately, so they'll probably prioritize domestic play over the Europa League, where they have a 99% chance of getting knocked out anyway.

Elfsborg vs. Dacia | 1 | 1.35

Elfsborg is incredibly tough to beat at home—they're sitting at 7-1-0 in the league right now. I expect them to take care of the Moldavians, who have had a long journey to get here, especially since they aren't used to playing on artificial turf. Elfsborg dropped their first match 1-0, so they won't be taking any chances today. ☕

Total odds: 2.67

The atmosphere at the stadium is looking electric. I’m calling it now: if the crowd gets hyped, our boys are going to absolutely tear through those Belarusians. Let’s be real though, Naftan isn't exactly killing it in their domestic league right now, so they’ll probably prioritize that over the Europa League. They're basically 99% dead in this tournament anyway.

Plus, they've got two guys on the US national team roster. If they actually belong there, they should be able to handle this.🤷

I suspect Skonto might at least scrape a draw, if they don't pull off an upset.
The only way this makes sense is on some casual parlay.

I actually agree with Ethan Jones5—Hajduk is significantly better even with these wingers in the lineup; it was pretty obvious during the first match.
Honestly, Hajduk dominated possession with about 75% of the ball, while Skonto looked completely lifeless—clearly outclassed.

If things open up today—which they will if they want to chase the deficit—they could easily get caught on a counter, especially since their attack isn't all that lethal. 🤷

Not sure about the handicap, but I think Hajduk takes it again today.

But I'm with you—this isn't a play for any serious bettor, maybe just a tiny wager if you're feeling adventurous.

Dammit, the guys had possession 75% of the time, while Schalke looked completely useless—you can tell they're totally outclassed.

If they open up today, which they have to if they want to chase the deficit, they could easily get caught on a counter, especially since their attack isn't all that lethal. 🤷

I'm not sure if the handicap will hit, but I think we take the win again today.

But yeah, I'm with you—this isn't worth a heavy bet, maybe just a tiny little flyer.

Last night I wanted to go for a straight two-goal win, but once I saw those odds, there was no way I could pass that up. :gambler:

The only way this game goes Schalke's way is if someone throws a wrench in the works early on and causes panic in our squad. In my opinion, I wasn't looking for some crazy long shot; I just figured because of the odds, the stakes are slightly higher than usual. Usually, I’d put money on a pair at around +100, but here I’m bumping up the stake because the value is too good.

Basically, I believe in our boys. Maybe for the first time since I started following the team, I don't have any doubts about us moving on. These guys are going to fight tooth and nail on the pitch; they aren't going to play safe with the scoreline, and Schalke simply can't keep up with them.

Man, I'm always the pessimistic one or the cautious guy, but for the first time, I'm actually feeling the hype...

It’s been a minute since I placed a "normal" bet, so here’s a little combo slip just for some pocket change

Atl. Mineiro vs. Santos FC....(07/27. 02:00)..1@1,50
SE Palmeiras vs. Bahia BA....(07/27. 02:00)..1@1,50
Skonto Riga vs. Hajduk Split.(07/26. 20:30)..2@2,45
@5,51

Eric Fox7 already broke down the first one, and I'm calling the Hajduk game a lock, while the Palmeiras pick is purely based on the standings. Honestly, 1.50 feels a bit low for Palmeiras given they haven't been exactly dominant lately. They're sitting at 15th with 10 points, while Bahia is dead last with 8. Palmeiras can hold their own at home, and Bahia is pretty rough—hoping they keep the streak going today.

The only way this bet pays off is if you're playing some joke parlay.

Man, you weren't kidding. Typical LA Galaxy road performance right there.👍

By the 60th minute, I actually stopped watching because it was obvious absolutely nothing was going to happen.

Eric Fox7 explained the first one—basically saying Hajduk is trash. As for Palmeiras, I'm looking at the standings. Honestly, 1.50 feels low for Palmeiras since their record isn't anything to write home about. They're sitting at 15th with 10 points, while Bahia is dead last with 8. Palmeiras pulls off a win at home every now and then, and Bahia is just rough... hoping they keep the streak going today.

Talk about hitting the bullseye.🤦

5:30 PM Banga vs. REO
pick: 1 @ 1.60

REO is dealing with a massive headache right now. It’s like they’re playing with a depleted roster because three of their guys just packed up and headed to Scandinavia—Grigalevičius (17 / 3), Jasaitis (16/0), and Rackus (15/0) are all gone. On top of that, they lost Solomin (14/1), Jakimavičius (19/0), and their backup keeper too. It's a total revolving door at the club. Meanwhile, Banga looks like they've finally found their rhythm, especially after that absolute clinic where they cruised to a 4-0 win against Dainava Alytus. Since that same Dainava squad actually shut out REO with a 2-0 win recently, it feels like the momentum is totally on the home side's side here. Taking the home win seems like the only play that makes sense.

Seattle Sounders 1.75
Big signings, huge hype... then zero points after game one. Now they've got a struggling Portland Timbers squad coming to town. Expecting Seattle to pull this off, even if it’s a 98th-minute miracle.

LA Galaxy 1.30
They look gassed after that Champions League match, but they're facing a bottom-feeder looking to just survive the season. Two home losses in a row for a "dominant" Galaxy side would be an absolute disaster.

LAFC 1.50
Wilmer has them playing some sharp football early on. Solid roster. The visitors from Savannah managed a draw against Grozny in the opener, but let's be real—they're one of the weaker sides in the league.

Brazil 1.20
What's there to say? Hopefully, they actually take things seriously against Belarus. They've been so inconsistent lately that I wouldn't even rule out the handicap.

Spartak Moscow 1.35
Spartak is going all-in this season. After dropping points in the first round, they need a win against Volga. Volga showed they can counter effectively, and thanks to some clumsy defending from Dynamo Moscow—specifically Kurany—they walked away with three points. Still, Spartak should be too much for them on the road.

@5,53 Germany

Since I'm still in full "all-in" mode because of Uruguay (my main play) and Atlanta United (my backup), I'm leaning hard into this. If anyone has a smart take that keeps me from being "double all-in" by Monday... let me hear it.🤣 🙂

Two Russians on the same parlay 😲

I usually steer clear of them—honestly, I think playing Spartak could be a total landmine. This one should hopefully hit (assuming I don't trip over my own feet by betting against a team like the Seattle Sounders too)

Got an early Saturday double for you guys:
12:00 LA Galaxy - Houston Dynamo
pick: 1 @ 1.65 Parlay

Houston is going to be feeling the sting of missing four of their regular starters: Kempes up front (18 games / 3 goals), Ogihara in the backline (17 games / 1 goal), Bo Kyung in the midfield (15 games / 7 goals), and Yamaguchi (18 games).

12:00 LA Galaxy - Houston Dynamo
pick: over 2.5 @ 1.50 Parlay

I’m leaning into this one because these two teams have this crazy history together where they just refuse to play defensive soccer; looking at their last seven matchups, they've smashed this line every single time, and honestly, most of them even cleared the 3.5 mark.
03.10.12 MLS Houston LA Galaxy 2 : 3
08.28.11 MLS LA Galaxy Houston 0 : 4
07.13.11 MLS Houston LA Galaxy 3 : 2
10.30.10 MLS Houston LA Galaxy 2 : 4
07.28.10 MLS LA Galaxy Houston 1 : 3
09.12.09 MLS Houston LA Galaxy 3 : 2
04.26.09 MLS LA Galaxy Houston 3 : 1

Given how Houston likes to play, I don't think I really need to go into a whole essay about why this makes sense. 🤷☕

Nicholas Chase34 said:A little early Saturday morning double header:
12:00 Kashiwa vs. Cerezo Osaka
pick: Home Win @ 1.65 US Odds

Cerezo Osaka is dealing with some significant absences, missing four key starters: Kempes up front (18 games / 3 goals), Ogihara in defense (17 games / 1 goal), Bo Kyung in the midfield (15 games / 7 goals), and Yamaguchi also in the middle (18 games).

12:00 Kobe vs. G-Osaka
pick: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.50 US Odds

I’m leaning toward this one based purely on the historical rivalry between these two clubs; in their last seven meetings, they’ve consistently cleared this line, often even pushing past the 3.5 mark.
03.10.12 MLS G-Osaka Kobe 2 : 3
08.28.11 MLS Kobe G-Osaka 0 : 4
07.13.11 MLS G-Osaka Kobe 3 : 2
10.30.10 MLS G-Osaka Kobe 2 : 4
07.28.10 MLS Kobe G-Osaka 1 : 3
09.12.09 MLS G-Osaka Kobe 3 : 2
04.26.09 MLS Kobe G-Osaka 3 : 1

Given how G-Osaka typically plays, I don't think I need to elaborate much further than that. 🤷☕

If I may add to that:
Sapporo vs. Nagoya - Over 2.5 @ 1.55 - Sapporo has been struggling quite significantly lately, managing just one win and one draw against sixteen losses in their recent head-to-head matchups, all of which saw the over hit:
Nagoya G vs. Consadole Sapporo 3:1
Nagoya G vs. Consadole Sapporo 2:1
Nagoya G vs. Consadole Sapporo 3:1
Consadole Sapporo vs. Nagoya G 1:3
All things considered:
-SAPPORO

out or injured: Takayanagi, Lee Ho Seung, Takaki, Kondo, Nakayama, T-Takahara

suspended: none

doubtful: Yokono, Maeda, Hikichi

-NAGOYA

out or injured: Isomura, Kennedy, Nagai, M-Takahara, Nakamura, Tamada

suspended: none

doubtful: none

My only real hesitation is that Nagoya is missing three attacking players; hopefully, someone else steps up to find the back of the net. 🤷

Nagoya G vs. Consadole Sapporo 3:1
Nagoya G vs. Consadole Sapporo 2:1
Nagoya G vs. Consadole Sapporo 3:1
Consadole Sapporo vs. Nagoya G 1:3
Looking at the current situation:

Suspensions: None

-NAGOYA

Magna Vienna vs. Rapid Chicago
C/P
Man, Rapid just absolutely crushed it with that 4-0 win, and honestly, seeing them play like that right out of the gate makes you think they’re legit title contenders this year. On the flip side, Neustadt had a rough start losing 2-0 to Mattersburg, and if they keep playing like that, their season is gonna be a total uphill battle. The club is basically facing a massive financial meltdown right now—they've lost nearly 20 players, which means almost the entire starting lineup has been swapped out for a bunch of guys who have never even shared a pitch together before. It’s kind of a mess, really.
