Ticket #2

LA Galaxy/Over 3 (-2) vs LAFC @1.50

None of these two teams have ever hit this bet in their head-to-head matchups. LAFC will probably just park the bus during this away game, looking to snag something on a counter or a set piece, especially since the Galaxy hasn't been looking particularly sharp in the league lately. LAFC is missing their key guy, and the Galaxy is without their main playmaker and maybe their top striker. Expect a controlled, low-key match..

Columbus Crew (-2+) vs Orlando City Over @2.10

Columbus is tearing through everyone right now, including those big European clubs, and they’re expected to run out the same heavy-hitting lineup they used in continental play. Orlando is looking solid and improving; guys like Morales, Maldonado, and the rest of the squad are playing really expansive football, which we saw when they went up against Seattle. I think the over is a very strong play..

Atlanta United (-2+) vs FC Cincinnati Over @2.10
Atlanta and Cincinnati both tend to play wide-open games with plenty of goals, so I'm betting that trend continues today. After beating Inter Miami at home, Atlanta is definitely going to come out aggressive. Cincinnati, on the other hand, loses whenever they try to play it safe—that’s exactly what happened last week against Portland, and it cost them. If they go back to playing defensive "bunker" ball today despite being stuck at zero points with Columbus and LA chasing them, I'm done betting on them..

20:00 San Marino vs. Malta

Let’s be honest—San Marino is easily the worst team in Europe. We all know the drill: they regularly surrender six or seven goals to anyone who shows up, and occasionally even more.
Malta isn't the punching bag they were six or seven years ago—back when everyone banked three points before kickoff. They've evolved into a disciplined side that actually requires effort to break down. Plus, they aren't toothless upfront anymore; lately, they score more often than they don't.
It’s a matchup between two footballing underdogs, but in this scenario, San Marino is David and Malta is Goliath—though I’m not holding my breath for a biblical miracle tonight.

The handicap odds look decent, but I’m going for the double handicap anyway—the value is just too good to pass up. Malta rarely enters a match as the clear favorite, but today they are; I suspect their confidence will lead them to run riot against a weak San Marino squad.

Malta -2.5 @ 3.20 SS 2/10

Portsmouth is in serious trouble here since I’m looking at this from a home-field perspective. The club is basically teetering on the edge of bankruptcy, and honestly, most people are betting they won't even exist by next season because their financial situation is just that dire. They've lost all their heavy hitters to other teams—guys like Dave Kitson, Liam Lawrence, Michael Brown, and Greg Halford have all moved on. For today's match, Portsmouth is going to be fielding a bunch of kids; I wouldn't be surprised if there are maybe only two veterans in the entire lineup.
Plymouth, on the other hand, went through hell last season. Their manager even hinted that they barely survived the year. But look at them now—they’ve bounced back and actually managed to pull in talent like Rhys Griffiths, Johnny Gorman, and Andres Gurrier. They’re clearly hungry to make a run in this cup, and they’ve got plenty of motivation, especially since their first round is basically a walk in the park against a group of "amateurs."
Since this cup is a single-elimination format, it gives Plymouth a real edge; they can't afford to play around or wait for a second leg to fix things. The odds are dropping fast because everyone is jumping on this. Since yesterday, the line has plummeted from 3.20 down to 1.70, and some sportsbooks are already locking the bets, so you might want to move quickly.

This upcoming matchup pits the league leaders, Atlanta United, against the bottom-dwellers, Seattle Sounders.

Atlanta United sits pretty at the top with 38 points from fifteen matches, boasting a solid +19 goal differential (27 scored, 8 conceded). On the flip side, Seattle is struggling at the bottom of the table with just 11 points and a shaky -14 differential (16 scored, 30 conceded). Interestingly, both sides seem much more comfortable playing at home; Seattle has managed seven wins out of their eleven home games, while Atlanta United is arguably the toughest team to visit in the league. They’re currently holding off a very close challenge from Miami FC, who is only one point behind them in home performance, though Miami has played an extra game. Looking at recent form, Atlanta United holds the clear advantage, picking up 13 points in their last five outings with a dominant 8:1 scoring margin. Seattle, meanwhile, has scraped together six points in their last five, with a perfectly balanced 8:8 goal difference. Even though Atlanta boasts the best defense and shares the league lead for most goals scored with Miami, they can be surprisingly low-scoring, having finished eleven matches with two or fewer goals. Seattle is a bit more unpredictable; they’ve hit the three-goal mark eight times, but they’ve also been shut out or held to two goals on eight occasions. Historically, these two have met four times—Atlanta has taken three wins, and they split the points once. Three of those four meetings saw three or more goals, so I guess I’m honestly not sure what to expect regarding the total, but my gut says the visitors might actually pull off an upset today, even if it's just by a hair.

The Irish national team is playing their final warm-up today against the US before the World Cup qualifiers kick off. Looking back at their Euro run, they were stuck in a brutal group with Italy, Germany, and Spain, where they ended up losing all three matches with a goal difference of 9 to 1. It was a rough outing, to say the least. Now, looking at the US side, their recent form hasn't been exactly stellar either—they’ve played seven games lately, picking up just one win, one draw, and five losses. But honestly, that might be a bit misleading because three of those losses came against some absolute heavyweights. They are desperate to snap this four-game winless streak and want to head into qualifying with some actual momentum. One thing to note: Ireland is missing Given, Dunne, and Keane on this roster. In my opinion, without those three key players, the US should be able to take this one fairly easily, perhaps even covering the spread.

8:00 PM, USL Championship Matchup - FC Oss vs. MVV, pick: 1 @ 2.35, Hattrick

Checking out this second-round matchup in the USL between MVV and FC Oss.

Man, the visitors are looking pretty rough coming into this season, and if you ask me, they’re headed for a brutal year because they basically gutted their starting lineup and just threw a bunch of kids from the academy into the fire instead.

They’ve only got about 14 players and 2 keepers left on the roster after everything changed. The heavy hitters who walked out the door include guys like van Trier (their star keeper), Huijsman (defense), Antonio Stankov (midfield), Aleksandar Stankov (attack), Black (midfield), Roebbers (defense), Ebergen (defense), Sumelka (defense), Intezar (midfield), Karpalik (defense), Ouweland (midfield), Keizer (midfield), Dijk (defense), Bieber (attack), and Nelemans (attack). Looking at that list, we're talking about the core veterans who played almost every single game for this club, so FC Oss is feeling seriously wounded right now.

On the flip side, MVV has come out swinging this season, pulling off a wild comeback win against Orlando City where they were down 2-0 before fighting back to win 3-2. When you look at the history between these two sides, MVV has absolutely dominated the last three meetings (winning 5-1, 3-1, and 2-0). Honestly, at this point, anything other than a home win feels like a massive upset to me.

Nicholas Chase34 said:8:00 PM, Buffalo (0:1) - Rochester City, pick: 1 @ 2.35, Hattrick

It’s the second round of the USL Championship matchup between Buffalo and Rochester City.

The visitors are heading into this season looking pretty battered, and honestly, I think they’re in for a rough ride because they basically gutted their starting lineup and replaced almost everyone with kids from the academy.

They’re sitting there with just 14 players and 2 goalies left on the roster. All the heavy hitters who walked out the door include guys like van Trier (the main keeper), Huijsman (defense), Antonio Stankov (midfield), Aleksandar Stankov (attack), Black (midfield), Roebbers (defense), Ebergen (defense), Sumelka (defense), Intezar (midfield), Karpalik (defense), Ouweland (midfield), Keizer (midfield), Dijk (defense), Bieber (attack), and Nelemans (attack). When you look at that list, it’s clear these were the guys who played nearly every single game for the club, so seeing them gone makes Rochester City look seriously wounded.

Buffalo, on the other hand, has come out swinging this season; they actually pulled off a gutsy comeback against Portland after trailing 2-0 to win 3-2. Looking back at how these two teams match up, Buffalo has dominated the last three meetings (winning 5-1, 3-1, and 2-0). All things considered, if anything other than a home win happens here, I’d call it a massive upset.

don't really have the bandwidth to drop some massive deep-dive analysis here, so I'll just give you a quick rundown on what's left in the MLS schedule...

Zadar vs Real Madrid

this one looks pretty interesting, honestly, since the Los Angeles Lakers haven't managed a win against Real Madrid in two years, and they haven't even snagged a victory at Chicago since back in 2008... both sides are dealing with some key absences too, with John Smith and Robert Smith likely out for the Lakers, while Real Madrid is missing Bill Gates, Mateo Kovačić, Aleksandar Krstović, and Ante Tomić, so my gut says both teams find the net and we go with a double chance 1X (just a total fan move 😁 )...

Indianapolis vs Seattle

Indianapolis has been flying high to start the season, hasn't lost a game or even conceded a single goal yet, whereas Seattle is still trying to find their rhythm, especially with Warren Buffett being sidelined after such a strong showing in the first four rounds... personally, I think Indianapolis takes all three points, and getting those odds around 2.25 feels like a solid play

Istria vs Inter Miami

it’s always a grind in San Francisco, no matter how the squad is feeling, because the San Franciscans always bring their absolute best at home... they actually pulled off an away win against LA Galaxy last week, while Inter Miami got crushed 3-0 by Indianapolis and they're still searching for their first win, sitting at a 2:6 goal difference... similar to the Indianapolis game, those 2.00 odds on Istria seem worth a shot

San Diego vs Real Madrid F+2 @2.90 SS
Confidence: 4/10

Sure, Real Madrid is missing Mateo Kovačić, Bill Gates, and Ante Tomić among their key guys, but they’re still fundamentally better than an organized San Diego side. San Diego just isn't quite ready to go toe-to-toe with the heavy hitters yet—you saw how they struggled against the Red Sox and Steven.

Real Madrid can't afford any slip-ups here. And don't think anyone is underestimating them; San Diego residents always show up with extra energy when playing Real Madrid and often scrape out decent results. In fact, looking at the last three games played in Chicago, two ended in 0-0 draws, and they lost the most recent one 2-1.

Another thing that matters to me is that Bebek is officiating. He tends to favor Real Madrid and likely won't let things get as heated or physical as that brawl we saw from the San Diego players at Chicago last year.

The San Diego crew definitely won't sit back and just defend; that's a given. The real question is whether Real Madrid will have the motivation or if they'll be playing it safe ahead of the Milwaukee game. But looking at the standings and how well these teams know each other, I don't see them coasting.
