1860 München - MSV Duisburg 1 1,70

Looks like 1860 München is on fire right now. MSV Duisburg? Absolute disaster class. Zero points in three games and a goal difference of 2:9. Might be worth looking at the handicap instead.

I'd say New York City is absolutely killing it right now, while Chicago is a total train wreck—zero points in three games and a goal difference of 2:9. Might even be worth looking at the handicap.

That’s what I thought too, but I passed on it... Chicago isn't actually that bad, their first three results were just garbage. They switched coaches, so anything could happen today... 1,70 is way too low for me.

They aren't a bad team. Not at all. But they've been stuck in a losing rhythm since last year, and it's bled right into this season. Once you learn how to lose, it becomes a psychological thing. I've been there before. Even when you're playing better, it's damn hard to break out of that cycle.

What do you think, would it be worth putting $67 on Chelsea FC? The odds are decent and they're looking sharp, but honestly, Radamel Falcao has me worried. He's relentless. Maybe just play the over 3...

Jesse Brown12 said:not a bad shout at those odds. i'm keeping an eye on this one too, let's see if it lands...😁

a bit swamped today, so i haven't had a chance to dig into the stats for the Los Angeles Lakers vs Indianapolis game yet, but even just looking at the table, a draw feels like a solid play... if i get a breather later i'll drop a full breakdown with my pick, but right now a tie seems most likely

didn't have time to run the numbers, unfortunately, but hey, maybe someone else's luck will hold up and we'll see a draw😍

Los Angeles Lakers vs Cibalia Vinkovci X2 1,75

Washington, D.C. is struggling, while Cibalia Vinkovci just pulled a draw against San Diego last week. Washington, D.C. is also dealing with some injuries, so with a few lineup changes, they might end up fielding some 17-year-old Dominik Livaković... Cibalia Vinkovci should walk away with at least a point from this trip

Criciúma - Red Bull Bragantino 1 @ 1.41 Pinnacle
Criciúma -1.5 @ 2.20 Pinnacle
Criciúma -2 @ 3.10 Bet365

Criciúma is sitting pretty in second place, and they’ve earned it by being absolute monsters at home—perfect 10-0-0 record with a goal difference of 28-12.
Red Bull Bragantino? They're basically bottom-feeders right now, sitting 3rd from the bottom. On the road, they’re a mess at 2-2-6 with a 6-12 goal difference. More importantly, they're on a disastrous 5-game losing streak where they've been outscored 11-1. Only once in those five games did they even manage to cover the spread.
Like I mentioned in an earlier post, Bragantino is dealing with a massive injury crisis today, and some of their key starters are out.

I’d run from statistics like this in the opposite direction of a bad omen. 😁
Aside from the midfielder Fransérg we already talked about (who’s sitting on 17 goals to just 2), Criciúma is still missing their starting keeper, Douglas. On another note, Red Bull Bragantino decided to swap out their manager after last round, bringing in some supposed "expert" who specializes in cleaning up absolute disasters.

For the NFL fans looking for some small bets:

NFL Week 2: Werder Bremen vs Hamburger SV (Saturday 15:30)

In week one, these two squads looked like night and day. Even after losing to Dortmund, Werder left a massive impression—you can tell they really leveled up their roster this year. With guys like Elia, Kevin De Bruyne, and Gebre Selassi, they have way more potential than last season... seriously. Plus, seeing them tear through that League Cup they won right before the season started? It’s obvious they’re stronger than ever. Even Arnautović seems to have checked his ego at the door and actually matured mentally since joining.

Hamburg, on the other hand, played absolute garbage against Nuremberg last week. They’ve been busy in the transfer market lately, though—bringing in Ante Badelj, Jiracek, and van der Vaart. You'd expect them to grow, but it's too early to tell since they still need to find any kind of chemistry. Based on their preseason, cup games, and the opener, they aren't exactly in top shape yet.

This North German derby is always a powder keg. Werder scores plenty, but man, they give up goals too. Because of that, there's a pretty safe play here for an over, maybe Werder to win, or if you're feeling gutsy, a handicap win.

NFL Week 2: Nuremberg vs Dortmund (Saturday 15:30)

For the stat nerds out there: Klopp has literally never lost to Nuremberg in official matches as the Dortmund manager—he's sitting on an 8-game winning streak. On top of that, Dortmund is currently on a 29-game unbeaten run stretching back to last season, and they're chasing that old record of 34 games held by HSV.
The two teams met in a preseason match where Nuremberg legend Marek Mintal said his goodbyes; Dortmund took that one, but let's be real—Dortmund was just getting their wind back and all the national team players were sidelined.

So, they brought in Reus, but Kagawa is gone... which basically makes it a wash right now, especially since they haven't figured out Reus's role yet and the squad isn't clicking. Lately, their defense, pressing, and whole defensive system have been a mess. Kirch stepped in for the injured Piszczek in the first round, but since he's recovered, he should be back at right back tomorrow. Honestly, recent trips to Nuremberg haven't been easy, even if the results for Dortmund looked decent on paper.

That's exactly why I think Dortmund won't take this lightly—they'll stay focused and grab the points. It's highly likely we see a 0:2 or 1:3 scoreline, so you could look at the handicap and/or the result in certain systems.

The odds are set, and Criciúma is still 100% dominant at home. 🙏

They had a total blackout from the 66th to the 78th minute, blowing a 2-0 lead just to end up at 2-2. 😢

Barnsley vs Bristol City X2 @ 1.45, or for the bold, 2 @ 2.6

Just like Jacob Torres21 already pointed out, Barnsley is dealing with a massive headache regarding injuries. Not only is this squad basically looking at relegation from the Championship this year, but they're missing a ton of key players too. Their manager, Hill, even admitted he’s only got about 12 seniors training alongside the youth academy kids. Can you believe that?
After a decent start in the first round, they fell apart against Wolverhampton and Brighton on the road, giving up 8 goals total. Seriously, what are they doing?

On the flip side, Bristol City is riding high after two solid home wins against Cardiff City and Crystal Palace, and they'll likely field the exact same lineup today against Barnsley. Given how bad things look for the home side, this could be the perfect chance for them to start picking up points away from home after that 1-0 loss in Nottingham during week one.

Good luck 🙂

Barnsley vs Bristol ended 1:0. Typical.

With all those missing players and just a generally weak roster, even a point wasn't enough for Bristol—and honestly, not even Barnsley picking up a red card in the 52nd minute could save them.

I've got nothing to say.

Got some picks on deck 🤣
Looking for some winners here. These 🙂 look solid to me for now:
PSV Eindhoven-AZ Alkmaar (02.09. 14:30) 1@1,50
Both played on 08/30. AZ got absolutely crushed at home, while PSV just cruised through with a massive scoring spree. The visitors struggle on the road, whereas PSV is dominant at home.

Galatasaray-Bursaspor (02.09. 19:30) 1@1,50
The visitors were playing UEFA qualifiers on 08/30 and had to go into extra time—definitely took a toll. I doubt they've recovered in just two days. Plus, they’re pretty bad away from home compared to how the hosts play at home.

Also liking this one: Steaua Bucharest-Oțelul Galați 1@1,50. Only thing is Steaua played on the 30th, but I don't think they burned too much energy; might have just served as a high-intensity training session. 🤷

Gotta watch those Turkish clubs closely. Bursa was buying up a ton of talent this summer... definitely need to dig a bit deeper into their roster before betting big.

Two matches that were basically screaming "GOALS!!!!!" were Inter vs. Roma and Barca vs. Valencia.

Roma’s got Zeman now, and all he cares about is the attack. Stramaccioni is cut from the same cloth—Zeman is his hero—just a younger version of the same philosophy.😍
Barcelona’s defense looks totally lost right now, though I still expect them to cruise to a win. That was pretty much the vibe last season: they'd stumble once, then absolutely demolish whoever showed up at the Camp Nou the next match. Still, Valencia has enough firepower to make things messy.

I was talking about odg3+ 🙂 I didn't say anything definitive

Zeman’s squads have zero clue how to defend 🙂

Eddie Howe should be able to dismantle Aston Villa just as easily. There’s no reason Benfica 1igp2+ shouldn't cruise through ☕

The odds on that 3+ are pretty low, only 1.80 🙂

Ugh... what now? Should I just split it into two parlays? 🙂

edit:
That's a weak payout for a 4+ 🤷

Sure, they're Dutch teams and they love to score, but betting on over 3.5 goals at those odds is just asking for trouble—the value isn't there. 🤷

Heerenveen vs. Ajax……………..2 & Ajax 2+ (1.75)

So, after missing out on that Champions League spot, Van Basten actually called out the club executives last week—basically saying they aren't doing enough to help him build a championship-caliber squad...
In other words, they didn't come through on those promises to bring in the big-name signings he was asking for. Because of all that, the team is just playing with whatever energy they have left in the tank right now.
I mean, when I look back at how Heerenveen played last year—crushing it at home with two, three, even four goals a game—and then you see them now...
It is night and day! Seriously. Their top talent walked out the door, and you can feel the void everywhere. This roster basically has zero offensive teeth—they’ve only managed one single goal in their last three matches.
Plus, they’re missing two key guys in the defense, Zomer and Kum,
both out with injuries.
Now, Ajax? They are absolutely cooking... 13 goals in three games and they look unstoppable.
Even over on the local Heerenveen fan forums, everyone is talking about this matchup, and honestly? Like 95% of them are calling for a blowout—predicting scores like 0-3, 1-4, 1-3, or even 1-6!
Even though Van Basten told reporters, "...anything is possible, maybe even a good result for the home side..."—man, I just don't see it happening.
Not with the way they're playing, especially with those defensive holes and an Ajax squad that is feeling themselves right now. Heerenveen is just going to fold here.

Southampton vs. Man Utd………2 & Man Utd 2+ (1.80)

I really don't see how Southampton stops the onslaught from Van Persie, Kagawa, Nani, and Valencia...
And hey, Evans is coming back to the backline, so pairing up with Vidic, he should be much more solid than when Carrick was holding things down against Fulham last time.
I will give credit where it's due, though—Southampton might grab a goal because their attack isn't half bad,
but Man Utd is definitely going to outscore them. That Southampton defense, filled with guys who are basically nobodies like Hoylev and Fonte,
just won't be able to hold up under pressure.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Tromso………….1 (2.00)

Tromso is officially out of the hunt for European contention. Their coach mentioned the players have been pretty depressed and out of sorts lately...
I wonder how much that’s going to hurt when they face a high-flying Minnesota team that has had the entire week to gear up specifically for this fight. We'll see...
My money is on a Tromso loss. First off, Minnesota is in incredible form, and second, these Tromso guys look mentally exhausted and shaken after that tough loss in Belgrade.
Check out these numbers:
In the last 25 games played at Minnesota's stadium,
Tromso has only managed 3 wins,
there were 5 draws,
while Minnesota has stomped home with 17 wins and a massive goal differential of 45-22!
Looking at the last 7 league games, Minnesota is sitting at 5-2-0, while Tromso has been one of the worst traveling teams in the league.
Anything other than a home win would be a total shocker.

Thun vs. Servette..............1 (2.00)

I’ve caught a few Servette games this season, and man... they just keep getting worse. It’s like they can't find the bottom floor.
Back when they played Grasshoppers, Servette's defense looked like something you'd see in a low-level semi-pro league in the middle of nowhere...
It was almost embarrassing to watch. Honestly, Grass could have easily cruised to an 8-0 win. They are just bad—probably the worst squad in the league, if we're being real.
On the flip side, Thun has had a brutal run lately against the heavy hitters like Grass, Basel, and St. Gallen,
dropping three straight, but let's be honest—those are the best teams in the league so far.
After three tough losses, this is the perfect setup for a bounce-back win...
They get to host a mediocre Servette team (maybe I'm being too harsh and Thun pulls it off, but from what I've seen, Servette is a mess).
I'm riding with Thun to take it in front of their home crowd.

Real Madrid vs. Granada……1 (1.10)
Benfica vs. Nacional ….1 (1.20)
