All the favorites fell through yesterday 👋

Looking at today’s slate—especially after going 0 for 8 on yesterday's favorites—I’ve been weighing a single bet on Manchester City against Liverpool. Personally, I think the 2.45 odds represent massive value for a side currently battling for the title, especially when you consider they're facing an opponent that already dropped a 3-0 match to West Bromwich in the opening round. In my view, that kind of price exists solely because of the Reds' storied history and prestige, rather than their current form.

Best of luck to everyone 👍

Sun, 17:00 Liverpool - Man. City City 2 2,50 Bet365 2/10

I’m with wanderingfox86 on this one—City looks like the smart play today. Liverpool seems to be regressing every single year; they have Gerard and maybe two other actual talents, but the rest of the squad is essentially junk. Stevie isn't exactly a youngster anymore, and he can't carry them to the Champions League alone—especially not against a powerhouse like City, who have two lineups capable of fighting for a top-four spot.
After that disastrous loss to WBA in the opening round, Liverpool needs a massive overhaul. These half-baked players haven't delivered results since the Rafa Benitez era.
I'll be putting a small wager on the away win.

Ned, 5:00 PM Liverpool - Man. City City 2 2,50 Bet365 2/10

I’m totally on board with wanderingfox86 here, I really think it’s worth taking a shot on City today. Honestly, Liverpool seems to be sliding downhill every single year; they’ve got Gerard and maybe two other actual stars, but the rest of the squad is basically just filler. Stevie isn't exactly some young kid anymore, so he can't carry the whole team into the Champions League on his own—especially not when they're facing a powerhouse like City, who have two players that could easily fight for a top four spot in the league any day of the week.
After that absolute disaster of a loss to WBA in the opening round, they seriously need to shake things up because this group of semi-pros hasn't been delivering anything worthwhile since the old Rafa Benitez days.
I’m going to put down a small wager on the double.

I'm with you, and honestly, it wouldn't hurt to also try Tevez scores @ 2.70 SS; since Aguero is out, I’m expecting him to step up and play way better than usual.☕

gais Göteborg-AIK Stockholm 2 2,30

The home side is sitting near the bottom of the table, trailing the playoff spots by about 8 points, and looking at their recent run, they've only managed two draws in their last eight matches—everything else has been a loss. On the other hand, the visitors are right in the mix for a spot in Europe. My only real hesitation is that they have an EL second leg coming up, so they might decide to rotate some players or rest a few starters, but even so, I'm thinking a home win isn't really out of the question here.

Props to you 👍

I didn't even get a chance to place my bet—missed it by just a few minutes because some guy in front of me at the convenience store was taking forever, just fumbling around with his stuff... and then I suddenly remember this game! But yeah, well, too little too late, I guess🙂

Reykjavik FC vs Fram
Just going off the stats here—plus that weird gut feeling you get about how things run in the Icelandic leagues 🙂
I’m eyeing a 2-1 scoreline (interestingly, the last four matches ended exactly like that) (@ 7.15 at HL, though we might see a better price live on SS). Of course, if you want to be a bit bolder, there's the Over 2.5 goal line (@ 2.05 at the Lottery), or just stick to the Over 2.5 (@ 1.5 at SS) if you’re playing it safe 🙂
I actually toyed with the Double Chance 2/1 (@ 28 at HL), even though my gut is telling me this might end in a draw or a home win 🤔

Kickoff is in less than thirty minutes.

Just eyeballing the stats—and honestly, just going off a gut feeling about how the MLS plays lately—🙂
I’m eyeing a 2:1 scoreline (their last four matchups all ended exactly like that) (@ 7.15 at Lotto, though maybe we see a better price live on SS). Of course, you could go for the Over 2.5 goals (@ 2.05 at Lottery) if you're feeling slightly bolder, or just stick to the Over 2.5 (@ 1.5 on SS) if you want to play it safe. 🙂
I actually tried a double chance 2/1 (@ 28 at Lotto), even though my gut keeps telling me it might end in a draw. 🤔

1:1

Hit the woodwork. Seriously? Just my luck. 😢

Dynamo Moscow-VfB Stuttgart both teams to score at 1.65
Dynamo is coming into this one feeling incredibly motivated—they’re definitely going to hunt for an early goal because, let's be real, trying to claw back from a 2:0 deficit is a massive mountain to climb...
Stuttgart knows they need just one goal to basically seal their ticket through, and while they walked away with a nice advantage from the first leg, they can't afford to sit on their hands—they have to go out there and find that equalizer.
Dynamo really found their rhythm and regained some much-needed confidence after beating Lokomotiva, so they'll be playing to grab a win today that could potentially keep their progression hopes alive.
Which basically means more space for Stuttgart to exploit in front of the Dynamo goal, especially since the visitors look absolutely lethal on the counter...

Sheffield Wed.-Fulham Over 2.5 goals at 1.75
Capital One Cup
Sheffield has been playing some seriously high-octane stuff lately—super efficient in front of the net, scoring 8 but coughing up 6 in the process.
We're looking at an average of over 4 goals per match here. They’ve got a killer attack, but man, that back line is shaky and honestly pretty unreliable...
Fulham showed a lot of flashes of brilliance in the first two rounds—I mean, they absolutely dismantled Norwich 5:0, and even that 3:2 loss over at Old Trafford was one of those games where you could barely look away, even if the result wasn't in their favor.
This cup tie is wide open, both sides are playing such aggressive, attacking football that expecting goals isn't just a guess—it's a no-brainer.
Back in 2009, they faced off in the FA Cup, and Fulham managed to pull off a 1:2 win.

Tue, 20:45 Maribor Dinamo

Maribor -1.5 @ 6.00 (5.71 without juice) Favorite 1/10

Dinamo traditionally struggles during away legs in Canada.
We can only hope there isn't a panic attack after that convincing performance against Koper in the first leg.
The Dinamo squad isn't playing anything special—their manager lacks tactical depth—and they certainly won't be favorites tonight in Maribor.
The Canadian side isn't elite, but they are more than capable of making life difficult for our champions.
The handicap odds look attractive for three reasons: first, Dinamo has never really shined during European away trips, and this group is no exception. Second, if the Canadians hold a lead late in the game, Dinamo will be forced to commit everyone forward—I don't see a 3-2 scoreline where Dinamo advances on away goals—which leaves them wide open to conceding even more. Third, there's that tendency for panic to set in when things go south for Dinamo, coupled with their awkward history in these Canadian away fixtures.

Maribor - Dinamo x2 1.50 (1.51 @stanley)
The only way I can justify odds looking this balanced is because it's a home game, though honestly, even then, Dinamo seems like the slight favorite to just take all three points. Maribor looked decent against the Sheriff, I guess, but they weren't quite on the same level as Ludogorets; meanwhile, Dinamo managed to escape both those teams with their heads intact—even if their actual play was pretty terrible. Today, the pressure might be a little less suffocating since they’re sitting on a good result rather than having to chase one for the future. I really don't expect them to put in a performance as disastrous as the one we saw in Razgrad or Moldova—not at a team or individual level, anyway. In that first match, the Canadians weren't exactly bad, but neither side was anywhere near playing perfect football. Still, Maribor doesn't have much room to actually step things up, whereas Dinamo has a bit more potential... though, using results as a metric after that first away leg, I'm expecting a win today just to help bump up the odds for later.
QPR - Walsall - 1 1.35 (@SS)
There's just too much money riding on the home side not to see them show something meaningful in the Carling Cup over the next week or two. You'll probably see some of QPR's bench players out there, but even those guys should be motivated—I mean, they've got City coming up soon, so they might treat this cup match as a chance to prove themselves to the manager and stay in the rotation for league play. Walsall is a third-tier side that started the season with a 1-1-1 record through the first three rounds, and they weren't exactly convincing in the cup prelims with that 1-0 win. Last year, they were barely staying above the relegation zone in the third tier—Ligue 1 style thinking, I suppose.

zoom-zoom Jacob Torres21 said:So, what’s the move, you degenerates? We’ve got a massive slate of games hitting the field today in the Europa League... anyone else's brain feeling a bit fried trying to map this out? I'm currently staring at the schedule, trying to find some logic in the madness—any brainstorming sessions happening? 😕

It’s a total disaster—Dila Gori is sitting at 1 win and 1 draw, and they’ve basically wiped out Cipranin and Dance. Honestly, looking at their domestic form, it seems like they’ve completely checked out of the league just to chase an EL spot—I mean, three losses in the first three rounds? That’s a bold strategy, if you can even call it that.
The odds are looking pretty juicy—I’m talking 3.85 on the 1 (Parlay) and a massive 9.05 on the handicap (HL). Definitely worth a look.
They dropped that first one 1-0 over in Portugal.
Our guy Skender misliti is stepping up to guard the net against the Georgians. 🙂

Honestly, I think both Bordeaux and Newcastle deserve some credit here—they both managed draws in those first legs—and let’s be real, they’re significantly better sides than Zvezda or Atromitos. Then you've got Dnipro, featuring our guys Strinić and Kalinić; word on the street is they've actually put together a pretty solid squad this season. They really ought to be walking away with a win against Liberec, even if a 0-0 or a 1-1 draw would suit them just fine. The only issue is that the odds are frankly ridiculous—looking at 1.35, 1.35, and 1.45... it's just not worth the headache.

Word on the street is Newcastle is rolling out a pretty ridiculous lineup. With odds this laughable, I wouldn't touch them with a ten-foot pole. 😁

LA Galaxy are basically playing their bench too, but Zack is supposedly so pathetic that even that will be plenty. LA Galaxy -2.5

Liverpool 0/1 @3,50
Chelsea 0/1 @3,70
Marseille 0/1@3,50

Total bet $1.75 553

- Bordeaux is way stronger than a club currently falling apart with terrible recent results.
- Newcastle is two levels above Armitano, and since the first leg was a draw, they basically have to win this one.
- These three home teams are a class above their opponents. They'll likely play it smart and won't rush a victory in the first half.

The other matchups are decent too, but these ones are practically freebies. ☕

Le Havre - Monaco over 2,5 @ 2.28 Pinnacle

In the first five rounds, both sides cleared this line four times. They only went under against Lens and Laval—teams that play a much more physical game.
Solid odds here. It'd be a mistake to pass on this one.
