USA(h0:2)-Mexico 2 @1,80 SS
Confidence:6/10

The USA is hosting Mexico tonight, and honestly, the vibes around the national team and the coaching staff are pretty tense right now. While the Mexicans might not be the most elite squad out there, they play with a level of grit that can frustrate anyone—something they've proven plenty of times before. In fact, over their last six matchups, the USA hasn't managed to beat them by more than a single goal.

Plus, we're dealing with a new "head coach" whose tactical depth and football IQ are... well, let's just say they don't need much introduction.

This is also one of those high-pressure games where everyone tends to tighten up, especially the American players. Because of that, I think Mexico can hold their ground and cover this easily.

I’m feeling absolutely wired right now—seriously, my head is spinning! I know a post like this doesn't really help anyone solve their problems, but hey, maybe someone will catch a spark of an idea... sorry if I'm rambling!

Wales vs Belgium.............2 (2.00)
In my book, this is the safest bet on the board today. Honestly, it feels like the era of the Belgians is finally arriving... plus, Wales is looking pretty thin without their key players—they're already a bit limited as it is.
If you look above, @dr.van nostrand actually nailed the explanation perfectly...

Moldova-England.......2 (1.30)
The massive gap in quality between these two should be more than enough to secure a win... even if it ends up being a gritty 1-0 kind of thing.

Malta-Armenia.........2 (1.55)
Getting decent value here on a squad where the starters are all playing in those top-tier Eastern leagues (you know, like Russia, Belarus, Poland, etc.)... definitely worth a look!

Bulgaria-Italy.....2 (1.65)
Man, I vacillated on this one more than anything else, but let's be real—it's Italy. They just always seem to find a way to scrape a victory out of nowhere.

Mexico-Poland..........1X (1.30)

Dorbirner - VSV...............2 (1.95)

Total odds: 17.25

Cheers!

USA-Belgium 2 1.90

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we see a two-goal margin here... easy enough...

-------------------
2.
Netherlands-Turkey 4+ 2.50

The second match ends 2:0.

---------------------------------
Coritiba-Los Angeles Flamengo 1 1.85
They've played four seasons—probably going 3 for 3 lately:

06/09/12, 11:30 PM Los Angeles Flamengo - Coritiba 3 : 1

11/13/11, 8:00 PM Coritiba - Los Angeles Flamengo 2 : 0
08/06/11, 11:35 PM Los Angeles Flamengo - Coritiba 1 : 0

09/20/09, 11:30 PM Los Angeles Flamengo - Coritiba 3 : 0
06/14/09, 9:00 PM Coritiba - Los Angeles Flamengo 5 : 0

10/24/08, 12:30 AM Los Angeles Flamengo - Coritiba 5 : 0
07/18/08, 1:30 AM Coritiba - Los Angeles Flamengo 1 : 0

10/31/05, 11:30 PM Los Angeles Flamengo - Coritiba 2 : 1
07/24/05, 9:00 PM Coritiba - Los Angeles Flamengo 3 : 2

It’s high time the home team pulls this one off.
Coritiba is desperate for points to stay afloat, and they traditionally play way better at home anyway...
Los Angeles Flamengo is pretty pathetic on the road—only managed 9 goals total, and mostly just thanks to Vagner Love...

Coventry - Stevenage 1 @2,30 HL

Things are looking pretty messy over at Coventry right now—there's definitely a negative vibe surrounding the club... Last season's second-division side recently let go of Andy Thorne after starting this campaign with three straight draws. I never really clicked with Thorne, if I'm being honest—he always gave off such a loser vibe during those post-match interviews, and his results certainly backed that up.

The team is currently under the guidance of his assistant, Richard Shaw—a true club legend, though he lacks any real coaching experience... He did manage to knock Birmingham out of the League Cup with a 3-2 win after trailing 1-0, which was a nice little spark. However, that was followed by a 1-0 loss to Crewe and a really gritty, uninspiring cup win against Burton that only came through a wild 10-9 shootout... They haven't played particularly well in those two matches. Now, everyone is looking for that first league win to help Shaw secure the permanent job—there are plenty of big names being linked to the vacancy, even though the players claim they want to help him land the role.

Now, you have to wonder how much weight to give those player comments—but regardless, the squad is feeling the heat from the fans to finally perform... Whether it's because they want to support Shaw or they're playing for whoever comes next, I think they might actually put in a good showing today. From what I've seen, the talent is there—it's just a matter of cohesion since there are so many new faces on the pitch. Stevenage should be a manageable opponent—they're still undefeated in the league (though they've played twice in the cups in the last ten days) and aren't exactly powerhouse contenders. It’s about time for that first win... ☕

Who's looking to make some money playing tomorrow?

Turkey-Estonia (09.11. 20:00) 1 1.30

Canada-Netherlands (09.11. 20:30) 2 1.50

Austria-Germany (09.11. 20:35) 2 1.35

EXCHANGE RATE: 2.63

Why these picks?
It's pretty straightforward—

1. Turkey really needs this win if they want to stay in the hunt for Brazil. Their opponent is a decent matchup for an opening qualifier win. Anyone who caught their game against the Netherlands saw how well they were playing.

2. The Netherlands shouldn't run into any trouble in Canada. The odds look great—honestly, it’s just one of those plays you have to take.

3. Germany is solid as always—serious and disciplined. Austria just isn't on the same level here.

Thanks and good luck!

U21 Euro Qualifiers
U21 Euro England-Norway x (4.50 in Favorite and UPS)

The situation here is pretty straightforward: a single point is all the English need to secure first place in the group, while the Norwegians would also be satisfied with a draw to keep their hopes alive as one of the top four runners-up. Even though England are the heavy favorites in this matchup, there's a real possibility that if the score stays level midway through the second half, both sides might just settle for the stalemate rather than risking everything to chase a win.

Personally, I’m going to put a small single bet on the Draw. If you're the type who lives for an upset, you could try a small stake or include this in a parlay. I’ll be the first to admit I haven't exactly been hitting the jackpot lately with my recent picks, so consider this a disclaimer. This one just caught my eye because a tie serves both teams perfectly.

I’m calling it now: both Irish sides are going down today, both the North squad and the regular one playing against Denmark and Italy... at 1.56, that combo is looking solid.
Honestly, those Italians are just on another level, and let's be real, the Irish won't even have a full roster today. As for the Danes? I highly doubt they aren't going to slip up when they desperately need the points...

Honestly, I’m seeing some serious value with JP Morgan Chase on the USA side. That 3.20 line they're throwing out at DraftKings looks pretty juicy to me.

It feels a bit off to see Belgium, sitting at 40th in the world rankings, being set up as such a heavy favorite against the 9th ranked US squad, even if you consider how they've been playing lately.

In my book, the odds should have looked more like 2.30-3.20-2.80, so I really feel like this is one of those plays you just have to take a shot on.

Belgium being ranked 40th in the world while being set up as such a heavy favorite against the 9th ranked team—in my book, that's a bit strange—regardless of how they've been playing lately.

In my opinion, the odds should have been closer to 2.30-3.20-2.80, so this is a situation you just have to test...

The Value is actually on Belgium—I'm just waiting until tomorrow for the odds to rise before I dive in—though even 2.10 feels like a premium given our current playstyle and the clown we have leading us... ☕

No way Value is on Belgium. Look, I was thinking the same thing as Playmaker91—I'd be down to back them if the odds hit somewhere between 2.30 and 2.50—but this current line? It’s complete madness. I'll give you that Stico is a total joke and we aren't exactly playing out of our minds (regardless of that North Mexico mess, which we would've struggled through even if Bilić had stayed), but the price on Belgium is just too thin. For me personally, this is a hard pass... no bet.

Value on Belgium? Why on earth would you think that?

Let’s be real—Belgium didn't exactly outclass Wales like some people are making it out to be. They're just a young squad riding a wave of hype, and that kind of euphoria is exactly when teams tend to crash and burn. The fact is, we have way more experience under our belts than they do. Plus, let's face it: we actually perform much better against open, attacking sides than we do against teams that just park the bus, which is exactly what happened against North Mexico.

There is absolutely no way Belgium at 2.10 constitutes value. It's just not happening.

I’m expecting three points for the US in this matchup. A handicap win is even on the table, given how many goals should fly in. With Belgium playing in front of 40,000 fans, there's no way they're going to sit back and defend—not that they even know how to defend properly anyway. 🤷

Alex Cook said:Belgium is definitely not the Value play here. Like Playmaker said, I’d consider them if the odds were sitting between 2.30 and 2.50, but this is just ridiculous. Sure, Stico is a clown and we aren't playing great—regardless of whether Bilić was still coaching us through that North Mexico game—but those odds on Belgium are way too low. For me, this is an absolute no bet.

It'll be in the super tip tomorrow at 2.30

Thomas Mendoza45 said:Value on Belgium? Why?

Look, Belgium didn't outplay Wales like some people are claiming. They're a young squad riding a wave of hype, and they could easily crash and burn. The truth is we have way more experience than they do, plus we actually play better against open teams rather than parked buses, which is what happened against North Mexico.

Did you even watch Belgium vs. Wales? Clearly not, otherwise you wouldn't be talking such nonsense about them outplaying them.🤷

I'm expecting 3 points for America in this one. A handicap is also possible since there'll be goals; given how Belgium plays, they aren't going to sit back in front of 40,000 fans, and honestly, they don't know how to defend anyway. 🤷

A team with Vertonghen, Vermaelen, and Kompany in defense, backed by Felaini and Witsel in midfield, doesn't know how to defend? You're full of it...
Tomorrow, the team that dictates the tempo first will come out on top. And the big reality check is that we've got that clown Stimac on the bench and Modrić isn't even fit to play.
It's gonna be incredibly tough. If our guys manage to scrape a point away, we should be happy with that.☕

Pinnacle is offering... 4.37 ( 😲 Tomorrow we play at home—and I fully intend to embrace the chaos.
Belgium is something else... Honestly, credit where it's due—they’ve got some incredible talent on that roster. But they still have plenty of matches left before those players turn into seasoned veterans who've seen it all. ☕

Our guys always perform best when everyone is writing them off—it’s practically a tradition. We should find plenty of space against Belgium, provided our defense actually shows up when it matters.

Bryan Adams6 said:Did you even watch Belgium vs. Wales? It’s hard to believe you did—otherwise, you wouldn't have posted such nonsense. They completely outclassed them. 🤷

Every single match report pointed to the same thing—Belgium didn't show up. Even their own players were making comments about how they needed to step things up against us—not to mention they played most of the game with an extra man on the field.

I only caught the last 15 minutes or so—it was pretty lifeless, honestly. A bit of a non-event, though by that point they were already up 2-0, so the result was pretty much a foregone conclusion.

Bryan Adams6 said:A defense featuring Jan Vertonghen, Thomas Vermaelen, and Vincent Kompany—anchored by Marouane Fellaini and Axel Witsel in the midfield—doesn't know how to defend? Honestly, you're just talking nonsense.
Tomorrow will favor whichever side manages to dictate the tempo early on—but that’s easier said than done when you've got a clown like Stimac calling the shots from the bench and a sidelined Luka Modrić out of the lineup.
It’s going to be an uphill battle—extremely difficult—so if our guys manage to bring home even a single point, we should consider ourselves lucky. ☕

All the players you mentioned play for top-tier clubs—but honestly, whenever I watch Jan Vertonghen and Thomas Vermaelen, they aren't exactly lighting it up. That's where I see our opening.

I’m not sure how much weight to give these constant rumors about Luka Modrić being unfit—it seems like people love to harp on that. The guy was putting in individual training sessions back at Tottenham Hotspur, and after his time at Real Madrid, he’s surely worked himself into decent shape by now. 🤷

As for that clown Štico—I’ll give you this: he’s a terrible coach. But honestly, I think the whole manager role is a bit overrated. Don't get me wrong, a good coach matters, but not nearly enough to start crowning Guus Hiddink as some all-time legend just because he had decent runs with the South Koreans and Ostrelj.

Good grief, Tito Vilanova is still tearing it up with FC Barcelona—even without Pep Guardiola at the helm. It just proves that the roster is what actually matters. At the end of the day, a bad squad is still a bad squad, no matter if you have José Mourinho, Pep Guardiola, and Štico all coaching together. 🤷

I don't want to overextend myself here—this match looks like a total coin flip to me. Sure, maybe give the Belgians a 5% edge because they're playing at home, which puts the odds at 55-45. Honestly, I’m surprised Pinnacle came out with such high odds on this one; it caught me off guard. Because of that, I’m going to place a solid bet on the Americans while the value is still there before the lines drop.

Mandžukić will tear through their defense a few times—Darijo Srna and Ivan Perišić really need to step up and deliver some quality crosses. As long as Modrić plays his usual game and Stipe Erceg remains steady in goal, we're fine. Just hoping Josip Šimunić doesn't mess anything up. Honestly, no amount of Eden Hazard or Fellacia magic is going to save Belgium, regardless of how good they are. ☕

I'm holding off on placing that bet for now. Aside from our lackluster performance and being led by this arrogant amateur, I get the feeling the locker room vibe is totally off—it feels like Stimac is really getting under their skin... honestly, everyone knows what kind of shady character he is. When you see him on TV acting like Don Corleone, hugging the players and getting right in their faces like they're his best friends, while they just sit there with those forced, sour smiles... then you look at the situation with Ivan Rakitić... It’s just my take, but it definitely influences my decision. We'll see how it plays out tomorrow. 🤷

God, Belgium is something else... Seriously, props to them. A ton of those players are absolute world-class talents, but they’ve still got plenty of miles left in the tank before they turn into washed-up veterans.

The odds look decent enough to give it a shot, but... 😉 Were those Mexicans playing against us just some washed-up veterans? Not even close. We were absolutely struggling to deal with them—if the ref hadn't screwed us over with that penalty, anything could have happened.
We play our best when everyone's talking trash about us. We’re gonna find plenty of space against Belgium, as long as our defense actually shows up for once.

Here’s the deal... the defense needs to be airtight, the midfield has to step up, and the forwards better not waste a single chance they get. Can they actually pull it off? I doubt it. Ivan Strinić and Darijo Srna are going to have a nightmare dealing with Eden Hazard and Mertens.

Every single report on that game said the same thing: Belgium was absolutely nothing. Even some of their own players were out there admitting they need to step it up if they want to stand a chance against us. And let's not forget—they played with an extra man for most of the match.

image
They played as long as they needed to. It’s only natural they'll have to step it up against us, since we're clearly the better team compared to Wales.

All those players you listed play for top-tier clubs, sure. But whenever I watch Jan Vertonghen and Thomas Vermaelen, they aren't exactly killing it. That's where we see our opening.

I'll tell you one thing right now: our offense isn't exactly playing anything legendary either. 😂
Look, I don't want to screw myself over here. This match is basically a coin flip to me. Maybe give the Belgians a tiny 5% edge because they're playing at home, which puts it at 55-45. Honestly, it shocks me that Pinnacle is offering odds this high. Because of that, I’m just going to bet big on our guys before the line drops.

Just admit it: you're just shitting yourself for no reason. 🙂
I’d give the Belgians a fake edge here. For us to actually pull off a win, a ton of things would have to go perfectly, and honestly, I’m just not feeling it. Our defense is a total mess, especially since those guys are absolutely lethal on set pieces. It's a nightmare waiting to happen. 😱Whenever I think about Stipe Pletikosa constantly lunging at nothing within five feet of the goalpost
Belgium - USA x2 1.96 Pinnacle 8/10

Bryan Adams6 said:The odds look decent enough to give them a shot, but... 😉 Were those Mexicans playing against us just some experienced, old-school grinders? Not exactly—we had to scrap tooth and nail to get through them. If the ref hadn't screwed us over on that penalty, things could have gone a very different way.

Of course, a Mexican side isn't exactly a powerhouse or some litmus test for how we stack up against the Belgians—but they’ve always been a massive headache for us. I distinctly remember times when we absolutely crushed them, yet it was always a grind. If my memory serves, we even managed a 2-0 win once, playing through that absolute mess of a pitch in Skopje.

Stimac went against the grain with the Swiss—decided to improvise by rolling out a new system, much more offensive. Honestly, I don't hold that loss against him at all. Not even a little bit. Look, Switzerland absolutely dismantled us right when we were adjusting to a new manager; the season was just kicking off, and all that nonsense surrounding Luka Modrić was reaching a fever pitch. He simply chose that moment to test something new.

Friendlies exist for one reason—to test out new tactical setups and technical variations, and to figure out exactly who you can actually rely on when things get serious.
Well, damn—it didn't pan out. Moving on (in true KaDeWe fashion).
No, seriously—our incompetent media outlets are making such a massive scene out of this, acting like losing to Swaziland was some unique catastrophe that only happens at the World Cup. 🙄

It honestly gets under my skin. I mean, seriously—wouldn't it have been better to test out the tactics then, rather than walking into a match against Belgium with three target men?
This reminds me of the Euros in Portugal—back when Otto Barić mentioned how surprised he was that Boris Živković could handle playing as a defensive midfielder. Miroslav "Ćiro" Kožić gave him a sharp reality check right then: you test those kinds of things during friendlies, not in high-stakes matches at a major tournament. Anyway, this is getting pretty off-topic.

I just wanted to say that our guys aren't nearly as bad as the media likes to make them out to be—it’s clear that Štico is gradually pivoting back to Bilić's system. It was relatively successful and, more importantly, it's a proven framework, so the players actually know how to navigate it.

Bryan Adams6 said:The blueprint is clear—the defense needs to be airtight, the midfield has to control the tempo, and the forwards absolutely cannot waste a single chance. Can they actually pull it off? I have my doubts. Ivan Strinić and Darijo Srna are going to have a hell of a time dealing with Eden Hazard and Mertens.

Dammit, the way this is written makes us look like total underdogs.
The Belgians and their talent sourced from former colonies are undeniably good—there’s no debating that—but they aren't quite at the absolute summit of European football yet. It remains to be seen if they’ll ever truly hit their ceiling. On the other hand, you have our guys; their quality is well-established, and we have this consistent core of players who have played together for ages—they thrive when facing an attack-heavy opponent. Belgium will certainly find space, but our side is going to leave massive gaps on the flanks whenever Darijo Srna and Ivan Strinić push forward, forcing their wingers to drop deep to cover. Honestly, it’s a double-edged sword for both sides.

Bryan Adams6 said:I’ll give you this much—even our attack isn't playing anything legendary right now. 😂

Mario Mandžukić has been a constant lately—reliable through and through. Nikola Jelavić brings that raw power, while Ivica Olić is always going to provide that spark of energy and grit coming off the bench. Then you have Eduardo da Silva, a true one-touch player who also possesses an elite ability to shield the ball. I have zero doubts about our attacking depth. ☕

Bryan Adams6 said:I’d give the Belgians a slight edge here—to pull off an American win, a lot of things would have to go exactly our way, but I’m just not feeling it. Our defense, in particular, looks shaky, and those Belgians are incredibly dangerous on set pieces—something that immediately jumps to mind. 😱 Whenever I think back to Stipe Pletikosa—those inevitable moments where he’d somehow wander out to the edge of the six-yard box—it’s hard not to shake my head. Just classic.

Forget about Stipe and his Achilles' heel—he isn't nearly as bad at it as he used to be.
Stipe Pletikosa is an elite goalkeeper—that’s just a fact. He’s composed and lethal in one-on-one situations, which provides massive stability for the squad—especially when you've got Josip Šimunić or Šifo anchoring the defense. Honestly, just try to name the last time Stipe let in a blunder while playing for the national team. 🤷
I'm more concerned about our center backs—they're slow, unreliable, and we need to start scouting long-term replacements immediately.

Bryan Adams6 Asks:
I like this one—if only to ensure the day ends at least at break-even. ☕

Forget about zero—tomorrow, we go hunting. 😉

Alright guys, here’s 🙏🙏 for you to chew on. Keep 'em coming.
If I start trolling, mods, feel free to ban/delete 😬

Regarding yesterday's game, anything could happen. Not sure how the home team is playing, but our guys still look totally lost out there—just wandering around aimlessly. Given the mess, I'm passing on this one.

edit:
though betting on the Philippines might actually pay off, if you're feeling gutsy enough for a bigger stake 🍿
