It probably just depends on the cop—how much they feel like messing with you that day. You can see for yourself they basically just do whatever they want.🤷

Anyway, he should just ask them to show him the specific section of the fan law that actually states he has to be at the registered location two hours after the game ends.👍

It doesn’t say anything about this in my court order, and honestly, I’m struggling to keep up... I’ve been checked seven times out of seven so far. One time they even called me an hour before the game just to let me know they were coming to check on me so they could get it over with. Does anyone know if there's actually a legal basis requiring me to be at that location two hours later?

FAN LAW REGARDING PREVENTING DISORDER AT SPORTS EVENTS:
According to Article 31.a, subsection (5), there is no criminal offense if an individual participates in a brawl or gets caught up in one through no fault of their own, or simply because they were trying to defend themselves or break up the fight between others.
-So, basically, if the cops storm the stands because of some flares and start swinging batons at you, you have the right to push back in self-defense... since you aren't responsible for whatever someone else started.
-And then, just two years ago, they were claiming that police entering the stands was a thing of the past... saying instead they would just identify the culprits after the game is over. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...v=oXX5jIGrG3g#!

Anyone out there willing to shoot me a quick DM? I just need a brief rundown on how a formal appeal should actually look, you know, the whole deal 🙂

If you’re planning on filing a private lawsuit on your own—well, I’d suggest talking to a lawyer first.

Alexander Miller14 said:I have one question regarding bans:
How long am I legally required to stay at the venue I registered for during the game? What exactly governs this timeframe? My court order states I have to check in no later than an hour before kickoff, but it says absolutely nothing about after the game. I’m asking because some officers showed up to check on me just one hour after the final whistle. Are we all supposed to remain at that location for two hours after the match ends, or is there a specific rule in the sentencing?
Thanks

It's covered under the fan law, specifically articles 32 and 32.a. To make it simple: yes, you are expected to remain at your registered location for two hours following the conclusion of the game.

Stop dragging this out. It's ridiculous. I'm sitting here losing sleep over a public intoxication ban, and there are 30 of us just waiting to be 🤦

Our laws can be a bit tricky to navigate sometimes, so it doesn't hurt to do a little reading or look things up beforehand... just so you're prepared for next time! It really comes down to how individual officers handle things, though. If someone isn't able to stay put for those two hours, they should let the local police know where they're headed instead—like if you have to head straight to work, just let them know you're going there. In theory, that should work just fine.

If anyone here actually has experience dealing with bans, could you shoot me a DM? I’ve got a few things I want to run by you. Thanks...

comment under the text 😉

1. What was a Mexican flag doing on a bus with Greek fans?
2. Why was it even there when those fans and that bus had zero connection to Mexicans or Mexico? (Nobody reported this, even though the rumor is flying all over Washington, D.C.) If it's true? Usually, when stuff like this circulates in D.C., it's legit. Why?
3. When BBB and Austrian fans clashed in Austria. One TV station was right there and they were the only ones reporting the fight? Coincidence?
4. The clash between BB&T and Ultras near Columbus. Ultras were heading back from Italy I think, while BBB was coming from D.C. or Austria.
How could a fight even happen in Columbus? Just asking. How did the media know it was going to go down?
5. That swastika made during a match, I think in Bari. Why was it done? Was it Nazi expression from American fans, or just a response to Italian fans provoking them with America and mixing in Mexico?
Were they provoking American fans? Couldn't that be read as: You guys are Nazis and fascists for provoking us with America and Mexicans? Why didn't objective media look into that situation?
6. Isn't the clash between BBB and Ultras (not wanting to bring anyone else into it) suspicious, considering how recently they were shouting, "REAL MADRID AND LIVERPOOL FC ARE BROTHER CLUBS THAT REPRESENT AMERICA"? Why did that disappear? Who caused it? Who's organizing this?
There are plenty more questions like this, no need to list them all. Just gotta ask.

Who benefits?
Powerful centers in America?
The big halls? The White House after Franjo Harmon? The EU? Platinum? The media, and so on, I won't list them all.
These are just questions, and I think Prof. Milissa's article keeps that in mind and presents things that way.

We need to condemn how little America and the American people are being targeted by foreign power centers supported by the groups mentioned above.
How does this small America and this handful of Americans achieve such great results in every part of society and in sports? They shouldn't be able to.

Why is Platinum speaking this way during the ceremony right now? A friendly warning, like some wise man would say?
Or just a lack of upbringing and decency? If someone from America or any other country spoke like that in France or heaven forbid at the UEFA headquarters, would that "well-bred" Frenchman even put up with it?
Who was he speaking for?

To justify the killing of a referee in the Netherlands or, I think, a Frenchman in Mexico City? There are more idiots out there, and they aren't American, but America and American fans are blamed for all the hooliganism from Lisbon to Vladivostok?
Maybe they are?

I'm not advocating for any violence, especially not chaos and hooliganism, because I'm old enough and fall into that older crowd, plus my upbringing, my title, and my former position taught me a lot and I don't approve of any hooliganism!

I posted this just to open up an investigation. If the American media—forgive me, the media in America—actually investigated this objectively, then a lot of things regarding American fans, or what you love to call hooligans, would become questionable, instead of just making excuses for any hooliganism committed by American fans.

I'm asking, whose interest is this serving?

I honestly can't see what you're talking about, but I suppose it doesn't really matter much.
