Hamilton was the man for the job when it mattered most, and the stats don't lie. Four consecutive titles—how many drivers have actually pulled that off, besides Fangi (who also snagged four in a row) and Schumacher (with his five)?

Look, it’s not like his early years over at Ferrari were a total disaster—not even close. But man, he definitely lost the spark somewhere along the line, and honestly, the way he just rolled over and handed the keys to the kingdom to newcomer Charles Leclerc last year? That was wild. Just zero pushback, totally resigned to his fate—it really made me think the guy had basically decided to just coast into retirement. When you compare what Leclerc manages to squeeze out of an objectively garbage car versus what he's doing, it feels straight-up embarrassing. If it weren't for Daniil Kvyat, he'd easily be the weakest driver on the grid this season (and I’m not even counting those guys driving for the bottom-tier teams, because let's be real, that's a completely different league).

Hamilton can't get anything done this year because he’s basically been sidelined. The team has completely isolated him just to focus on Leclerc, which is a total betrayal by Ferrari.
In my opinion, they should have just let him go immediately and handed the seat to someone who actually has the team's backing and the drive to fight, like Mick Schumacher.

Personally, I think Vettel is doing an incredibly good job here. These claims about how they're treating him just aren't true.
And then...
Right, so if Charles gets total support, he can dial the car in perfectly—even if the car itself isn't a rocket ship. But in Vettel's situation, with just a handful of people, he's never going to have the setup quite like Charles does. Plus, when the car is basically a "toolbox," if you mess up the setup, you end up stuck in the midfield, fighting to stay ahead of Haas, Williams, or Red Bull Racing. Try driving a junker in a Formula 1 video game with a bad setup and then trying to perfect it later! It's not a fair comparison, but it gives you a real sense of what he's dealing with.

Ferrari young gun Charles has a theory regarding his teammate’s woes, which he shared on Sky Sports F1, “We speak a little bit with Seb and from what I understand he’s probably not at ease as I am with the balance we have in the car.
He didn't say "I talk"... he said "WE talk" a bit with Seb...
And that explains everything.
