Drivers always say "we" because they’re really just talking about their specific side of the garage and their engineers.

That’s spot on, and honestly, it’s not just a thing in Formula 1. You see it all the time in the MMA world, too—fighters almost always talk in terms of "we." It’s just part of the culture to give credit where it’s due and acknowledge the whole team behind them.

Yeah, obviously. It’s just how things work. Just like it was totally normal to sideline Vettel from the car's development for 2021, and it’s perfectly normal that a driver they aren't counting on anymore doesn't get any edge in the small details. Still, that doesn't really explain why Vettel's gap was so impossibly huge. But look, Seb got absolutely wrecked twice back when he was actually the clear number one in the team, pulling in 20 or 30 times more than his teammate.

I have to admit, Vettel is completely confused right now.
He's making claims like this:
Honestly, even an average fan can see the situation much more clearly from their couch than he can.😕

We'll see how it all plays out in a year.

Pretty solid read. It nails exactly why Vettel struggled at Ferrari...
And honestly, it’ll probably play out the same way at Aston Martin unless he manages to poach some key guys from Red Bull Racing...

But man, this part actually cracked me up:

6. Christian hired to do what Christian does. (Actually, what does he do?)

🤣🤣🤣

It's a pretty solid article, and it hits the nail on the head regarding why Vettel struggled at Ferrari...
And honestly, the same thing will likely happen at Aston Martin if he doesn't manage to bring some of that Red Bull Racing crew along with him...

But what really cracked me up was this:

🤣🤣🤣

Man, are you really that desperate to argue over nonsense like this?
So now we're supposed to believe that back in 2014 at Red Bull Racing, he didn't have Marko, Horner, or Adrian on his side?🤦.

If this is the start of making excuses for a potential slump next year, it’s a pretty bad way to go about it.

Honestly, you’re getting pretty tedious with all this nonsense about who did what and why...🙄
Focus on the drivers for once instead of the people on the forum...

That’s a pretty spot-on summary of your contributions to this subforum, especially since 90% of them are just low-effort junk posts about why Vettel had another bad drive.

Vettel might actually end up hitting that infamous Pironi record, considering he’s sitting at 13th in the championship standings as a Ferrari driver right now. 👋

Considering what a total wreck he’s driving, he’s actually doing a decent job holding it together.

You really nailed that comparison. 🤦 🤦

Nice comparison you found there. 🤦 🤦

It wasn't him who found it, it was the crew over at Sky Sports F1 🤣
Then, once someone pointed out that Badoer and Fiziko were noticeably worse, they just claimed that opinion didn't count. 🤣

Bravo, really top-tier logic there, comparing drivers who only stepped into a Ferrari for a couple of races—one of which was their literal debut—to a guy who’s been grinding with the team for several seasons.

We're talking about a driver who actually drove an entire season here.

isn't allowed on the forum?

15. Playing dumb

Way to score a checkmate there. Just parroting whatever "experts" over at Sky Sports F1 say like some kind of bird...
Who cares what you think? All that matters is what gets said and written, not what's actually going on in your head. 🙂

Vettel's teammate finished fifth—Piroli's guy was seventh. So yeah, this guy was handling an even bigger wreck...

Max is crashing more often this season than Vettel is spinning out. XD

Checkmate, indeed. ☕

It looks like that comment from the chaotic weekend back in 2019—the one about all those silly mistakes—has aged incredibly well, I guess. Maybe even too well. 😛

Checkmate, indeed. XD

If they ditch that pink color scheme and actually go with this look, we’re looking at a top-tier car 🙏
Of course, I won't even get started on Seb's haircut 🤦

Everything about how this season plays out basically hinges on those first four or five races, because either we’re looking at a championship (finally!!!) or we aren't.mzzie (about time!) or it's a bust.
But honestly, I think he’s got plenty of motivation to finally get behind the wheel of a car with the best Engine. Just listen to that Mercedes purr.
