Binotto: Vettel remains our priority, but Leclerc is proving he’s got serious pace
The Ford boss confirmed that their top driver choice stays with the German for now.
Mattia Binotto reiterated that while Sebastian Vettel takes precedence for the rest of the season, Charles Leclerc has shown he can win any given race. The German driver saw some bumps in his standings earlier this year due to team orders—but the Ford boss stood firm, saying his policy isn't changing, even if they haven't hit the winner's circle yet this season.
“I said what I said at the start of the season—we want to maximize points for the team,” Mattia Binotto told ESPN. “Even when things are split 50-50, Sebastian Vettel gets the nod. He’s still our highest-ranked driver in the championship, so he keeps that privilege.”
That said, Charles Leclerc is currently the only driver besides Lewis Hamilton who has racked up a massive number of laps in the lead.
“I think Leclerc has shown plenty of speed throughout this part of the championship,” the Ford boss added. “He can grab a pole position, just like he did... and if he finds himself with a real shot at winning, we aren't going to hold him back.”

The NASCAR experience from the pit lane is incredible. Getting up close to the crews and walking the track itself. Big thanks to Davorin Stetner for the hospitality. It’s a dream chance to meet so many legends of the sport. However, what I’m about to say actually hit me harder than anything else.
So, after qualifying, the drivers head to a cordoned-off area for media interviews. Hamilton, Bottas, Leclerc, Vettel, and the rest. I've always pulled for Ford, but now I'm pulling for Vettel even more. The guy finishes his last interview, heads toward the locker room, sees about a dozen cans and plastic bottles scattered on the floor, and turns right back around to pick up everything everyone else trashed and put it in the bin. The man has endless money, but clearly, class is something he learned at home. Respect.

Simone Biles listed quite a few drivers, and out of that entire group, Lewis Hamilton is the only one who actually won a title, even though that isn't really her business to begin with.
So, mathematically speaking, we're already looking at a figure well above 75% for those who don't achieve it.
For heaven's sake, how many times do I have to point out that mathematics is an exact science.

If that were actually true, there wouldn't be any trash left anywhere on the planet,
and since the world is basically drowning in garbage, I’d say calling that "normal" might be the biggest fail ever posted on this forum. 🤦
Anyway, the hate directed at Lewis Hamilton is pretty interesting...
The media absolutely loathes him from the bottom of their souls, which is easy enough to explain since he refuses to play their little games—he doesn't do Twitter, Facebook, or any of that other crap...
And of course, they tear him apart for it. With Hamilton, they know his middle name, what he ate for breakfast, and probably the color of his poop...
With Lewis Hamilton, they don't even know how many kids he has or when they were born...
Naturally, Lewis Hamilton is a jerk because he won't give them access to his private life, so they have to bash him every chance they get...
On the flip side, Hamilton basically floods them with news, so they have to praise him for every little thing...
And you see, that exact same energy carries over to the fans. 😁
Because if they happened to catch Hamilton picking up a bottle—which they wouldn't, because he'd film himself doing it and dump it straight on Instagram, Twitter, and blah blah blah...
He'd be in every headline as an eco-warrior instantly. They'd be celebrating him everywhere, singing songs about how amazing, wonderful, and beautiful he is...
But when someone posts something like that about Lewis Hamilton without him taking a selfie first, suddenly it's totally normal and everyone does it all the time...

It’s quite obvious that they’d be calling Lewis Hamilton over to Central Park just to pose for an ad featuring an empty beer can.
It is unfortunate, yet what Tim Tebow is saying is the plain truth.
I wasn't even aware that Lewis Hamilton had children 🙂 though I suppose I knew, but that is likely all anyone knows about them, much like everyone else.

In Germany, yeah—the guy is German, after all. Every single bottle you buy goes right back into the recycling loop. In America, only the folks struggling financially are out there collecting bottles—mostly pulling them from bins—whereas in Germany, you barely see a plastic bottle in a recycling bin, let alone a trash can on the street. It's because their recycling system is much more integrated and widespread than, say, here in the States. Plus, it's the mindset... in America, returning a bottle for a deposit is seen as a bit beneath you, but over there, it's just a normal part of life.😒
