It really does fade the bruising...
Honestly, most of it is just in your head. You start worrying that everyone is staring at you, but they aren't looking at all.
I think after three weeks, you’ll get used to the fact that the nose shape is constantly shifting, but you're the only one who notices it.🙂
In the morning it looks swollen, then it settles during the day, then it looks thicker or you see a bump, then it looks wider or narrower...
Then I ask my mom—who tells me it looks exactly the same as always—and that's when it hits me how "obsessed" we are with this nose.
But hey, that's exactly why we went under the knife in the first place, right? Because we notice every tiny detail.

Exactly. No one ever pointed out my nose to me, but I just know a slightly smaller profile would suit my face better... 🙂 My only fear now is that it ends up looking worse. I'm not a fan of small, upturned noses; I just want something more "refined," if you know what I mean.🙂

There’s a huge chance things could go south for you. I had my own procedure just a few months ago, and now my nose looks exactly like Unknown's. It's an absolute disaster.👎
If I had any idea what to expect, I wouldn't have done it even in my wildest dreams...

Kenneth Harris27 said:Oh my god, with whom?? Did you have some kind of complicated procedure?

My case wasn't complicated, and nothing went wrong during the actual surgery itself.
The issue is simply that the surgeon completely ignored my specific requests and preferences, choosing instead to just follow his usual routine and produce the exact same look he gives everyone else. 😠While that style might work for some people, on me, it looks absolutely terrible.
I was seeing Unknown. Now I’m stuck waiting an entire year before I can even consider a revision, and who knows what kind of extra steps will be required then.😕
I am definitely open to any advice from anyone who has had to undergo a revision after their initial rhinoplasty!
But as for him—absolutely not, not even in my wildest dreams.

It’s just that this guy completely ignored everything I asked for—all my preferences and goals—and just did what he always does: churning out those same cookie-cutter shapes. 😠 It might look fine on someone else, but on me? It looks terrible.
The surgeon was Unknown. Now I have to wait a whole year before I can even think about fixing my nose again, and who knows what kind of procedure they'll have to pull then.😕
I am definitely open to advice from anyone who had to go back for a revision after their first nose job!
And please, don't suggest going back to him—not even in my wildest dreams.

He really does just stick to those off-the-rack shapes...
Honestly, it's usually better if they leave you with a bit too much—it's easy enough to slim things down later. But having to deal with what happened to you? That's a nightmare. Now you're looking at a full reconstruction, probably needing a cartilage graft.😢((

Look, I don't think you can just generalize everything because everyone’s experience is totally different🤣 and I personally had my surgery done by Unknown. He was the only one I actually knew about over 10 years ago, and honestly, I couldn't be happier—both with how he treats his patients and the actual results. I have nothing but praise for him. He didn't just follow some cookie-cutter template or do things his own way; he did exactly what I wanted, and the result looks completely natural. No one ever even realized I had nose surgery unless I told them myself (aside from people who already knew). I've never been ashamed of it or tried to hide it, and whenever I mentioned it, people couldn't believe it was "plastic surgery." A few months later during a check-up, he even suggested I could use injections to narrow the nose further if I wanted, but I turned it down because that would have made it look fake. Also, he didn't make it look pointy or too narrow—my nostrils don't stick out like a mandrill's—he basically just smoothed it out, removed the bump, and fixed the deviation. It’s just really sophisticated work. I am seriously thrilled, which is why I felt the need to write this—to, I guess, defend him, because for some reason, people are constantly dragging him and talking trash, yet I know at least three other people who went to him and were super happy (and it wasn't just for nose jobs).

This has been an absolute nightmare!
Honestly, I’ve been practically hiding from everyone for the last few months following my surgery,
and it’s all because I was chasing some impossible idea of perfection.
I feel completely let down by Unknown.
I really went in thinking he was a top-tier surgeon, but he clearly doesn't have a clue what he's doing.
Looking back now, it's clear his work is problematic—he botched the nose job for Unknown, and he gave Unknown a nose that is way too narrow for a guy who's 6'7"... it's honestly ridiculous.
If I could turn back the clock, I would have used my head.
Grace Kern3, you are obviously the lucky exception here; I'm glad things worked out for you.

If anyone knows who I should reach out to for a revision surgery—or whatever the term is—
please, give me some suggestions!!!

Unknown was an option for me too. I have nothing against him, but you have to admit his noses (not sure about other procedures) have a bit of a signature look, which is fine in its own way.
But honestly, it doesn't make sense—it's not logical to see the exact same nose on someone who's 5'1" and someone who's 5'10"... whether it's on a narrow face or a wide one, or on someone with full lips versus thin lips, right?!!
Maybe that specific style just happened to fit your face perfectly, so everything worked out, and I'm glad you're happy.😉
Here's a simple analogy... you go to a hairstylist and they tell you that bangs or chin-length hair would look great on you because you have a narrow face and a nice neck... but for someone with a small forehead, a wide head, or a thick neck, that style would look absolutely terrible. And keep in mind, hair grows back... you can wear a headband or a clip... but what are you supposed to do with a nose?!!!
Go back in for another surgery???
Unbelievable.
I feel like surgeons should be given some creative freedom—after all, they are aesthetic specialists—but at the end of the day, our wishes should still be respected!!!

Honestly, my nose looks totally natural now. People who know I actually had surgery just give me nothing but compliments, while those who have no clue tell me I just look happier, more content, or like I finally got some decent sleep...
The whole experience with this procedure was on a completely different level than any other work I’ve done—I seriously thought it would be painful, but man, was I wrong. The painkillers I prepped just in case are still sitting there, unopened and untouched. 🙂
I just went in for my two-month follow-up, and everything is looking perfect. It doesn't even feel weird if you touch it anymore...
I see people asking about skin issues post-op, but I haven't dealt with any of that. I used to struggle with it constantly before the surgery and after my accident (if you want the full breakdown of my skincare routine, check my older posts). My nose used to swell, shift, and change shape constantly, and my pores looked huge—like these dark little dots everywhere. None of that is an issue anymore. It looks beautiful and, more importantly, it actually functions perfectly.
I am just so incredibly relieved that I put my trust in Unknown and his team; I felt totally relaxed letting them take over. 🙂
I don't even know how to properly thank them because the transformation they achieved through their expertise is just immeasurable by any standard... the happiness and peace of mind I feel today is directly tied to having a surgeon with actual skill. Even though I’m still dealing with some lingering stuff from my old injury, everything feels way easier to handle because when I catch myself in the mirror, I see *me*—not some lopsided nose hanging to one side.
Anyway, that's the update. 🙂

Here is another question for the group:

Has anyone here been on Nokon injections for about five months (or whatever duration, the exact timing isn't really the point)?
I’ve been doing okay so far, though I still feel a bit swollen internally and at the tip. My doctor suggested I swing back by in a month so they can give me a few rounds of cortisone shots to help with the swelling...🤷
Any insight??

Thanks 🙂

so much for chasing perfection.
Glumičić really let me down.
I actually thought he was a top-tier surgeon, but he clearly has no clue what he's doing.
Looking back, he completely botched Blanka Vlašić's nose too, and made din Rađa's way too narrow—and this guy is like 6'7"... it's ridiculous.
If I could go back in time, I'd tell myself to use some common sense.
Grace Kern3, you're obviously the lucky exception, good for you..

If anyone knows who I should talk to about getting a revision surgery,
please give me some suggestions!!!

looks like I really am.. though little st makes a fair point—maybe this nose actually suits me🤷 honestly, I wanted to be able to say he nailed exactly what I asked for and that I couldn't compare my nose to any other celebrity who went through him. usually, I'd say everything went great for me, but hearing about your experiences makes me realize how painless mine actually was, especially the recovery phase😁 I had zero issues with skin irritation, bruising, shape changes, swelling coming and going, or hematomas.... do you guys do lymphatic drainage and massage your own noses? I'm convinced that the lymphatic drainage is the only reason I didn't deal with all that swelling and stuff.

I’m with you on that—deciding to go under the knife only to realize you need a whole second procedure just to fix the first one is an absolute nightmare.

Oh, and about those celebrity noses? I don't think it's down to one specific surgeon. It's more like all celebrities are chasing the exact same look because they all have the same ridiculous demands. To me, it's like they're all being mass-produced at a factory.🙂

I just had my follow-up appointment (two months post-op) and everything is looking great. It doesn't even feel weird if you touch it anymore...
I see some of you asking about skin issues after surgery, but I haven't dealt with any of that—which is a huge relief, considering I had plenty of skin concerns before the surgery and following my accident (you can read about how I used to take care of it in my older posts). My nose used to change shape constantly, swelling up and then dropping, and my pores were super visible, almost like dark spots—now, none of that is an issue. It's beautiful and, more importantly, it functions perfectly.
I am just so incredibly glad that I felt relaxed enough to put my full trust in Tony Bennett and his entire team. 🙂
I honestly don't even know how to thank them properly; the transformation they achieved through their expertise is just immeasurable by any standard. The happiness and peace of mind I feel today is a direct result of being in the right hands. And while I still deal with some lingering issues from my accident, everything feels much easier to handle now because when I look in the mirror, I see *myself*—not a nose that's tilting left and right.
Anyway, that's all for now. 🙂

Well, you've definitely calmed my nerves a bit! I'm actually seeing Tony Bennett in two months for my own procedure... 🙂
I'm really hoping I end up just as happy with the results as you are. 😁

Hey guys, what’s the consensus on Dr. Ivo Džepina? I saw him mentioned in the news today, so now I'm wondering... has anyone actually been to see him lately?

He works alongside Disney—honestly, I’ve heard nothing but glowing reviews about him.
There’s this little rumor floating around, though, that at their clinic, Disney basically handles all the heavy lifting while Ivo focuses on other things... and that Ivo mostly spends his time fixing everyone else's mistakes.
But seriously, everything I’ve ever heard about him has been top-tier, so if that’s the guy you want, go ahead and ask for him by name.

Usually, I’d say everything went smoothly for me, but hearing all your stories makes me realize just how painless my recovery actually was—especially the post-op stage.😁 I didn't have any issues with skin issues, bruising, shape changes, or that weird swelling that comes and goes, or the dark circles... Are you guys doing lymphatic drainage? And are you massaging the nose yourselves? I'm convinced that the lymphatic massage is the only reason I didn't deal with all that swelling.

I definitely like about 5 or 6 noses done by Disney... one belongs to Mile Horvat, another to Zanamari Lalic, and a third to Marija Cvitanovic...
I did the drainage thing, but nothing is touching these dark circles under my eyes—I'm basically living on concealer at this point. Anyway, during a check-up the other day, the doctor told me my cartilage—specifically at the bridge—is extremely thick. He said cartilage is tricky; for some people, it gets thicker in certain spots, creating scar tissue; for others, it swells, or it might even dip down and look sunken, requiring fillers to level it out.
He mentioned he'll know exactly what the next steps are in three months... maybe a revision surgery to thin out that cartilaginous part, since my body just seems prone to that kind of thickening.
I never thought a nose job would drive me this crazy, but here we are. I guess I'll just wait and see if things settle down...
