after just a month—it was basically like new, especially if you actually take care of it.
Seriously? Thank God!! 🙏
I'm honestly terrified, even though they told me there was nothing to worry about. They were smoothing out the bump right on my nose, but now that my nose is swollen where the bump used to be—and up near the bridge—it feels huge. 😲🙂
So, you're saying a month?? I'm only on day 11. I've been spraying my face with thermal water... and using ointment because the skin is peeling. Right now, I can't even imagine it "shrinking," but you've given me a little hope... thanks. 🙂😵

I’m actually pretty terrified, even though people told me not to worry. They were talking about this bump right on my nose, but now that the whole area is swollen, the spot where the bump was—plus the bridge of my nose—just looks massive to me. 😲🙂

Hehe, I used the thermal water too, and my skin was peeling a bit as well. Just be patient, I guess. It’ll all turn out fine. 😍
I read somewhere that the whole recovery process actually takes six months (!) though it seems like the surface stuff heals pretty fast.

It’s been about a week and a half since my surgery.
I barely even felt any pain, honestly...
Today, I actually went ahead and took the bandages off myself—mostly because they were losing their grip from all the ointment I've been applying...
They only worked on correcting my septum—specifically the cartilage—so if anyone has more detailed info on how long the recovery takes, I would be incredibly grateful...
To be clear, nothing was done to the tip of my nose.
A ton of little pimples popped up on my nose, but I should be able to handle that with a shower and some alcohol wipes.😁
The absolute worst part of this whole ordeal was having those silicone splints—the ones used to support the cartilage—removed...
Then today, I realized I've picked up a fungal infection—which, thank God, hasn't spread past my mouth...
A total catastrophe.
The one silver lining is that ten days post-op, I can breathe through my nose perfectly... once I deal with this fungus, I think I'll finally be back on top of things.

Honestly, you’re my only source of comfort here😛 because... mine doesn't look good from any angle. 😢
I am just WAITING and waiting... waiting for the swelling to finally, finally go down!!
Did yours swell up a lot, or just a little? Because if it was only a tiny bit, that’s not exactly going to help me feel better. 😵🙂
Thanks so much. 😍

Could you please post some before and after photos so we can actually see the results? It would be great if we could
compare the work of specific surgeons. Obviously, there's no need to post a photo just one day after surgery 😁... maybe wait
until about a month has passed. I know some women here had their procedures a long time ago, so if you're able to share, I would be incredibly
grateful 🙂.... And don't worry, it doesn't have to be a full profile shot, just a photo of the nose itself
...
Especially photos from those who went to the Actor, please. 🙏

Look, ladies, if you ask me, rhinoplasty can only do so much when it comes to actually changing the overall VOLUME of your nose. If someone is born with a naturally large nose, you might be able to slim it down a bit, but expecting it to turn into some tiny, dainty little button? I just don't think that's realistic from a single procedure—you'd probably need a second or even a third surgery to get anywhere near that territory.
But honestly, the whole point shouldn't be about chasing some tiny, pinhole-sized nose; it’s about achieving a refined, balanced shape that actually complements your specific facial features. 🙂
Anyway, that's just my two cents. 🙂
GOOD LUCK, LADIES...

Thanks a ton 😍
Mine ended up looking like a little balloon—super swollen—but that passed. It eventually settled down over time. Don't worry, just hang in there. 😍
I've got a septum correction coming up too, though I doubt the recovery will take that long. I'm guessing everything should stabilize after about a month. 🙂

Thanks, thanks, you really put my mind at ease. 🙈
I had septum surgery—reconstructing a tiny bit of cartilage plus the aesthetic part—so it’s actually totally normal for it to be swollen since my whole nose is still incredibly sore!! 🙂 But knowing it was just some temporary bloating 😁👋 makes me feel way better! Thank you so much!!😍🎉

You can find plenty of the Actor's work on this page. 😉
Thanks for letting me know. 😉 I was actually hoping someone else on the forum might post a photo—maybe even from other doctors. I only highlighted the Actor because he’s likely my top choice in the end.
Wishing a speedy recovery to everyone who just went through surgery. I'm still working up the courage! (And, let's be honest, saving up the cash, too.) 😁

vividfox said:Thanks so much, I totally read you loud and clear.🙈
I had septum surgery—basically just some cartilage repositioning along with a little bit of cosmetic work—so I guess it’s pretty standard for it to be swollen since my whole nose is still incredibly sore!! 🙂 But knowing there was actually swelling involved, 😁 👋 makes me feel a lot better about things. Thanks a ton!!😍 🎉
Hehe, no worries at all. 😍
I was honestly a total wreck after my surgery. There was just so much emotional stress built up, you know how it is when you expect one thing... and then you end up with this swollen mess instead. Eventually, I just calmed down and stopped staring at it in the mirror. Time passed, and I didn't even realize when it finally healed up. 😍
Oh, and I should mention one more thing. My procedure wasn't a full-on reconstructive surgery; it was more of a correction and maybe a tiny bit of enhancement. So, speaking from my own perspective, I wasn't having major plastic surgery, but I think I read somewhere that recovery might be faster that way.

Oh, and one more thing. I didn't undergo a full-blown reconstructive surgery, just a correction and maybe a little touch-up. So, speaking from my own perspective, I wasn't in the "major surgery" category, though I did read somewhere that recovery is faster that way.
Hehehehe, just had my follow-up. It's day 14. Some minor bruising, but there are these dark shadows under my eyes that even foundation can't hide 😠
CNN: It looks better, just swollen 🙂 so... THERE IS STILL A LOT OF SWELLING TO GO!!
Ouuuujeeeaaa 👍🙂🙂🙂
Everything else is fine... just waiting for the next chapter of "shrinking now" 😉😁

Hey everyone, so I’m sitting here at the four-month mark now. Honestly, the implant feels amazing—super comfortable—but man, I just can't get used to the way my profile looks. It’s not like there was some massive transformation or anything, the profile is fine, it really is... it's just that for me, the change is just... ugh, it's a lot to wrap my head around. I'll get used to it soon enough, I guess... I think I already am...
Anyway, I’ve been scrolling through all your posts, and regarding those little hiccups people were mentioning? I haven't dealt with a single one, thank God!!!
Quick question though—does anyone know how long the recovery takes before you can go scuba diving without any issues? I’ve got a trip to the coast coming up soon, and I'm wondering if it's even safe... I have this nagging feeling I shouldn't do it, because wouldn't the salt water totally irritate the internal wound??!!!!!

My doctor actually told me to get in the water and dive as much as possible, claiming nothing clears out the sinuses quite like the ocean...🤷

If you aren't easily squeamish—and I mean really, truly stomach-turning levels of gross—you might want to check out this video showing the nose surgery 😁 procedure.

Hey everyone!
So, I had nose surgery back in August last year at a private clinic over in Arcadia.
I'm actually pretty happy with how things turned out, especially with my profile. But honestly? My nostrils are still way too wide, and it’s driving me crazy. I wanted to get your take—should I go through with a procedure to narrow them down?
The doctor mentioned he'd do it for free, like, it's already bundled into the initial price.
My only hesitation is that they have to make these tiny incisions, which leaves little scars... but man, I really feel like they're too big. They look like literal holes!
I’d really appreciate some honest opinions and comments. What do you guys think of my nose, and would you personally go for that kind of follow-up work?

Hey everyone.
I had rhinoplasty back in August last year at a private clinic in Arcadia.
Overall, I’m happy with the results, especially the profile. However, my nostrils have always been quite wide, and it still bothers me. I’m looking for some input—should I go through with narrowing them?
The doctor mentioned they could do it for free, as it was already bundled into the initial cost.
My only hesitation is that it requires small incisions, which leave tiny scars... but honestly, they feel massive to me. Just little holes.
I’d appreciate some honest opinions. How does my nose look to you all, and would you personally opt for that extra procedure?
Your nose actually looks great! Seriously, nice job. Regarding the nostrils, I actually had mine done. The only real pain was dealing with the stitches, though that might be different if you're just doing that specific part. Honestly, they are a bit wider than average, but I can't say if I'd go back for more... I can't really give advice here. If it bugs you, go for it, but that's a call only you can make. Good luck!

Hey ladies! I'm finally joining the club. I've dealt with my nose my entire life, but I'm 21 now and I'm finally pulling the trigger on surgery!!! 🙂
I've been scrolling through everyone's posts, looking at what people are saying about Tončić, Ostojić, Actor, and Borica... it looks like most people are torn between choosing either Bastaic or Kinčl... 🙂
And honestly, now I'm stuck. I really want someone to get rid of this bump right in the middle and fix the tip... but when I look closer, the whole thing probably needs a complete overhaul. Who should I actually go with? Bastaic or Kinčl? 🙂
🙂 👋

I’m still weighing my options, but if I pull the trigger, I’m going with Bastaic. Like I mentioned before, my son had his surgery performed by him, and we couldn't be happier. He was incredibly dedicated to the patient, and even long after the procedure, he’s always available for advice. I just feel safe knowing he’s in charge. Plus, his pricing is very reasonable—all the follow-up care, dressings, and checkups are included in the initial cost. He’s highly skilled and truly professional. I believe dianazd went to see him, so she might be able to share more from her own experience.
