I managed to pull the threads out myself using tweezers—but if you don't have the nerve for it, just don't. Honestly, you give it a little tug, and if there's any resistance at all, for heaven's sake, do not yank it. Just pull the ones that come away easily.

As for exfoliation, my specialist told me that once I removed the mold, I could apply a light scrub—though they emphasized "light" quite heavily.

As for picking a surgeon—honestly, I think it just comes down to personal preference. Every doctor has a completely different approach and style when it comes to their work.

My rule of thumb is to give it a tiny little tug—if it resists even a bit, leave it alone! Only pull the ones that slide right out without any drama.

As for exfoliation, my surgeon told me once I had the mold removed, I could use a gentle scrub, but he really emphasized the word *gentle*.

Last night, I tried pulling one single thread with my tweezers and it popped right out immediately; it didn't fight me at all. I haven't even dared to touch the others because I wasn't sure if it was okay to do so🤷. Since my sister didn't mention anything about aftercare while she was at the doctor's office—which was the only thing she missed—I was a little terrified to touch anything. So, it looks like I can handle this solo, which is great! 🙂 👍

Regarding skincare, as soon as they took the mold off, I cleaned everything up with some aloe vera toner and applied my usual hydrating moisturizer. Starting Monday, I’m beginning facial lymphatic drainage massage, which should really help speed up the healing process for both my skin and my nose.🙂

Elizabeth Bennett15 said:sasha, you really can't say that with such certainty. I've actually seen firsthand how a few women went back to the surgeons for "fixes" because they weren't happy with the results from doctors like Tončić and several others. I didn't want to point that out or give anyone bad publicity, but since you're feeling so discouraged, maybe the rest of us should speak up too? Though, I suppose it isn't very kind to do so....
My aunt went to see the surgeons about five years ago. Her nose looks exactly the same, just without that little bump she wanted gone. It all comes down to communication—if you're clear about what you want, that's what you get...

I'm with Ryan Green2 on this one.

Yesterday marked exactly two months since my surgery, and honestly? I'm thrilled. Even though I was absolutely terrified—just like most of you probably were—and spent so much time researching everything... it wasn't an easy call to make, that's for sure...

Like I've mentioned here before, I am extremely happy with my nose. Glumičić delivered exactly what I asked for. There are no weird lumps, nothing looks artificial, it’s just perfect...
As for the pain, I see some people mentioning intense headaches after the procedure, but looking at my own experience, it seems like everyone reacts differently...

I did have some bruising after the surgery (the second day was definitely the worst, then it started fading), but no headaches at all. In fact, I didn't even need a single painkiller.
So, yeah, it really is a very individual experience...

oh, just wonderful... 😍
I’d love to get my little one's nose done too...😂
but I'm honestly terrified of all that blood—you know, the kind that just flows down your throat... at least, that's how the girls described it🙄
though I am far too young right now... so...😁 maybe I'll manage to scrape up enough courage in about five years🤣

Oh my goodness, how is everyone reacting? What does the neighborhood think? I wonder how long it took for the nose to reach this stage... You must be absolutely thrilled...😍 Listen, I’m done. I’ve officially thrown in the towel...😢 I placed my order for February 2nd... but the anxiety hit me so hard that I started shaking the second I hung up the phone...🤷 I'm not quite ready yet... but I'm keeping my savings tucked away safely in a jar. Once I finally find the courage, I'm going for it...😁

Alright, look, I'm new here so you guys probably think I'm losing it. I'm 14 right now and I can't stop obsessing over nose surgery. It’s not even just about looks—I mean, yeah, I've got that famous bump—but it’s also a functional mess. I've had this deformity since birth that causes constant sinus infections, asthma, all that junk. My mom and I talked about it, and she’s down, even though she thinks I’m way too young (I know, I know, but seriously, waiting until I'm 18 sucks xD). If I go through with it, I want to fix the deformity AND get the cosmetic stuff done at the same time, like sanding down the bump. Is that even a thing? What do you guys think?
Seriously, my nose totally wrecks my profile. I try so hard to hide it when I'm out with people because I'm terrified everyone is staring ):

briskorca6, from what I know, you usually have to be at least 16 for nose surgery. Unless it’s actually messing with your breathing or something serious, you probably shouldn't go earlier. Correct me if I'm wrong 🙂
But honestly? You should probably wait. In my experience, guys don't get scrutinized nearly as much as girls for having a bigger nose or prominent ears. Most guys have coarser features anyway—not everyone, obviously, but I actually find a bump on a guy's nose or a more "masculine" profile pretty attractive. It really just comes down to confidence and how you carry yourself. I know plenty of guys with all sorts of "imperfections" who are still total heartthrobs that every girl wants to date.
I doubt I'll talk you out of it, but I'm speaking from experience here. I had my nose done thinking it would change everything—that people would like me more or that I'd be more attractive. Turns out, nothing changed. Hardly anyone even noticed the difference. You have to prove yourself through your own personality. And stop trying to hide it; that just draws attention to the very thing you're worried about.
To be blunt, you might regret it later. Unless, of course, you're gay or bi, in which case, whatever, that's fine too. 🙂

I’m sure you’re absolutely thrilled.😍 Look, I’ve officially thrown in the towel.😢 My appointment was set for February 2nd, but the sheer anxiety hit me so hard I started shaking the moment I hung up the phone.🤷 Clearly, I’m not mentally ready yet—but the cash is sitting safely in my savings account, and once I find my nerve, I’ll be heading in.😁

Thanks, ladies! Honestly, everyone says it looks incredible—they’re totally blown away by the results.
It stayed swollen for about a month before it finally started looking like an actual nose. He achieved the look I wanted, even though he insisted you can't just pick a celebrity photo and expect a match—it has to work with your specific facial structure.
You shouldn't have given up; it really isn't that bad. They basically hype you up so much that you don't even care about the downsides. In reality, the absolute worst part is simply the agonizing wait leading up to the surgery day.

Hey Marvin, it’s been a week since my surgery and honestly? Zero issues. My nose looks perfect—not even swollen... anyway, I just wanted to let you know I actually talked to the doctor about those age limits. Apparently, they don't typically operate on anyone under 15 or 16, but it's not some hard-and-fast rule. For instance, he’s seeing this 13-year-old girl 🙂 next week who has a bump on her nose that’s really messing with her confidence... Since facial bones are still growing and shifting at that age, they usually advise against it, but there isn't any extra surgical danger involved—it's the same risk as any other procedure. That's just my doctor's take, though he admitted surgeons are pretty split on the whole thing; some do it, some don't. Hope that helps... (Side note: I dealt with the exact same thing you are—that constant urge to look down because of how you feel, the total lack of self-esteem. But now? I feel so much better. I'm just glad I went through with it.)

Hey everyone, just wanted to drop in and share some big news—I’m finally pulling the trigger on my nose job! :-) I've got my appointment set for Day D, Monday, June 29th at 7:30 PM with Dr. Ljubiša Bastaić. Honestly, I think I'm going to lose my mind at work this coming Monday just from the pure anticipation (or let's be real, the total chaos).

Thanks for the advice, but I still hate how it looks. Like, when I look in the mirror, it's the only thing I see and it drives me crazy. Plus, it's not just looks—my breathing is trash. Last summer, I was dealing with asthma because of my NOSE. Or sinus infections because of my NOSE. I saw a doctor and he actually recommended surgery because of a deformity. So yeah, it looks way too big for my face, and he said I can fix it whenever I want [except for kids under 10]. Basically, I’m thinking about doing it just like Blanka Vlašić did. She had breathing issues and fixed the aesthetics at the same time. That's the plan. What do you guys think??? Btw redangler13, I'm not gay or bi, haha

😲😲😲😲😲😲😲 A whole week? So you only just took the mold off?
It took a full twenty-five days before things finally started feeling "off" for me.🙏 Good grief, I haven't heard that one yet... hats off to you.

Don't sweat it too much. You're worrying over nothing. You just drift off, wake up with that mold on your nose, and honestly? No anesthesia, no pain. It's really not that deep. 😉 Just some tension around the nose area until they take the mold off... and honestly, those stupid tampons. Don't worry about it; you'll have a good laugh once this is all over. 😁

Yeah, I’ve still got a tiny bit of puffiness under my right eye, but honestly, a little concealer covers it up and I don't even care... obviously, it'll take a few more months for my nose to fully settle into its final shape, but it isn't swollen. No matter how much I stare at myself in the mirror or overanalyze every single millimeter, I don't see anything wrong. 🙂 I seriously can't even put into words how much better I feel now that the surgery is behind me... it was worth every penny.

I'm genuinely happy for you. 😁 I'm still dealing with dark circles, though the discoloration underneath has cleared up a couple of days ago 😕. It's been five weeks now and I still can't hide it with makeup... it's just visible. 😠
And to be completely honest... the feeling is the same. I don't feel like I've had surgery, nor does it feel like it changed my life in any massive way (aside from the fact that I can breathe better now). My airway is straighter and better, but that wasn't my main concern, even though I thought this would be a total game-changer for my entire existence.🤔😵

Regarding those cellulite areas, they're basically just... regular skin issues, I suppose? 😁

Can't you just track them with some kind of anti-cellulite cream?
They have it at the drugstore... I can't for the life of me remember the name, but I'm sure the pharmacist would know what I mean. 🙂

Does anyone happen to have any intel on what the price tags look like for surgeries with Ostojić, Bastaić, or Tončić? It would be incredibly helpful if someone who’s actually sat in their consultation rooms could chime in... they're currently my top picks, but I'm just flying blind when it comes to the actual costs.

and honestly... it feels exactly the same. I don't feel like I even had surgery, and nothing really changed (except I breathe better now). It looks flatter and nicer, sure, but I don't really care, even though I totally thought this was going to be some life-altering thing 🤔😵

Well, that sucks then... clearly it's different for everyone. Honestly, I really hope those dark patches fade soon so you can at least cover them with makeup. Maybe you'd feel better about the whole situation if everything had settled down by now, I don't know... so do you regret even going through with it? I went out for the first time since my surgery yesterday and actually managed to cover it all with foundation... but everyone who saw me with the bruising kept teasing me, saying I look like I got jumped 😁 but they aren't actually that bad, especially since I can hide them...

Honestly, I think it depends on way more than just which doctor you pick. It's all about how intense the procedure is. Like, with Tončić, you're looking at maybe $0.00, but then again, I only went in for a basic cosmetic touch-up...
