I swear, Ken Jeong (Mr. Chow) and 😍Zach Galifianakis🀣 are absolutely killing it in every single scene.

I almost choked when I saw that. 😁

There were some decent moments, but let's be realβ€”it doesn't touch the first one. You can tell they've run out of steam, even if it's still worth a watch. The original remains the gold standard for blockbusters in this genre over the last few years.

Jamie Mitchell5 said:Honestly, I think this movie is a total blast. Both parts are just as good as the first one.
I was laughing my head off; that kind of humor just hits right for me. On the flip side, I’ve seen a few people on this forum claiming that The Big Lebowski (along with a couple of other overrated flicks) are the most epic movies Ever !!! 1, so I was sitting there recently thinking: Okay, but when does the actual funny part start?!

So yeah, to each their own... personally, I say let them tear them all apart and just make a new one in a different country every single year. 😍

Both the first one and the second are solid comedies in my book. I'd say they're perfect for a group watch since there are plenty of great bits and scenesβ€”you've got the tiger, Tyson, Mr. Chow, the anchor, those shots of Thailand, the little baby, and Alan, of course 😁. But you really can't compare this to the greatest comedy ever, The Big Lebowski. It's obvious you preferβ€”if I can put it that wayβ€”a "lighter and more primitive" type of humor, which even I find appealing sometimes (like tonight, when I decided to check out this "American remake" of the first film). Still, Lebowski is in a completely different league.

As far as comedies go, I'd give both installments a very respectable 7.5/10 because I really enjoy the upbeat, easygoing atmosphere maintained throughout the whole movie, punctuated by some genuinely funny moments πŸ‘

Honestly, this movie feels like a total cash grab just riding the coattails of the original... and don't even get me started on the third one. Look, there are definitely some decent moments in here, but let’s be realβ€”it doesn't even come close to the first one.
