I have a feeling those little bumps might just be dissolving under the local anesthesia.

I’m seeing a tiny protrusion too—fingers crossed it disappears on its own. If not, I’ll have to deal with some smoothing out, which honestly terrifies me. I can't wrap my head around the idea of a doctor working on my nose while I'm wide awake.

Actually, I'm more worried about this small indentation on one side. I doubt it can be fixed easily—I've heard you can sometimes fill those in with fillers or something similar...

The profile looks good, but I haven't quite come to terms with my new look from the front yet.
Maybe everything will just settle into place eventually... I'm nine months post-op right now.

Yeah, except my doctor told me there’s nothing left to be done about it. I’m talking about that lump—he basically said surgery wouldn't fix anything at this point. Honestly, though? I’m not buying it. I’m going to wait a few months and see how things play out; if he just keeps repeating the same line, I’ll head out and get a second opinion from someone else.

Alright ladies, listen up... I just need to get this off my chest. I went under the knife for a rhinoplasty with Dr. Glumicic. After a car accident, my nose was slightly misaligned—it kind of drifted to the left from the center point. It wasn't a massive issue, but it bothered me. My nose wasn't particularly large or small; it actually fit my face perfectly before all this. So, naturally, I decided to go through with the surgery. As soon as I got the cast and tampons removed after the procedure, I felt like the cartilage was swollen and thought, "Maybe I'm just imagining things..." Well, I wasn't. Over the next month, two months, three months, this bump right in the middle of my nose became increasingly visible. I’m telling you, everyone started asking me what happened to my nose! I was losing my mind. Honestly, my nose looked way better BEFORE the surgery than it did after!😲 Fast forward five months, and I find myself back at the doctor's office filing a complaint. I didn't hold back; I told him exactly how I felt and made it clear that if I had known this would be the result, I never would have stepped foot in his clinic. His excuse? He claimed this happens sometimes—that my nasal bone reacted by ossifying, creating that bump. He tried to fix it with some injections, but it was useless. For the first seven days after the shots, the bump was gone, only to resurface again. At that point, the doctor decided I had to go back in for a second surgery. After the second round, my nose is in much better shape than it was after the first one—meaning the bump is mostly gone. I can't say it's completely vanished, though; I can still feel a slight presence on the right side when I touch it. So, ladies, if you're considering surgery, think long and hard. My level of satisfaction after two surgeries? Let's just say it's mediocre at best.

Hey, blueseal12, I need the full scoop on everything... I went in for a consultation earlier this afternoon and honestly, things seemed pretty decent so far... But here’s the thing, I really needed a noon appointment because of my college schedule, and the nurse told me to just give them a call the following afternoon. Well, they played hard to get until today! I ended up calling them ten times a day, just relentless, but I finally managed to lock in the slot!!!😛 I'm looking at getting otoplasty. What did you have done with him? Are you actually happy with the results? Was he polite and all that...? Please, if you can, tell me everything... I'm a bit of a wreck about this...😕

Hey everyone, I finally had my nose surgery yesterday with Dr. Glumicic. I’ve had this bump on my nose ever since I took a hit when I was just a kid, and just like shadowraven23, my nose was slightly deviated to the left—nothing too obvious to anyone else, though. Everything went perfectly; honestly, I didn't feel a thing. I just fell asleep, woke up, and it was over. Usually, I'm a total wimp when it comes to medical stuff—I'm basically a walking bruise and I get anxious about everything. It's day two now, and I've got some bruising and swelling under my eyes, but nothing crazy. The only annoying part is having to breathe through my mouth, so I am seriously counting down the hours until they take the tampons out tomorrow.

Everything went perfectly. Honestly, there was zero pain... I just drifted off to sleep and woke up, and that was it. Heyyyy😉 wishing you a super fast recovery! I really hope you love the results... I'm curious though, what did the whole thing end up costing you, and how long was the wait for an appointment?

I am seriously so happy to hear everything went smoothly for you! Honestly, I wish I could say the same for myself because after my first surgery, the pain was absolutely brutal. It felt like someone had grabbed me by the head and was slamming it into a wall all day long! That was the sensation, plain and simple. But then, after my second procedure, I didn't feel any pain at all! I'm wishing you a very speedy recovery, and I truly hope your new nose turns out exactly how you pictured it! 😉

Honestly, I’m right there with Tyler Reyes2 on this one. I want to know everything. Just give me all the details. — blueseal12
Please. 🙂,
I’m basically torn between Zambeli and Glumicic right now. 😕

Hey everyone, I'm still alive! Getting the tampon removed actually went way smoother than I expected. Thank God my sister was quick about it, so the whole thing only lasted a few seconds. I felt totally fine until yesterday afternoon, and then suddenly my nose started stinging and throbbing like crazy. I guess it was just all those painkillers finally wearing off, so I could barely make it through the night before they could get it out.
On Monday, they’re taking the mold out and I’ll feel like a whole new person. I've still got some bruising under my eyes, but they told me that usually lasts about three days after surgery before it starts fading. For the record, the procedure cost me about $1,950 and I had to wait a month for the appointment.

Yesterday, I underwent septoplasty surgery with Dr. Miller in Orlando... and I have nothing but high praise for the surgeon, the anesthesiologist, and the nursing staff. They are an absolutely stellar crew—so incredibly natural and they kept cracking jokes the entire time.🙏:

There’s zero pain, just some swelling under my eyes, but nothing too intense... I'll be having the splint removed this Tuesday. The procedure itself was quite complex, as it was more about functional correction than just aesthetics.

For everyone living in the Southeast region, take my advice: don't bother trekking all the way up to New York or Chicago. Dr. Miller is hands down the premier nose specialist in the country, which explains why he doesn't need to waste money on flashy advertisements. He essentially takes on the toughest cases—the ones where other surgeons have already completely botched the job. Truly impressive work.🙏: 🙏:

I have one question for now... 😁

Did everyone pay in cash? Is there any way to use a card? (like a debit card)...

The only thing was that because of my college schedule, I really needed a noon appointment. The nurse told me to just give them a call the following afternoon, but man, did they drag their feet! They were totally giving me the runaround until today. I swear I called them ten times a day, but hey—I finally managed to lock in my appointment!😛 I'm actually heading in for an otoplasty myself! What exactly did you have done with him? Are you happy with how everything turned out? I'm trying to get a feel for his bedside manner—was he kind and easy to talk to, or what? If you wouldn't mind, please write back and give me all the details... I'm feeling a little nervous about the whole thing.😕

Everything's passed.👍 Don't you worry about a thing!

blueseal12, please 🙂 help us out here,
because right now I am totally torn between Zambeli and Glumicic. 😕

👍 I finally made it home—they basically drugged me, put me to sleep, and then woke me back up!
My sister had to look after me until the next day. 👍 Now I'm facing the removal of the molds and tampons in a few days (and let me tell you, that is the absolute worst part). 😛
Most likely Zambeli. 👍

So, are you being talkative today?😁 😁Does that mean you're actually happy with him????????? Good for you, honey... anyway, how’s his nose look?😁😁And tell me, were the nurses and the rest of the staff polite enough?

So, what’s the move here—which doctor am I actually supposed to trust at this point?
I've been scrolling through all your posts, and honestly, it seems like nobody can get a single word in without someone tearing them apart. It’s exhausting. I’m stuck in this loop of indecision, and I was planning on scheduling my surgery right after New Year's.

Hey Charles Cox8, would you mind posting a photo of yourself from before the procedure? I really love how your nose turned out now—it makes me curious to see what the transformation actually looked like. Thanks.

I’m heading in next week for nose surgery with Dr. Bedekovica.
The primary driver here is purely aesthetic. Honestly, the man is incredibly pleasant and maintains a high level of professionalism—which was a huge relief for me. That initial consultation was everything; he dedicated a full 45 minutes just to me, addressing every single one of my questions and performing a thorough examination.
In terms of pre-op requirements, I have to get blood work done, a urine test, a chest X-ray, and a cardiac evaluation, along with a clearance from an internist.
If you opt for the hospital setting, you’re looking at a seven-day stay post-surgery. However, if you go the private clinic route, you can typically head home just two or three hours after the procedure is finished. As for the IV bruising, that usually fades away after about 12 days. Regarding the costs, they informed me that prices range from $1667 in a hospital setting up to $8333 for private care.
