this guy underwent surgery quite late in the game, which leads me to believe he was trying to manage the situation through other methods beforehand. It's highly probable one of those methods included "your" recommended exercise—which clearly didn't work, given the fact that the poor guy ended up needing surgery anyway.😉

Now you're trying to convince us all that he just overextended himself too much.😁 😁

Honestly, I don't understand why you all are so obsessed with this idea of "overextending" that you can't stop joking about it. What actually fascinates me is how people remain such slaves to tradition.

To me, it sounds like he saw a doctor who immediately pushed for the most invasive procedure possible without ever presenting any alternatives or giving him the necessary information to make an informed decision. The doctor simply chose what they preferred and stripped the patient of his autonomy—it's just bad practice.

To me, it sounds like he visited a doctor who immediately pushed for the most invasive procedure possible without even presenting alternatives or giving him the info needed to make an actual choice. Basically, the doctor just picked what he liked and stripped the patient of their right to choose—it’s just bad medicine.

Look, it's not about tradition, and it's definitely not useless. I mean, man, if he suddenly ended up with phimosis, what would he even do then?😬

Anyone here know anything about Charlie? I’ve been hearing that it’s nothing out of the ordinary, let alone dangerous... 🙄

Is this some kind of sexually transmitted disease or something?

Well, let's jump straight to the health aspect! 😬

Charlie. It’s a real problem if you can't keep up with basic hygiene and you're also dealing with erectile dysfunction. Otherwise, it's not that big of a deal.

Alright, let's address the medical elephant in the room right away! 😬

Nah, definitely not... it’s just that "two dicks, one testicle" phenomenon.🙏

Let me jump straight to the medical side of things! 😬

It’s basically when the foreskin won't pull back over the head, and honestly, it’s already become a real health issue...😉

monika13 said:It’s that situation where the foreskin just won't retract over the glans properly—it’s already happened once before, and honestly, it’s starting to feel like a real health concern.😉

Look, don't even bother posting that to the health forums... nobody actually reads through that junk. By the time some moderator or expert finally decides to reply to his thread, the kid’s probably going to be sick and dead. 😬

To your health...

If this is a serious topic, you'll find more serious answers over there.
If it’s just for laughs, it would probably get shut down on Reddit anyway.

There you go. 🙂

Look, I’m not just messing around here... if you actually need to see a urologist for this, is that how it works? Like, do you have to pay out of pocket to get everything fixed up? How does the whole process even go down? Does anyone actually know... thanks 👍

Lately, I’ve been feeling increasingly anxious about this situation... I'm having some trouble pulling the foreskin back over the head... When I'm flaccid, I can manage to pull it back, but it's quite painful and honestly looks pretty unpleasant... It almost feels like I have too much skin there...
So, how should I put this? When I actually have an erection, it becomes virtually impossible to retract the skin, and that's what's really worrying me... I'm not entirely sure who I should reach out to regarding this issue... if anyone could perhaps recommend a good urologist!??

Additionally, I was wondering... is there any way that the skin could be stretched or loosened through specific exercises, or maybe even by using a certain cream!?😕

Look... I know there’s already a thread floating around about this, but absolutely nobody has weighed in yet... So, I’ve gotta ask—does anyone actually have to pay for that circumcision procedure? And if it isn't covered by insurance, does anyone have a rough idea of what the damage looks like? 🙄

Lawrence Wells said:It’s neither a tradition nor is it useless. Just imagine, man, if he actually developed paraphimosis, what would he even do then?😬

For those who aren't familiar, paraphimosis occurs when the foreskin is pulled over the glans and gets stuck, unable to slide back into its original position. Because it's too tight, it constricts the glans, cuts off circulation, and becomes incredibly painful.
Paraphimosis is a urological emergency; if this happens to someone, they need to call 911 immediately and get to a hospital. Once there, doctors can typically manually pull the skin back down, or use methods like draining fluid from the glans via syringe (after administering anesthesia), performing a dorsal slit, or even an emergency circumcision.
The only real danger is if a person fails to seek medical help promptly, as that can lead to tissue necrosis, though that usually takes several hours to develop.

Usually, they can manually pull the skin back down, or they have methods to drain the fluid from the head using syringes (after numbing it, obviously), or they might perform a dorsal slit or an emergency circumcision.
The only real nightmare scenario is if someone doesn't seek help right away—then you're looking at tissue necrosis—but that usually takes a few hours to kick in.

Nice one, Annie!🙂 You actually shocked me—honestly! 😍

Just go see your primary care doctor first.
Then I assume you'll get a referral to a urologist.
Or you could just book a private urologist if you want to skip the wait.

So, did you not have any, uhm, let's just say, technical😬 issues while you were waiting until then?😕

If it makes you happy, I can start calling you "Uncle" too!😬 And thanks for pigeonholing me

I honestly can't decide if I love or hate this thing. It’s one of those situations where you know exactly what you're getting into, yet you still find yourself second-guessing every single decision you made when you signed the paperwork. There’s a certain level of complexity here that just catches you off guard, isn't there? One minute you think you've mastered the nuances, and the next, you're staring at it like it's written in a foreign language. It’s a bit of a rollercoaster, really—partly frustrating, partly fascinating, and entirely exhausting. kaže:
Wait, are you telling me this thing is actually older than the police?!😲 So, you finally got caught in your late twenties? Seriously, what on earth were you waiting for all this time?! And more importantly, how on earth did you manage to hold it together that long?😲 😲

Looks like I completely misread the situation thinking this was actually:
crimsonotter29 said:Basically, everything was working just fine—the foreskin would slide halfway over the head, and then it was smooth sailing for Mike.

So, that pretty much settles it. It turns out you can actually live with phimosis without it being a massive, constant headache.
You could just use the tool halfway under the hood and call it a day. Simple as that. So why on earth am I...
I wasn't even planning on going under the knife... honestly, it just came down to those few specific times when things actually *did* start causing me trouble, and...
Because you know how it goes—every once in a while, a girl will bring up some ex of hers who dealt with a similar issue, and then...
I ended up getting it sorted out with a circumcision. Anyway, my surgeon actually brought up some interesting statistics regarding...
Penile cancer—it’s a scary thought, especially when you hear that circumcised men almost never deal with it. I was actually just talking about this, and honestly, if it were up to me, I’d go in for the procedure myself.
Circumcision (definitely not a DIY project) 😬...that he's the younger one.
Now that I’ve actually spent some time dealing with both the common carpenter ant and the crazy little fire ant... honestly, things feel a lot more manageable.
Look, I could probably take the psychological route here—try to rationalize my way out of this with some deep dive into my own psyche—but honestly? I don't think I have the energy for that right now.
Honestly, I couldn't care less... about the foreskin. It’s not like there's some massive difference when it comes to sex—not that anyone really needs to overthink it, right?
Honestly, can we please stop acting like sex is just about what you do with your penis? It’s really about so much more than that—just like everything else in life, I guess.
Anyway, I’m pretty sure that's a (C) anteater/leafcutter ant from the Predin group?

Anyway, I stumbled upon... I can't see any link here! You forgot to include it. Drop the link whenever you're ready and I'll take a look. I was just sitting here thinking back to that whole discussion about circumcision and its impact on HIV, and I felt like I finally needed to jump back in and weigh in.

The tip claims that "a circumcised penis, lacking the warm and moist protection of the foreskin, is less likely to accommodate the AIDS virus," which is nothing short of utter nonsense.

If you take a moment to consult any other credible sources, you will find that whether one is circumcised or not has absolutely zero impact on the transmission of HIV. His shallow logic is just as flawed as arguing that "a circumcised penis will be less lubricated, which increases the chance of minor abrasions during sex, thereby increasing the risk of HIV transmission." Aside from practicing abstinence or monogamy, the only real protection against HIV is using a condom. Circumcision offers about as much protection as carrying a lucky charm for Xi-Xa in your left pocket after sex: absolutely nothing.

Eric Robinson81 said:The guy claims "A circumcised penis, minus the warm and moist protective foreskin, is less likely to accommodate the AIDS virus," which is just straight-up nonsense.

Just look at the hypothesis regarding Langerhans cells.

Eric Robinson81 said:Check out some other sources and you'll see that whether someone is circumcised or not has absolutely zero impact on HIV transmission.

(Same source) "Research by the World Health Organization published in the PubMed Journal in July, 2006, showed that men who had been circumcised had a significantly lower risk of infection with the AIDS virus, and calculated that if all men were circumcised over the next 10 years, some two million new infections could be avoided. ...
The results of the first randomized controlled trials were published in November 2005, reporting that male circumcision provides a degree of protection against acquiring HIV infection, equivalent to what a vaccine of high efficacy would have achieved. male circumcision may provide an important way of reducing the spread of HIV infection in sub-Saharan Africa, affording a 60% reduction in the rate of new HIV infection (from 2.1 per 100 to 0.85 per 100 in the intervention group).[42] Results of two further randomized trials to investigate the possible protective effect of circumcision against HIV infections will become available in 2007."

Then there's the (economic) question of whether mass routine circumcision even makes sense
if an undeniable medical benefit is proven—people don't just have their
appendix removed preemptively; they wait until it actually gets inflamed, much like how we handle
tonsils (though more frequently). Personally, I find all this heated debate over a single
centimeter of skin from a "bodily integrity violation" standpoint to be a bit ridiculous, and frankly, it's
tasteless to compare circumcision to the barbarism of female genital mutilation.

But obviously, if you're deciding whether to deal with things like phimosis, the issue feels much bigger; at the end of the day, the choice is yours, whether it involves circumcision,
a Y-shaped plastic surgery, or just using steroid creams to help the skin stretch.

Male circumcision could slash HIV risk by a massive 50%!

Get this: getting circumcised might actually drop the chances of catching HIV in heterosexual men by about 50 percent. That’s what scientists found after running studies on 8,000 guys over in Uganda and Kenya. They were supposed to keep going until July 2007, but once they saw those initial numbers, the National Institutes of Health pulled the plug. They decided it just wasn't ethical to leave the control group unprotected when the data was already looking that clear.
